This is a reboot of my NS Polandball RP, based on the popular internet "Polandball" meme with your IC nations personified in such a manner. This version will not use the original school setting. Instead, it will take place in a small town.
Your character will live in his or her own residence, which should be distinctive and indicative of his or her culture. Your character will will also own two businesses, one of them being a shop and the other being a restaurant or tavern. Characters can shop and dine at each other's businesses, and they can also occasionally attack them and try to take them over for themselves.
You can form alliances with other characters and work together to conquer the most shops and restaurants. When a character surrenders, they can be taken as a prisoner and held for ransom (that their alliance will have to pay), but the prisoner can try to escape.
There is also a "Town Hall", which serves as an equivalent to the United Nations, in which regular meetings will be held but nothing will actually be accomplished. You cannot attack other characters in the town hall, as it is a neutral "truce zone".
Rules (please read this before applying):
1. Unless your nation is an Anglophone nation, use improper grammar (but not improper spelling) when your nation is speaking. Otherwise, please use proper spelling and grammar.
2. No one-liners are allowed. As a general guideline, try to make all posts at least three sentences or more.
3. Keep everything PG-13.
4. Do not godmod.
5. You cannot kill or maim other characters. The worst thing that can result from a fight is being knocked out and having a quick trip to the hospital before being taken prisoner.
6. Focus on having fun and telling a good story. Do not focus on "winning" the RP or manipulating the course of events to your character's favor.
7. Do not attack other characters all the time or "because I can". You are limited to one war or conflict per 10 pages in the IC thread. All parties involved must agree to have a conflict and OOCly decide what the outcome will be beforehand.
8. This is intended to be a humorous RP, so please don't take anything too seriously.
9. Do not apply unless you intend to post in the IC thread. If you have a busy schedule and/ or want to drop out of the RP, please say so in the OOC thread.
10. Do not post any OOC remarks in the IC thread.
