As a Note: I included my characters in your bio soley for the reason that they are well situated to assist in that manner as contractors, that it could open interesting future dialouge and events between them, and that it popped into my head at the last minute. If you would prefer no association, I can amend the history.

Bio:

The Ties That Bind

Holibel Tusha is a socialitle drop-out and all around troublemaker, schooled on the mean streets of [specified city] and among the darker corners of the world wide net. She was just beginning to make a name for herself when the world she knew ended. She learns her [brother/sister/bestfriend/boyfriend/girlfriend etc.] [insert wanted name], a [military rank, member designation] in the [specify national army, private military, gang, cartel, mafia etc.] has been killed. Following the funeral, Jerry is surprised to find 750,000 Yen in a discrete bank account funneled in from a non-descript source. Later she finds her [apartment, house, mansion, carboard box, etc.] filled with weapons, ammonium nitrate, classified government documents, and forged passports. She receives a phone call from a unknown woman who warns that the [specified international/national/military organization] is about to arrest her and she needs to run.

Disbelieving, Holibel is caught by the [specified international/national/military organization] and interrogated by [specified antagonist or anti-hero]. While [specified antagonist or anti-hero] confers with [specified international/national/military organization], the woman on the phone arranges for Holibel's escape and directs her to mercenaries Dr. Karl R. Kroenen & Jessica A. Toyoguchi from Lucky Strike Contract Services (L.S.C.S). The unknown woman coerces the L.S.C.S. employees into helping Holibel (under the monikor Zach Cortastros) escape by threatening to reveal Karl's and Jessica's whereabouts to the CIA, who have been wanted at large for the past 20 years. The unknown woman on the phone helps the two avoid the [specified international/national/military organization(s)], through the application of controlling networked devices. Everything from cameras and computers, to powerstations and national defense grids.

After a harrowing case across many a place, the three allies by chance are finally able to discover the identity of said woman is none other than [selected person in a position of extreme power], the head of the Millenium Group. A private group with intercontinental connections, but is solely controlled at the source, by [selected person in a position of extreme power], the woman who has been leading all of them on this whole time. She reveals that Zach's [brother/sister/bestfriend/boyfriend/girlfriend etc.] was a member of her organization, and that his untimely demise required a immedite filling of the position. And Zach was it.

In a fit of rage at being used, both Jessica and Zach manage to begin a fire fight in the Groups headquarters. In the midst of the conflict, Zach manages to kill [selected person in a position of extreme power]. After a pitched battle, bloodied and battered, Jessica, Kroenen, and Zach are the ones left standing.

While managing to decapitate the head, the leadership, of Millenium from the rest of the body, too much damage was done to the delicate complex for it to be salvaged in its entirety. Managing to take what she could, it would be enough to give Zach a good head start in the underground information/technology business. Parting ways with the Lucky Star Mercs on [good or bad] terms, we now begin the next chapter of this young womans story, and a new dawn rising over the year 2025

I am afraid that I am going to have to withdraw from this RP. I realize I didn't contribute much, but I just wanted to make it official. A few weeks ago I had plenty of spare time, but just last week did my history teacher start giving us a load of homework. Thanks for everything, despite how shortlived my activity was here. I might be able to come back in a few weeks, or something, but no promises. I would like to see this thrive, as it is a quite good RP.

Sorry for the long absence. RL happened.

Currently debating whether to keep my character or to make a new one (a police dog in London). What is your vote?

And don't worry, either will be more geared towards ranged combat from now on.

Just a formal announcement, so everyone can have a say directly.

Shout outs @ Aurelia, Arcadia and Kolvarti.

Would you guys be good if we got the ball rolling on the London Job? Since posting this, you all should have a fleshed out scripts on how the mission is to go. Of course, make any additions you guys feel should be added. I can have Lucky Stike in London and prepping by Thusday. If not, could you give me a ETA on how long to hold off? Thanks.

Ditto on that. I know I made some noise about a while back too, but RL ate my time.

What sort of characters do y'all think might suit the current story?

Some suits might be nice. We already have buku's of IT crime geeks, and Bourne-esque criminals

People representing the establishment would be nice (considering we only have two cops, both of which, have been silent on the IC front)

Hm. Investigators, huh? Private eyes and corporate suits, navigating the infinite cyber-jungle on the hunt for some of your 'runners?

What sort of interaction did you have in mind?

Depends.

Do you invision your guy a by the book white knight beacon to society? Or more I-am-the-hero-Gotham-needs-but-not-the-one-it-deserves vigilante types?

I imagine her as a cool, methodical investigator, one as in touch with the pulsing biz of Chiba's Night City as the cruel throb of the Sprawl's skyscraper canyons.

The cape and bat wings are entirely optional.

I don't know what those places are, but I'll take your word for it :p

Sounds very intriguing. Kinda like female Booker DeWitt.
