The people who are eligible to vote (age 18) elect 240 representatives to serve in the Parliament for 10-year terms. Instead of serving for single districts, the representatives serve the entire nation. As a result, it is common for the average Bulgarian to have an aptitude for politics. The Tsar serves as the Patriarch of the Bulgarian Orthodox Church, which also serves as the judicial branch of the government. If laws are deemed illegal by biblical law, the Church will rule the law void. However, if a law is deemed illegal or unconstitutional, the Tsar will dissolve the Parliament and call for new elections. The Prime Minister is elected by the Parliament, the winner is usually from the Parliament as well.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Since the government spends nearly 10 percent of it's GDP on the military, the military is an important part of Bulgarian life. One of the main strengths of the BDF (Bulgarian Defense Forces) is it's defensive and counter-offensive measures. Under the policies of Simeon II, the BDF has refrained from any offensive operations. The main objective of the BDF is to protect Bulgaria and her allies. The Krali Marko defensive line is the pride and joy of the nation, it borders Romania, Turkey, Serbia. The nation uses it's border with the Black Sea to train it's extensive Navy, which patrols it's waters with a vigilance as it is surrounded by communism on all sides. History of your Nation: Essentially the same as real life. With the exception being that Xiaoping did not stray from Maoism as he did irl. He worked closely with the Eight Elders of the original Chinese Red Revolution in maintaining the Maoist thought, all the meanwhile modernizing the People's Republic as times changed throughout the international community.
Population of entire nation: help with this please too. I don't know where to find numbers for 83, I've looked.
