Huh, even though I had Gryffindor as the highest option on Agatha's app, I'm trying to figure out if she should be a Gryffindor or a Slytherin....

That House Sorting quiz that I posted for you guys to figure out what house you were in doesn't seem to work anymore :( . Because it was more "thorough", it was my favorite....

Wand Type:Ebony with Dragon Heartstring. 13 1/4"
Blood-status:pure
Family:Hector Candice and Jeremy
Personality:Dark and mysterious. Very mellow though.
Appearance:
History:Jennifer is the last of the Bartlebys. She is the most reclusive and the most secretive. A natural fit for Slytherin her parents said. By her time it was not a surprise that she was separate from her siblings. She quickly made friends in her house, but found that she was more Slytherin than most. At home she was indeed the black sheep of the family. Not by looks, she fit in perfectly, but by actions. She enjoyed watched horror films and reading their equivalent novels. Always looking for things in the dark places of not only her home, but hogwarts as well. It is her goal to find more secrets than her sister, in a way to call for attention that her older siblings have no trouble finding.
Interests:Flying and Transfiguration
Strengths:Transfiguration
Weaknesses:Potions

Name:Hector Bartleby
Age:13
Year(For a student only):3
House(order the four houses from favorite to least favorite. I'll try to give you your first or second choice):Hufflepuff, Slytherin, Ravenclaw, Gryffindor

Blood-status:pure
Family:Jennifer Candice and Jeremy
Personality:Sweet and Caring. Always showing joy.
Appearance:
History:Hector is the third child of the Bartlebys and is the one who connects them all. He keeps up with each of their lives, trying to help in any way possible, and sometimes causes trouble between Jeremy and the other girls. At home Hector would go into the woods and care for the wildlife. Whether common to the muggle world or completely magical, the animals he would care for. Most of the time he would have a name for them, and his own special way of telling who was who. A happy family so to speak.
Interests:Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures
Strengths:Care of Magical Creatures
Weaknesses:D.A.D.A

Name:Candice Bartleby
Age:15

Personality:Adventurous and Fun-loving. If it means popularity, she will probably do it.
Appearance:
History:Candice is the oldest girl of the Bartlebys. She has had her fair share of on campus adventures, and a few off campus. She has been known to jump into situations without thinking, which Jeremy absolutely loathes, and to do whatever for the fun of it. At home she was always getting in trouble. Not on her being caught, she was either ratted out by Hector or talked into coming clean by Jeremy. She loves the school life because it means that she has a looser leash.

However I think the Ministry would be following up on any magic practised regardless; since its not actually on Hogwarts grounds, it would be investigated I would think. Not only that but the staff at Hogwarts, if they found out, would definitely investigate disciplinary options for those responsible.

The ministry only seems to follow up on violations of the Statute of Secrecy. Underage magic in Hogsmede on the train and in wizarding houses seems to be entirely ignored.

Doesn't she fix his glasses at Diagon Alley in the book? Not sure why that particular scene of all things seems to be sticking in my head, but it is.

She does it twice I think, once in the fist movie, for their general ratty-ness, then he breaks them again coming out of the chimney in the shop, so she takes care of it.

In the book Arthur Weasley was the one who fixed his glasses in Diagon Alley.

San Monteriano wrote:Ah, I suppose this is all pedantic anyway. We could just assume that magic is allowed on the train but, for obvious reasons, if the staff found out about any incidents there would be serious consequences. That would explain Malfoy's actions not being reported.

" "We should probably change into our robes, We ought to be there pretty shortly." Cyrus stood up and picked up his small briefcase, swinging open the compartment door and left down the hallway for the laboratory so that he could change."

Still don't think they're "Almost there"....Do they normally do some sort of announcement when it is time to get your robes on? I don't remember.

Technically by now though, the train has probably at least started moving. But I doubt it is almost anywhere...

I don't believe so, I think the prefects come around to tell you. I couldn't imagine the train not moving at this point, unless there was some kind of problem. It would definitely be moving by now.

As far as I know, Prefects have never actually gone by telling people to change, they have usually done it by themselves as it got later in the day

Okay, so almost caught up with the IC, meaning I'll post again.

Gonna have my 4th year stumble into where Eva is since we talked about that earlier.

I think I'll have my other first year stumble into where Adair is, so anyone can join those two if they want.

Still not sure what I'm going to do with my 6th year. I'll probably post with her later and decide then.
