In response to Tristates, I think Mnar's Brahmastra is the closest thing to Akio mentally, but there is no one younger than 16 besides him. I was thinking either someone his age, or a girl slightly older. The girl because he's kinda cute, and no reason not to.

Seems a bit OP honestly. Could you please elaborate on his powers so that I can better judge his capabilities? Heads up: I'll probably ask you to dial his power down a bit.

I'm completely aware that he's over powered, he keeps his usage down to a utility asset when he needs to use one he'll most likely stick to talking with people, if everything goes down the drain than he'll whip up some magic and genuinely not step up the power above what he feels necessary. In essence he's more of when things get to the point of oh-shit scary he turns around and make the oh-shit scary thing run tail between legs. When the world's not about to be taken over or destroyed by whatever he's the friendly 'old' man who likes the occasional walk in the park and extensive, awe inspiring chitchats.

If need be I can have him killed (sniper shot's genuinely the way to take out a modren day wizard) IC.

Not even a competition. Honestly the only characters that could compete with Goku outside of Dragonball itself are all magical girls.

A better fight would be Son Goku vs Nanoha Takamachi.
