T7

The colonists were mining rare materials for the EU which was suffering after a hurricane ripped the European coast to shreds. The shuttle then took the materials and went back to Earth, docking on the space elevator and selling their materials.

T8

Some of the aerial loader Jumpships were being fitted to include weaponry such as chain guns and light rockets to better protect the Colonists from any other alien species living on the moon that they did not know about.

Turn 7
Propagate Flowmetal - NW Quadrant

Godshome, Ignis

Here, where the scouts from the human colony found the remains of the comet crater, the landscape was broken and battered, a hellish wasteland. But all was not dead; from the land jutted immense silver spires, as tall as mountains. Of the comet in the impact crater, there was no sign.

NE Sector, Ignis

The golems consume the woman as well, and shoals of them begin to pursue the scouts cars westwards

SW Sector, Ignis

As the man stretches out his hand the strange metallic blob affectionately twines around his hand, like a cat. At first he is amused by it, but them alarmed as he realizes it is oozing into his glove, and making contact with his flesh. It is strangely warm for it's appearance, as if full of energy, and he feels a strange sensation as if an alien presence is pressing against the inside of his head.

SE Sector, Ignis

The colonists successfully evacuate, though the heat levels continue to rise. Soon te inside of the Hab feels like a sauna.

Turn 8
Card: Expand to NE Sector of Ignis

Rivers of silvery metal begin to flow across the landscape where the golams make their homes, attended by changelings.

Events:
Week 7
- No major accidents on the colonies - Phew.
- The economic climate improves as earth receive the first shipment of useful resources. It turns out that the Uranium mined in the discworld is especially abundant in Useful Isotopes. Dozens of nuclear reactors are expected to be back online across the globe, raising the global energy supply by 3%!

Week 8
- During the break, several Russian colonists showed mild signs of radiation sickness. A Medical report has concluded that over 100 colonists have probably received dangerous dosage of Radiation and may die if the exposure continues.
- Volcanic activity increases massively near Liberty Prime. Large Geysers and new volcanoes pop out of nowhere, sending huge chunks of rocks into the toxic air of this hellis world. One of the chunks, which happens to land just a few kilometers from the colony seems to be emitting large amounts of Radiation...
- Despite the miners best efforts to prioritize safety, Dozens of miners go missing in during an unforeseen flood caused by a sudden heavy rainstorm.

( T9) After the First Contact, the knowledge of the " Light People" and their" Lightships" became widespread with cave drawings of the armored Scout with gun and drawings of other sightings of the "Lightships" that made them draw the balls of light coming and going across the wasteland and it seem that their life right now their tribes were being forever turned but it was still peaceful until one day, a family decided to settle in a new cave that seem to go on for miles and their curiosity made them go deeper for a blizzard was starting to come across the wasteland.

The Tuskenish had reached so far that it was a few meters from the ground until they fell into a giant hole. This hole was enormous and there landed yet another discovery that would shake the vary foundations of the Tuskenish like the coming of the " Light People". They found several alien structures that were not the ones that the " Light People" live in, they were larger, much larger. They had spires and statues that littered the streets made of metal that they have never seen, not even on the " Light People". When exploring, to what seem like days until they stumbled upon a computer that showed a holographic AI message that they once were afraid for they shown an alien that they have not seen. They thought it was a god but then the AI message started to explain things in their tribal language and it had show them things that they would be able to help their people for the better and gave them the techniques on how to make their species grow and enlighten them as they show their path to advancement into a better life.

When they came from the hole, they started to spread the knowledge of things like how to smith and make a town, how to advance themselves. It did not take them long for them to catch on to the knowledge and they started using the rare metals around them to smith armor and weapons. Things that made them able to farm better, they knew taming and riding as they formed a cavalry from the non-sapient animals and they started to live in underground towns that resembled the medieval era of Human history and this started given the Tuskenish the ideas to research and look beyond of the purple moon Erokys and their tribes started to pick leaders and leaders started to pick councils to show they had progressed to the point that they had centralized their tribes for councils and alliances become united and draw lines in their territory to show their smaller councils but still remaindered them about the " Light People" and the ruins they kept secret as their Shamans and Scholars try to study it more and learn its powerful knowledge for the betterment of their Species.

