Genocide of the Mutiverse(Reboot/Sighups and OOC)

When the Universes were formed, barriers were created to keep them from contacting each other and to ensure that chaos cannot regain. These Universes harbor beings of all types. Some godlike, some weak, some between, but it was theorized that if they should ever meet then war would break out. All of these beings, however, originate from the Primeverse which contains all beings. Some are kept in the countless pocket dimensions, some in the actual Universe itself, and some in the Void. The Primeverse is in peace, though a war does rage. However, a Darkness Banshee called Genocide has gained the power to destroy the barriers and has slowly withered away the barriers. However, Genocide did not expect beings to be pulled into the Universes he and his kind plan on invading.With this surprise he plans on using them for his own goals. Expect, these beings still have free will. Can the beings put aside their difference to stop this madness? Or will an unstoppable Age of Shadow begin?

The story is about characters/factions(Custom, Fictional, Non-fictional) being dragged into this conflict to stop this godlike being. However, I am not saying you have to fight against Genocide. You could fight him, sit down and watch, or even join Genocide and become his puppet brave trooper. The story will focus on defeating Genocide in the various Universes he is attempting to invade, but players can create their own subplots. As for Universe selection there will be two stages, first one is Past, Present, Future, or Alternate. Alternate is a alternative Universe. For example, in Avatar: the Last Airbender the Avatar defeates the Fire Lord, but in an alterative version the Fire Lord defeats the Avatar and things are different. After that players will select a world that makes sense to the time era. There will also be a primary enemy to fight in each Universe, an example is Mass Effect Reapers. If they are defeated then Genocide will send a 'Universe Boss' to deal with them. Based on how powerful player characters are Genocide will buff the boss accordingly or do something interesting. For example in a boss Genocide might make you tiny forcing you to fight against a large boss or give the boss some extra firepower to its moves. After the Universe Boss is defeated then characters will be teleported to selected Universe.

Rules:
My word is law, with Co-ops being my second in command.
No godmodding. Metagaming isn't allowed unless I have approved it. Must be in OOC.
Power characters must have weaknesses.
Know when to lose
Factions have limited planet-destroying weapons. Must TG for use.
No killing player characters unless both parties have agreed to it. Both parties must also TG me about the agreement.
Do not kill vital NPCs.
Keep it PG-13, we don't need an mental image about two old aliens doing it.

Background:
For centuries now Genocide had been whacking away at the barriers with his armies. Finally the barriers are weak enough to cause holes and he plans on destroying every Universe, but what the Darkness Banshee did not expect was that other beings would be sucked up into the fray. He plans on using them to ensure his own goals and once the barriers are down chaos will arise. Only the Unity of the various beings can stop him.

Insanity and Night Terrors causes him to be less effective.
A Shadow Leech drains him of his energy if he uses his powers too much.

The Rising Phoenix was created during the weaning days of the Great War and was originally used as a city. However, the crew and occupants disappeared later found by the newly reformed United Species. The ship is a military/research vessel which is the size of Pluto. The races use many different tech levels ranging from swords to the all mighty Arcadia Bomb which makes black holes. They are also masters of genetic manipulation. However, the capital ship is not a warship and therefore cannot sustain much damage before certain parts are harmed. Therefore multiple fleets help keep it protected.

After learning that those affiliated with the project were being systematically murdered, Mercer attempted to flee the city with sample of his research contained in a vial. Cornered at Penn Station, Mercer smashed the vial and unleashed the deadly virus into the surroundings. This triggered a viral outbreak that eventually covered all of Manhattan Island. After awaking at a Gentek facility with no recollection of his past, Alex Mercer escaped the building, and soon discovered his new powers and abilities, granted by the virus he unleashed. He begins to utilize his powers to learn more of his fragmented past, as he scoured all of New York for those responsible.
Weaknesses: Electricity can stun him, and freezing him will render him immobile until he thaws.

Yoshi also seems to be able to take massive blows and fall great heights, with little to no damage. His tongue is sticky and very long and stretchy, and can be used as a makeshift rope.

Short backstory: Before the conquest, yoshi was a caretaker for the Legendary Plumbers mario and luigi. Then, Yoshi was living peacefully in Dinosaur Land in the mushroom Kingdom. Then everything changed when the Koopa Troop attacked. The yoshis, out gunned and outmatched, fled as bowser continued annexing and conquering the land. The certain Yoshi we have here is the Green yoshi, who was thrust into the conflict when a strange portal opened up in his sanctuary given by Bowser, and poor yoshi was left there, trying to figure out what was going on.
Weaknesses: Yoshi, while being able to withstand a lot, is physically weak. His attacks are considered pathetic by the rest of those God-people. Yoshi also is a multitasker, easily getting overwhelmed and such.
