The rodents were surprised to see the Humans, the creatures that came from the sky in the ball of light. They saw the Scout as it was shouting in a language they don't know of but he had a gun, and was shouting that the confusing may them cower in fear of the mighty steel guns they had and that this was far more then just a light that fell from the heavens. They tried to speak in different tones of squeaks, trying to tell them who they were or what they were, but it would seem fruitless as they were afraid of death and the man that was shouting at them. They started squeaking and pushing one of them towards the person who only scurry pack into the group. They were only children in the Tuskenish standard age and tribal culture. Though they didn't expect this to happen, and already they could see the many waves of confusion and anger from the Human's face.

T6

The ship moved through the empty darkness until they encountered the wormhole. They moved through the wormhole into Earthspace away from the wormhole untl they encountered Earth.

Jungle Moon

Vean organized 200 men each to explore a section of the moon. Some of them might not come back but it was necessary to send back the data they found. They though were untrained had simple guns, some vehicles, and testing tools. The rest of the colony however was recalled from mining to ration energy temporarily until the shuttle comes back.

T 5
It was decided that mining was to continue as planned all 1000 colonists were a part of the mining effort. Jaroslav also ordered that proximity sensors were to be installed around basecamp and if anything large as dog walked in its proximity the colony would have about 5 minutes to respond to any threat now at the end of the week the shuttle crew loaded the 4 tons of raw materials.

T 6
Jaroslav ordered that mining efforts were to continue so a new batch of ore was mined till the end of the week, the shuttle launched into the atmosphere and continued home they made it through the wormhole and docked with the space elevator they are expected home in two weeks

OOC Changes:
T 5
2 tons of rare materials mined
4 tons of rare materials were loaded onto the shuttle by ship crew

T 6
2 more tons of rare materials were mined
Since the shuttle has two action points it went into space 1AP then through the wormhole 1AP and docked with the space elevator which is free of AP did I get that right?

As the billowy cloth creatures swirled about like a shoal of nieflung before him, Scitaris was modestly amused, then happily surprised. One of the beings held up a hand in the same manner as him; it was strange, for within the Choir such actions signified a hostile gesture, to mark territory or tell another consciousness to back off. But the Changeling got the impression the man did not mean such a rude thing with his gesture- not to mention it made no sense in context, as this most certainly wasn't the cloth-creature's territory. The creatures did not sing, but garbled back and forth between their forms like grinders, and that put the Techsins with Scitaris on edge. Some flicked the heaters on their slugthrowers, preparing to scythe down the foes if necessary. Nobody in the ranks of the party could understand their muttering, but Scitaris had an idea; he held out his hand towards the being with its hand up raised, and a glob of essence separated from his arm, rolling towards the man.

Down into the earth the first explorer was dragged, his life fading in his veins, skin going white with shock and blood-loss. After a few minutes he expired completely, and the great magma beast threw his corpse into a long trough of quarried stone. From the halls and tunnels around the crag more of the rocky creatures appeared, and with a burble volcanic slag began to fill the channel. It burned and burned, and soon his body was no more than hydrocarbons in a slurry with the igneous extrusion, which the golams spooned into their mouths of fire with apparent relish. Many of their eyes glowed brighter, and then they stomped away along the tunnel the first creature had come from, back towards the expedition. The other woman was grabbed and her helmet dashed open by a rock fist, her precious air leaving suddenly, her lungs gasping. As she flailed like a fish, dying at the end of a line, the immense beast carried her too back towards the crag.

The man stood still and positioned his arm like the creature coming before him. He was utterly scared, and stood their partly because of shock and the other because he didn't want to give the animals a reason to attack if he moved suddenly. Inside of the EVA car one of the fellow astronauts where finally patched through to the speakers on the car. Grabbing a tablet computer and stylus he ran out to the first member of his team. He furiously swiped through the tablets applications until he found a file on Voyager 1. More exact, it was the Golden Record. Or at least a picture of it. He held it out the the creatures and spoke through coms "We are Humans, representing the Planet Earth." He emphasized the we part my gesturing out to the entire group, and then pointing at the photo of a man and a woman, naked, on the tablet. "Human," he said again.