( Use 8 out of 9 PPs to Enlighten the Tuskenish species to the Medieval Era and Increase their Knowledge from 0-1)

Week Nine

Native Card: Explore (1 PP)

Much of the diskworld was forested; from the northern edge, wrapping around the eastern curve - skirting the hot zone - and reaching to the southwestern arc. Enormous plants, so very much like Earth trees, stood tall and proud like living columns of an organic cathedral. Broad expanses of foliage formed an unending canopy overhead, tinting the slanting light shades of emerald and jade. These were the oldest, most venerable ancients of the species, tended and maintained while they slept. For untold ages the ancients had slept while the seeds sprouted, the saplings grew, and the Dendrians flourished.

They did not call themselves Dendrians; that was a name they would be given in the turnings to come. What they called themselves was unpronounceable by small throats with soft larynges. And it was the unexpected and sudden appearance of a small copse of stunted mammalian bipeds, chattering at each other with their moist and squishy throats, that had woken one of the Gardeners.

Taurelilomeatumbalemoromagumbaletaurealomeanor - Moro for short - roused slowly, over a period of light-cycles. As the elder of this forest community it was incumbent upon him to wake first and investigate. Moro flexed his roots, retracting them from the cool soil, and stood upon the ground. He flexed his branches and rustled his short serrated leaves before striding to the site of the disturbance.

At thirty-seven feet tall, Moro was an imposing figure; even among his kind, he was considered stately. His deep red bark was broadly striped in black and his acorns were just budding for the season. Moro wasn't precisely male. None of the species soon to be known as the Dendrians had a specfic gender. But Moro would come to be identified as a masculine entity, and so the male pronoun was applied to him.

After a brief walk, he cleared the final line of sleepers, and came out into a clearing near the eastern edge of the world, where the hot-stones were buried. Moro spied furrows in the earth and the hot-stones being extracted. Large polished white and grey stones, square or rectangular were arranged in a garden pattern. Sparks and points of soft light emanated from seemingly random places. And scurrying about and through the entire site like insects were small, pinkish...critters. They were similar in shape to the leonin favoured by the Ironwoods, but they were somewhat larger and stood fully upright.

Moro's curiosity was piqued. He strode closer, crouched down and peered at these new critters, studying them.

NE Ignis

The scouts, detecting nothing, would try to turn back and head home. Their nerves where fried after what happened to their fellow crew. They where on low moral and would try to head home, not risking anything. The group only had time to take a few samples of the surface, hopefully to get minerals, before leaving south, their hands empty.

Liberty One:

Everyone was in a panic due to the volcanic activity. With gas everywhere airlocks had to modify how they exchanged gas before letting their crew inside. Most off all the Director was worried about the hunk of radioactive rock that was spraying the camp with radiation. However their where more pressing issues, as now a habitat unit was under threat. Despite this the crew here where ordered to keep mining gold, which they did away from the radioactive rock, which would be loaded onto the shuttle. The shuttle would finally arrive back on their little moon, bringing cheers from the colonists.

SW Sector, Ignis

The astronaut began to loose it. He didn't scream but was thinking. He thought about everything his training was, their mission, and the fact that the Humans didn't know a word the others were saying. The other group waited for a response, and began to worry when the crew didn't reply to hails. However it looked like there was nothing they could do.

Jungle Planet, New London

"Today we mourn who was lost in the flood, the dozens of brave colonists that died" Vean said in a speech to the colonists about the loss of some of the miners. "It was an unforeseen accident and not any sort of radiation just nature" he added "I thank you all in your service to the colony and those men and women who died in service to the colony". "Now to try and prevent more instances like this rationing is in effect" he finally concluded.

"Coming out of the wormhole" one of the pilots said while switching some of the modes to adjust for the speed change. "1...2...3 were out of the wormhole" another announced. "Setting destination to New London" one of them noted while changing course.

