I detect a few slight timeline differences. CSA and Japan on the same side? Absurd!

And the Japanese plan will be the subject of debate for nearly 50 years, especially since so few people right now want to give up the jewel in the crown.

CSA never recognized the Shogunate, nor did it officially found it, remember? Rich delusional Japanese-Confederate guy whose ancestors told him he was descended from a shogun decided to found his own shogunate and the Confederacy just didn't give enough of a shit to consider stopping him.

Gesundheit.
Really, I don't think the CSA would take PEGIDA or PSAT/MNSQT or whatever very seriously. A couple random people living in Japan who've probably never seen North America or actually interacted with any Confederate won't garner any more attention or outrage than some delusional rich man naming himself shogun. I mean, they're less powerful than the average micronation, after all.And Takahashi would likely be abducted by the Japanese, shot, and thrown into the ocean.
I'm questioning whether or not you would get to abduct him, though. Keep in mind he's my character.

So Yugoslavia breaks up into four states; Slovenia, Croatia(w/ Bosnia), Serbia(w/ Montenegro) and Greater Bulgaria?

Hm. If you could, perhaps have something happen around World War 2 with the Ustaše? Italy would support.

Three:
CROATIA controls Slovenia, Croatia, and the Bosniak-Croat Federation;
SERBIA controls Serbia, the Republika Srpska, Montenegro, and Kosovo;
BULGARIA controls Macedonia and Bulgaria.

The main problem is that our history's events are rather accelerated; fascism will have already gone by the 1940s; with France being one of the last fascist states on Earth along with Republican China. Communism will remain a pervasive force, particularly where Italy (which will be communist) is concerned.

Well, I'm going to say that the Slovenes would resent the hell out of this organization and would likely attempt to secede unilaterally from Croatia later on; with militancy. Slovenes are not fans of their Croatian cousins.
Also; I humbly request you not partition Bosnia because that just makes my job as cartographer exponentially harder. ;_;

But the potential for accidental border crossings provided by an utterly confusing border is too immense!
Really, just copy and paste BiH on this map into your map; this one has the border between the Bosniak-Croat Federation and the Republika Srspka in gray, so just make it white to show that it's a national border and color the things on both sides.