The group of remaining scouts would keep retreating from their attackers. Checking their missing crew vital signs they knew one of their fellows where dead. Judging by the read outs before he died, it was no doubt a terrific death. The group radioed back to base to report on the situation, and fell back, their moral blown.

Back at the sight of the encounter the Woman was dying another terrible death. The temperature fluctuations burn and cooled her exposed skin while she suffocated in the poison gas. She only had moments to live. She tried to scream out in pain but it only caused more damage to her mouth. She was a dead woman.

Tartarus, Liberty One:

"Get them out of there!" yelled one of the crew who was assigned to monitor the tides of the planet. "We have a heat flare under Habitat C-1, i repeat, evac Habitat C-1!" The transmission was sent to the inhabitants of the module to put on whatever they could and get the heck out of there. Within a minute three where out but another two where still inside, desperately trying to put on their space suits.

Jungle Moon

The explorers sent South and East of the colony found only jungle, jungle and more jungle. The only break from it was the huge ocean that covered most of the Eastern hemisphere. The only divide between the two was small beaches. In some parts of the coastline, the jungle extended out, then there was simply a sheer cliff down to the waves crashing against the rocks. They found smaller deposits of minerals and valuables, but nothing major. The most interesting they would've fond would've been a large mountain range in the south of the planet. This mountain range was covered in jungle on the lower half, but of you looked at them from a distance, it would appear that the jungle just stops at a certain height.

But, those who went north found something quite different. While it was still mostly jungle, the trees were much wider and a hell of a lot taller. Their branches twisted and turned and crossed over, and were very thick. They looked as if one could run across them, if you had the agility and balance required for such a feat. As the explorers moved through the jungle, little did they know, they were being watched. Watched from the trees and branches. When one of the explorers stepped forward, as normal, when suddenly something wrapped around his leg, and pulled him upwards, leg first.

Explorers North

"****" one of the explorers yelled " while grabbing one of the guns they were allowed to bring (just a small sidearm) he yelled at one of the others "Joey radio team B we have contact!". "Yes sir" Joey yelled quickly setting up communications while also grabbing a gun. The explorer fired a shot into the the tree to try to get a sound from what made contact.

Jungle Moon

The watchers in the trees continued observing the actions of these explorers. When one of them fired a shot, it startled the Illu. But, after about 10 seconds they settled down, and continued watching the invaders. They decided not to attack, but were constantly talking to each other mentally. The Illu shared this link, which allowed them to communicate telepathically. Go - warn the chief of these invaders One of the Illu ran back through the trees, making a noise that could only have been heard if the jungle was silent and one listened very carefully. But, this was not the case as all the colonists were moving around, leaning against trees and generally making a lot of noise.

When the runner made it through the branches back to the village, he run into the chief's hut. It was essentially the main communal building of the village, and it was also where the chief lived. The chief was only in charge of events that occurred within the village and it's surrounding jungle - the Tribal Elders were in charge of the general actions of the Illu as a species. When the runner entered the hut, the chief was in conversation with a few other village members, but the speaking stopped when the messenger entered. "I see you." The messenger said, bowing his head to the chief. This was a common greeting between the Illu, and it referenced to the telepathic link they had as a species. "Chief, there have been invaders. They come with tools and garments and other metal things. One was caught in our hunting trap, but the others are now scared. They do not know we are watching them however.
"Good. Go back to the scouts and continue watching the invaders. If they find out about you watching them, and begin to attack you - come back to the village - all of you. Thank you, brother." The Chief bowed his head, and the messenger did the same, before leaving. After the runner had left, the chief addressed one of the others in the hut.
"Go. Tell the elders. They should know of this." The man nodded, before leaving. Word quickly spread of these invaders, throughout the tribes and eventually reached the Elders. They decided to let the humans act first. If they struck out at the Illu, they would strike back, but peace and negotiations was preferred. Perhaps they could help each other. They could teach these invaders how to hunt and live on their world, and the invaders could teach the Illu about themselves and their ways.