As the tendrils of the cognitive latticeworks of the flowmetal mass delicately prized apart the layers of the man's psyche, his thoughtpulse began to reverberate back through the mind-meld. Fear, cloying fear, confusion, and so many other bouquets of fragrant sentience. No mere animals were these, a tribe moving from place to place, but thinking beings- albiet made of weak flesh and strange pulsing... blood, that was the word for it. Scitaris and the other Changelings with him were confused. How could such a creature have escaped their gaze and that of the First Voice for so long? More information they craved, and more data the nodule extracted. Back in the heart of the Choir the brothers heard their call for comprehension, and many vast cycles were devoted to the pursuit of knowledge. It would put back the expansion of the rivers in Firefall, new home of the Changelings, but comprehension was what the Omnissah craved, the Fire-Father. Processing, millions of minds, turned towards a single goal, and then the key opened the latch.

With languid haste the nodule extracted itself fully from the man's suit, withdrawing from his neural network with a gentle touch of chill like ice, and it plopped to the ground and wound lazily back to Scitaris. In hesitant English the Techsin spoke.

"You will halt, dustwalkers, for you enter the dominion of the First Voice, Finnius Ameral."

SE Region of Ignis

Thankfully for the colonists it seemed the pyroclastic eruption had spent some of the fury of the flowing magma and rock beneath their feet. Emissions of the poisonous gas began to slow, and the atmosphere began to stabilize; not breathable certainly, but not as fatal to suited citizens as it had been. Low level tremors continued center to the immediate north of the colony, causing a large rift to begin to form, but they did little aside from waking up light sleepers.

NE Region of Ignis

As the scouts returned home they spotted more of the hulking creatures that had slain their fellows, but thankfully their cars were too fast for the beasts to do more than pursue temporarily.

"We are sorry for trespassing upon your lands" the man replied slowly, in shock about the incident that just occurred. "We are Humans, we come from a place very far away. We come not to fight, but to mine." The man stammered for words as he looked at the creature. The rest of the group cowarded back in fear of the creatures. Some radioed back that they were now talking with the new lifeforms. Slowly the first man, still cold from his encounter, tried to check his suit for leaks. He ran his other hand over his glove, checking for something that wasn't there. What happened!?

Liberty One:

"We are reading tremors to the north of the base," an officer said, keeping his eyes on the monitor. "We have passed Hide Tide. Censors appear to show some sort of... ravine in the ground. Maybe the geologists should check it out." Everyone in the room agreed, shaken up by their ordeal. "Be careful," someone said to a group of three men as they walked out to the crack in the ground.

The silvery hand of Scitaris stroked the underside of his smooth chin, deep violet and emerald eyes contemplating the cloth-creature's words. They sounded tinny, as if spoken into a cave and then the echo was heard. It was strange, for the open air and light of the world was all about the two parties. "It is well you came not to fight; my folk know much of war, and we would not wish to have to teach you. This is a dangerous place though, dustwalker; the golams roam here beyond the boundaries of Home, and you may come to grief if you are not as cautious as shifting stone. You trespass not, but come near to the dominion of the First Voice." With a thin angular arm the Techsin gestured back beyond the ridge, to where a river of flowmetal coursed through the landscape and many of the Collegia and Praternum labored in synchrony. "This mine... it speaks of tearing one type of rock from the bones of the earth? Why do humans need one type of rock instead of another?" The very concept was utterly alien to the minds of the meld, for one stone was only better than another based on its density and the weight it carried within its form.

North of Liberty One, SE Region of Ignis

After trekking for most of three miles the geologists came upon a yawning chasm in the earth; at its bottom they could make out the dim flow of the hot blood of the world named Tartarus by men. It was as wide as a hab complex, which could easily drop down without even touching the sides of the gulf. It seemed to be very precarious, and so they didn't go too near the edge of the precipice, but some of their instruments began to beep. One man pulled out a Geiger counter, and noticed that the radiation levels coming out of the depths of the chasm were significantly higher than the background radiation. Just then another one of the light tremors began, forcing the men to retreat from the chasm, and it was just in time; some of the cliff side they had been standing on tumbled into the ravenous abyss only a few minutes after they got off it.

