Brazil wasn't colonized by the Spaniards. Only the usual nations. Not sure who did colonize Brazil because that's a valuable territory and Portugal should really keep it.

@Kryskov -- I apologize for posting the application code -- I thought it would allow us to flesh out the names and details before spamming the OOC with 20 million chatty questions and comments and 'hey, want to trade?' before anything's solidified. However, I do not have access to the GOOF OP account, so I do not know who edited the title of the last thread to be OOC.

I'd say something like "The Celestial Empire of -INSERT DYNASTY NAME HERE-" since I gave up the title.
Or you could just use "Great -DYNASTY NAME-" like the Qing did.

No.

Edit: South American countries are barely ex-colonies themselves. They don't have the manpower or infrastructure to start sending people overseas themselves.

Edit 2: @South American people, please consider other reservations while making your own -- multiple people have conflicting claims at the moment.

The current Imperial Court would find our friendship profitable, but I cannot guarantee that forever.

My idea is that my nation (composing what is left of Indonesia, Chile) is the remnants of the once super power state known as Majapahit which ruled Indonesia, Indochina and established colonies in the new world. The idea is that Gajah Mada, instead of falling into disgrace continues his campaigns to unite Indonesia, which are successful, and over the years they expand and finally launch explorers who find the new world. Building a colony in Chile but over the years there power declines and they are like the "sick old man" of Asia.
