No, I think it was 99% wild guess and 1% Way too well versed in English, so either British, Scandinavian, or German, the three European groups that I consistently find to be the best at English. There are myriad exceptions, of course, but I usually find that to be true.

Civilization Name: The Yurgzeung Imperium
Government Type: The Government is led by the best of the best of all warriors, the strongest of the strong of all Yurgzeung. The High Prefect is the champion of the entire empire, and thus the absolute leader of all decisions in terms of government and alliances/war-times.
Home World/Capitol: Sorx, Capital City of Yurag Zeoung, Homeworld of the Yurg Zeung
Capital Status: The capital is a giant megacity built out of various living matter. Mostly coral-like substances among other things. There is a few gladiatorial stadiums throughout, and the High Prefect's palace has it's own personal battlefield. It is a prospering city within the Imperium.
Notable locations and such: Ethirius, the Slave World
Founding Species: Yurg Zeung.
Other Species: Yarg Zeung, a subspecies of Yurg Zeung. Basically, a deformed set of Yurg Zeung were purged and separated and called an entirely different species, before being turned into slaves.

BRIEF HISTORICAL OVERVIEW: The Yurgzeung Imperium was founded by the first High Prefect, High Prefect Zeu Hang. He led the tribes and empires of various origins together to be united as one species on the planet of Yurag Zeoung, and eventually led them to victory in conquering other worlds. Of course, he died in battle like an honorable soldier, and his appointed champion, Prefect Garha Heng took his place. This continued for a very long time, until the Yurgzeung Imperium owned about twenty thousand systems in it's own galaxy; of course, this was only medium-sized compared to some other empires, but nonetheless, it was impressive to behold.

Government Type: One party system with various levels of mostly elected sub-government. Lead by the General Secretary of the Socialist Party
Home World/Capitol: The humans that dominate the Republics originated on the world of Primus, the capitol is Segmentia
Capital Status: The capitol is a the second habitable world of the home system, settled in the early space age as Primus, the homeworld, was being consumed by global wars for the last few resources avalible. Every city and settlement was more or less planned down to the street layouts. Even with heavy industrialization, the world remains clean and in good shape, as less environmentally damaging technologies and systems were used. The capitol is an economic powerhouse of the Republics, though it is in close competition with several other worlds. It has a very developed industrial base, though it is not the most industrious world.
Notable locations and such: Primus, Segmentia, more will be added as plot develops.

Society and Cultural information: Segmentians are taught to have a strong lotality to the State, born into a culture where the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few. Camaraderie between citizens is paramount, though friendly compiton is encouraged. You would be hard pressed to find a disloyal citizen, though there are always those elements, which are actively rooted out.
Languages Segmentian, Basic
Economy: The economy is very solid and has been rising for the past decade. While not a juggernaut, it is maintained and designed to be grown steadily, and able to withstand most outside fluctuations.
Industry: The industry of the Republics is a juggernaut. While it has a few problems of its own, such as not being centralised to a few core systems, this allows the nation to continue production even after possible defeats in battles that may cripple other nations. However, there are a few systems more developed and geared towards industry that would be a major set back if they were lost.
Strengths: Manpower, industry, loyal citizens.
Weaknesses: None centralised industry, command economy allows for outside influences to have minimal impact, slow to fully mobilize its strengths in the event of a war

Colonization/expansion: Steady expansion, prefer new worlds to be close to preheld systems or worlds for support.

Foreign policy: Secure allies, but have a healthy dose of suspicion for all.
Diplomacy: The Republics prefer to steadily build relations with others, rather then jumping right in.

Military Information: The military of the Republics is large, the navy being the lagest by manpower. Once fully mobilized it can be a fearsome enemy, if lead correctly. Its primary doctrine is to have superior firepower, either in the form of better guns, or just having a lot more of them. All able bodied and able minded citizens are required to serve a two year term of service upon graduation from State schools. The military has a very public presence. While the navy itself is all generally of the same quality, the army is a mix of quality and quantity.
Citizens serving their two year term or brought in by Conscription during wartime make up the bulk of forces, though there is an elite corps of lifetime soldiers to be used as shock units, as well as an experienced NCO corps, which when all used correctly make for a devastating force.
Strengths: Numbers, elite forces, well defined doctrines.
Weaknesses: Lack of a mostly career force, commanders willingness to suffer losses for victory can cause issues in later years of a war.