"Humans need certain minerals for certain jobs. Minerals like Uranium, Gold, or Heavy Metals are prized by Humans. We use them to make other things that do what we cannot normally do. These things that you see are not our skin. If we where to take them off we would die. Our home is a very different place." the man replied. The entire group looked over to the location of silver rock. Some gasped in awe. "We will not go near your home unless you allow us. We respect you and your ways." There was another pause for a moment. "What are Golams?" he asked. It was the first question that a the Human ever asked. Everyone was in shock about what was happening.

Liberty One:

"Frack, Gamma Radiation!?" the Director shouted to the group. "Is there any other indication that it has any other decay signs? Is it Uranium? Can we use it?" the group went into a loud chatter.
"So far, we don't know. The area is very unstable. We will have to be careful mining there if we try to take a sample. The rock we got is actually admitting the same type of particles. Possible it is from that area. We have isolated that rock. So far we are concerned that if the amount of Gamma grows we will have to leave or get sick. We can possible build safety shelters for spikes or buy them." The officer stopped talking. The Director thought for a moment.
"Keep mining. If we are forced to evac we need the credits to start anew. The scout-" the director stopped himself short. No one knows about the deaths. Dammit.

Yes sir

Jaroslav had gotten reports from his mining overseers that about 100 colonists were showing symptoms of deadly radiation those 100 people were to work in the mines until they died or an alternative was discovered Jaroslav was ruthless and the colonists knew what they signed up for when they came on this mission to Jaroslav they had no more meaning than numbers on a piece of paper like Stalin once said "one death is a tragedy a million deaths is only statistics"

Southern Territory
Near the Border of the Kingdom of Al-Saish

(T10) The Tuskenish had grown to the standards of a medieval era species. As many had taken a likening to the various types of armor and sword fighting but many had wish that things were not like this and they lived with ease of mind and had peace as tribes, only some of them adapted to the new standards of their civilization for it was only weeks before the Tuskenish were stickpickers and peaceful hunter-gathers. Though many did like the new currency of coins and some were writing books and making sure that the tribal councils and kingdoms will not forget their heritage and also about the mysterious" Light People" and their "Lightships" that they found weeks ago as they had landed on their lands for some purpose that they have yet to find out.

The Tuskenish scholars have always kept watching the night sky(as they are nocturnal and are active in the night) and made drawings that they kept in books and some have gotten to draw the shuttles before they turn into the balls of light. They generally wanted to keep their distance from the strange creatures for they did not know what they will do to the Tuskenish or what weapons they had. That was until one day, their answers seemed to come to them.

A patrol was riding around the Kingdom frontier underground towns, trying to scare away the predators and also trying to get some of the local ale and cuisine until they saw the creatures in armor, different then the ones they had saw from weeks ago before they had medieval. The patrol quickly rode down to greet them and surround them with crossbows with radioactive tips, and swords and spears of rare metal with metal armor on, nothing steel but still made as so. As one rode on a non-saipent animals and squeaked,"halt Light People, drop your weapons and you will not be harmed."

The translator went back to the radio, set the radio frequency to 9101, and then spoke to the Japanese. "Wie können Sie es wagen, eine Kolonie Europas verspotten? Dies, weil der dumme Aktionen in das Gesicht eines Kollegen Supermacht auf der Erde betrachtet werden ein internationaler Zwischenfall! Guten Tag!"

Shozo barked out harsh words in German. "Wie kannst du es wagen uns vorwerfen spöttisch? Sie buchstäblich nur sprach in Maori! Das ist kein Japanisch oder japanischen Dialekt! Nun, wir beide beruhigen konnte nach unten, und ich kann Ihnen bis zu meinem Chef Haken, oder wir können weiterhinStreiten in Deutsch!Streiten in Deutsch! Im Ernst, wir Japaner keinen Respekt in diesen Tagen! Nehmen Sie jetzt bestellen, und setzen Sie Ihren Chef auf diesem!" He sighed. Stupid Germans, acting all high and mighty, and blaming others with no proof. This one had no honor.