Turn 6

Before they were informed of the invaders, the Tribal Elders had decided to expand their villages southwards. They were considering which side to focus on - east or west, but the news of the invaders coming from the east made them decide to go west. The way the Illu constructed their huts and villages meant that their settlements rarely got very big - the only settlement they had that was much bigger than a village was the Tree of Unity. This was essentially the Capital of the Illu tribes, and was where the Tribal Elders lived and met. This was a huge tree - the biggest on the whole moon, inside of which the Illu had made their home. They lived within the trunk, and there was a large village around the tree in the canopy layer that had bridges and such going to the tree. Villages were built all across the western part of the moon, all the way up to the sea. They stopped building close to the large mountain range that stretched across the southern part of the moon.

Illu Actions:

Jungle Moon, Radioed Order

"There have been orders for all Explorers to retreat back into the colony due to first contact we are not alone, once arriving at the colony the draft is over ".

New London

"Sir we got the info from the tests and explorers" one of the colonists said to Vean. "Good send it through to the EU scientists and send the news of the first contact through to them as well" Vean replied. "Yes sir" the colonist said as he ran back to the network center in the colony center. Vean then proceeded to radio "do not attack any lifeforms on sight only if they attack you" this was to be sure a shoot on sight didn't start hostile relations with the first contact species.

New Scotland

The scout began to become annoyed at their failure to understand him, so he ordered two other scouts to go over to the rodents and try to tell them what they were. "Sir, I don't want to go over to those disgusting creatures." "Well, you're going anyway. I don't care." The scouts cautiously walked over to the rodents with their guns raised. "Frank, what do we say to those guys?" "I don't know! Just spout random words and hope they'll understand us!" "Wait, it looks like they communicate by squeaking."

The scout then began to squeak.

They hope that their message came to the scout that was squeaking back and try to get some hope into try to tell them that they come in peace and were curious, but it seem that curiosity may be more then they barging for.

Hirkashi watched the Men as they mined for Uranium. They had done the scans, and the experts said that this was a Uranium hotspot. This would be good. Unless, of course, somebody got too much exposure. Still he had to think positive. They were the only colony he knew of on the main planet. The other colonies chose the surrounding Moons. Suddenly, he was broken out of his thoughts by a tapping on his shoulder. He looked back, and a young girl, no older then 10, was there. She wore a Blood-Red Dress, had Dark black flowing hair, and squeezed a toy Bear. "Can I sit next to you?" She squeaked out in a high pitched voice. Hirkashi nodded and moved over. "My parents are working here." She burst out. "I hope they don't get hurt." Hirkashi nodded. "Don't worry, we will have the rocks out by the end of the day, and be shipping them back home. Nobody will get hurt." He said. The Girl nodded. "My name is Akusa." She said shyly. "I am Hirkashi." Hirkashi said with a smile. Akusa nodded. "Everybody already knows who you are. You're the boss." At that, Hirkashi laughed. Soon, enough Uranium was out to appease the bosses back home, and they began loading it up.

(T6)
The colonists loaded up all the Uranium, piece by piece. It was dangerous work, but necessary. Something had to earn them money, after all. Hirkashi walked around with the Girl. "I'm hungry." She said, all of a sudden. "Go get back to your parents then." Hirkashi said. The Girl nodded, then ran over to her parents. Hirkashi chuckled, then walked back to his house, where he went to bed and fell asleep. Then, he only barely heard as the Shuttle lifted off and blasted towards the Wormhole.

Radio operators were tuning into different channels to see if they all worked, when they tuned into frequency 9101, they heard a foreign language being spoken. "What is this? We have to get the translator here." 3 minutes later, the translator arrived and listened. "This is Japanese, men. I will speak back to them."

"Kon'nichiwa! Watashi wa, kono wakusei ni, ōshūrengō (EU) no ensei kara kimashita! Wareware wa, pāpuru tsuki no azuma ni ichi shite imasu!"

The speaker on the other end said. There was a bit of a pause, then Lightly-accented English came through the line. "Hello, this is Shozo. I am a representative of the Japanese colony. According to the other guy, you were speaking either excellent Maori, or horrible Japanese. Personally, I suggest you get a better Translator." Shozo said. He sighed. Must be some guys on Earth with the wrong frequency. After all, nobody would contact them out here, in this boring post... Right?