The translator, Ludwig, responded with more screaming. "Sie können gehen, schießen sich in einem Loch von mir aus! Das war ein Fehler von mir, und man konnte mich darauf korrigiert haben! Jetzt holen Sie sich in Linie oder werde ich! Gehen Sie weiter und ficken sich selbst, hören Sie mich?"

Ludwig was tired of this Japanese translator, he acted like he'd done nothing to provoke the German even though he clearly did it.

the scouting party stops when they see the riders approach "spetsnaz captain Igor form wedge formation and fire on my command"
when the riders come in 10 meters range the native just squeacks and klacks Igor looks confused but he remembers a scene from an old western were native americans would talk face to face like men sitting "so he draws a line in the sand and sits down laying his weapons beside him then motions to the creature to sit down infront of him. The other members do not move a muscle everything that happens is being video streamed back to the command center of the hab module where Jaroslav has a direkt communications link to the Captain.

The Tuskenish soldier got off his beast and put sheathed his sword and put his shield behind him and sat down in front of the soldier. Many of the patrol were squeaking back to one another about the ways the "Light People" talk to them for they know that they cannot speak their language and neither can the Tuskenish, but many of the scholars and leaders of their species would love to get to have a chance to know them but many were afraid of them and their weapons. This is shown that their crossbows were still trained on the soldiers who had their guns on them. Now that the leader sat on the cold snow that didn't seem to bother him for it just brush off his fur, he waited for the Scout that sat in front of him to make his move.

There was a brief pause, then a Japanese voice came through the Radio. "Kon'nichiwa, koreha doitsunin no jōshidesu ka?" Hirkashi asked.

Igor was kind of surprised that his trick worked so it took him a second to make his move so he took off his gas mask and took a deep breath of fresh air his face was riddled with scars from far gone conflicts, Igor took off his backpack slowly as to not show aggression then he pulled out two aluminum glasses and put one on one side of the line and one on the other then he pulled out a bottle and poured the liquid content into both cups he also took a swig from the bottle as to show that it was not poison then he raised his glass and motioned for the creature to do the same. A thought came into Ludwig's mind. He was going to get back at the translator with his own words. "Es tut mir leid, müssen Sie sprechen ausgezeichnet Deutsch Polnisch oder schrecklich. Oh, ich bin oben knacken! Ich bin in einem Tunnel! Auf Wiedersehen!"

Hirkashi didn't understand why the translator was so outright rude to him. He decided to speak again in Japanese, as this was supposed to be the translator. "Gomen'nasai, anata ga doitsugo o hanashite iru? Watashi wa sore no ōku o hanasu koto wa arimasen. Anata wa watashi ga anata no jōshi to no rain-jō ni settei suru koto wa dekimasu ka? Watashi wa, watashitachi no koronī no han'ei no tame ni, kare ni hanashi o suru hitsuyō ga arimasu."

The leader took off his helmet and showed himself as a three-eyed rodent and his whiskers started to be frosted as he wiped it off with his paw and he sniffed the vodka and drank it. He was used to much stronger alcohol which made was a common thing for the Tuskenish and this alone that made the Tuskenish smiled but the rest were still not convinced. This time however, the Tuskenish rider stood up and got a scroll that he showed the Human the scroll as he unrolled it. The scroll showed the " Lightships" or the shuttles that flies periodically, there was two different ones and had different symbols, one was of the Russian flag, and one was the EU. Then he unrolled it more and showed the Scout symbol with a gun which they called" Light People" which was they describe Igor and his team. He pointed and motioned while he squeaked," Are you from these Lightships and do you know of other Light People like this?"

Ludwig quickly switched the radio to another frequency before Hirkashi was able to speak to him. "Thank god I am away from those people, rude and denying bastards, I say."