The word" ship" was pretty much unheard of for they lived in caves and underground holes where they can survive in the wasteland. In truth they match the word" light" with " ship" and made" lightship, which was their version of the spaceships that the strange creatures came on, but when the third moon reach its zenith, it was time for them to go. One of them squeaked to the Scout" We have to go, its our bed time and we need to go to our parents and the Shaman." They got on all-fours and started to run like a rat and went away from the village and dug a hole in the snow and one of them waved good-bye as they went into the hole and cover it up and sealed the entrance and their path in case the snow got through and it became a norm that their people do.

Earth System:

The NAAFTA Shuttle arrived to unload its wares of gold. With it where more stories then anything else. The talk of Life on their new world was on everyone lips. Stone men of lava was the news spread to the people of Earth. We where not alone. The Liberty One colonists were eager to see a new face and use the new fancy elevator. The group of scientists that where hitch hiking where also asked if they wanted to investigate this new life.

Back at the colony the Scouts, who where on a mission, took a detour around the monsters who killed their two crew. They continued on their mission to find the meteorite that crashed on their moon. After a week of traveling they found the comet and began to investigate.

Earth Space elevator

"Ugh" one of the workers on the space elevator complained "these boxes are heavy". "Seriously you do this for a living" the other argued. "Yeah but the loads I have had weren't as heavy as this" the one complained still. "Whatever" the other said while grabbing another box.

"So that'll be arranged" one of suppliers said while typing on a keyboard "your transaction is all set and you'll need to stay for a week to unload and load. "Good we need those supplies" one of the shuttle's crew said.

"Yes I know you aren't exactly happy about the rationing but we need to keep you safe from the Uranium" Vean said to one of the colonists. "Oh it's fine we were mining it before and nothing happened" the colonist said. "Yes I know but still it isn't safe and we need to ration energy until we can set up the solar module we're getting" Vean replied. "Fine" the colonist said miffed.

"Preparing to leave Earth Space Elevator" one of the pilots announced flipping on switches checking numbers that sort of thing. "Cargo in Bay" another announced. In a couple days they entered the wormhole.

"Ok fine I'll stop rationing the energy but you won't thank me if you get hurt or die" Vean said to a colonist. Vean then turned to a radio and spoke into it saying "Everyone ration is over proceeded to mining some Uranium very carefully, if you have to sacrifice a unit of Uranium for extra caution that is fine".

Colony
Back on the colony the colonist were mining more rare materials as usual they would have 4 tons ready for when the shuttle arrived.

Shuttle
the shuttle docked with the space elevator and traded it's rare materials it was sold for 28 Bc the shuttle had been ordered to buy one mining module one solar power module and a scout company there were also 200 colonists ready to leave for the Colony but there was no place yet for them in the colony they were requested to return next time. there were also special orders from Jaroslav that were to be forwarded to High command the order contained a recording of the alien transmission with a request for further orders and advice on what to do in a first contact situation. After getting the instructions from high command and all the modules and scouts were onboard the shuttle the shuttle would take off next week.

Colony
the colony got the day off from mining in order to reserve energy and this had a nice moral boost on the colonists they had been working for a couple of weeks now and they were tired but they were promised a proper mining module that would save them alot of trouble in the future

Shuttle
the shuttle just made it through the wormhole one more week and they would be home

OOC/Changes:

"Oy, Tsuyoi, we are here."
Tsuyoi looked up. "Cool, Kirito. Let's plunge through it. We can't delay delivering the cargo, after all." Kirito nodded, and plunged through the Wormhole.

The Colonists were walking over to mine yet more Uranium. "Heh, at this rate, we will have TOO MUCH Uranium!" One Miner said. Hirkashi laughed and patted his shoulder. "Let's get mining. We need to have enough when they get back. I don't want any interruptions." He walked back to his house, stopping at a store along the way to buy some manga for Akusa.

Kirito and Tsuyoi dropped the Boxes on Uranium into the Space Elevator. "An honest day's work, eh, Tsuyoi?" Kirito panted. Tsuyoi, exhausted, simply nodded. "Last one back to the controls has to buy all the beers!" Kirito laughed, suddenly running.

Tsuyoi, of course, won.
