I have a question, is it possible for a character to be a Balrog? I want to know before I actually make an application, so I know my options. Thanks for any reply you give.

There is little interaction a Balrog could do, as it is just a dumb beast. It could fight, being a spawn of Morgoth, but nothing more I'm afraid. I say, meh, probably not.

Unlessrhe has a good case to make.

Lindon:

Realm: Lindon
Leader: Cirdan
Race(s): Elves (Noldor and Sindar)
History: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Lindon
Alignment: Good
Goal(s): To ensure the safety of the Elves of Middle-earth, and hopefully the other Free Peoples if they can possibly help it. The Elves of Lindon work to escort all Elves who wish to depart the mortal lands across the sea to Valinor.
Territory: Image
Fortresses: The Grey Havens
Strength: Not sure about this, but: 18'000 Elves (primarily archers) and 30 Elven ships? (I see why this could be a bit much). None of the elves are currently mounted.

Name: Cirdan (the Shipwright)
Race: Telerin Elf
Appearance: Image
Role: Ruler of Lindon
Alignment: Good
History: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/C%C3%ADrdan
Other: Cirdan has a strong affinity for the sea. He is an experienced sailor, shipwright and warrior, being one of only two elves that stood with Gil-galad (along with Elrond). Beware his bow in battle - he is a deadly archer (after all, he's had about three Ages to practice!).

Another problem is that there's only one Balrog left, in Moria. He either couldn't get out of Moria or he refused to come out since the elves of Lothlorien could defeat him. In the end RPing a Balrog has little to no use.

Well, I wouldn't believe it would be dumb due to it being a Maia.

Realm:Corsairs of Umbar
Leader:Eshirin the Corsair Lord
Race(s):Humans, Mercenaries and Pirates from other races, various slaves taken from raids, Black Númenóreans.
History: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Umbar http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Corsairs_of_Umbar (The two links are applicable, as Corsairs of Umbar, and Umbar are at this point, pretty much one in the same)
Alignment:Evil
Goal(s):Power and wealth, expansion of Umbar, gathering slaves
Territory:The Port-City of Umbar, areas around the city, many towns and villages south of the Anduin River. Part of the territory is close to Near-Harad. (If I could get a map of Middle Earth, I'd be able to mark the territory myself.)
Fortresses:Umbar is in itself a fortress. (Following this point onward, I am bending the lore a bit, since it doesn't really explain if Umbar actually has any fortresses) Port Haven, a large Corsair fortress off of the Coast of Umbar. Traitor's Cage, a large prison-fortress near Port Haven.
Strength:
6,000 Umbarian Corsairs (Of both Southron and Númenórean Variety)
700 Umbarian Frigates
500 Umbarian Cruisers
50 Umbarian Great Ships
1,000 Easterling Mercenaries
500 Khandish Variags (Directly imported from Khand itself, no less)
4,000 Human Slaves (Note: Slaves are pretty much useless for combat, but are listed here as I will be using them as cannon fodder.)
100 Hobbit Slaves

(I am assuming that it's fine to enlist my leader as a character, since he's actually going to be sailing on his ship fighting stuff.)
Name:Eshirin the Corsair Lord
Race:Black Númenórean
Appearance: Eshirin is a decently sized man, standing at 5'7 feet. He has a well kept and braided beard, he has large bags under his eyes. His hair is black and is long, reaching down to the back of his neck. He has various tattoos running up his arms, and his teeth are in surprisingly good shape. He has many rings adorned on his fingers, each more ornate than the last. His clothing is an assortment of leather, and cloth.
Role:Corsair Lord of Umbar, captain of the Everlasting Revenge
Alignment:Evil
History:Eshirin was born in 2460, of the Third Age to Malerian Tormund, and Zeturus Tormund. Both were able, for the most part, to preserve their Númenórean blood. Eshirin's family were only rich enough to afford their home, and food. They barely had enough gold to sustain their home for much longer, at the age of eighteen Eshirin was able to raise enough gold to buy himself a place on the Great Ship, the Skull Drinker. During this time, he used what little pay he received from the captain of the vessel, to pay for his parent's home and supply of food. Over the course of a decade, he had successfully butchered, enslaved and killed many Men of the West, including raiding many Gondorian towns near the coast. In this, he had gained himself enough experience, and enough support; to lead a successful mutiny against the captain. Keelhauling the captain, he took control of the Skull Drinker, renaming it the Everlasting Revenge. Mostly due to the fact it raided Gondorian towns, and supply lines, than anything else.

When Eshirin and the ship returned, there was a power vacuum in Umbar, and at the age of thirty nine, usurped control of the Corsairs of Umbar. With this, he became the Corsair Lord, and used his vast amounts of power and wealth to upgrade his ship, and to lead his forces in combat against the Gondorian Menace.
Other:Eshirin owns the Great Ship the Everlasting Revenge, and is a Corsair Lord. He also has a distinct fondness for cheese.

Umbar is a mostly naval nation, not to mention the fact that in the books, it is stated that they had fifty Great Ships, and smaller ships "beyond number". I'm trying to be as lore friendly as possible, also there is the fact that the amount I listed, would amount to a single Great Fleet. But I will lower the number if requested.

Hobbit slaves, imported directly from Gondorian territories. They make for great dessert.

I'll lower the number of fortresses, because looking back at it, it does seem a bit too much.

Do you believe 7,500 would be suitable? (Don't forget, you're Elves)

Okay then.

I'm guessing it's okay now.

Realm: Lindon

History: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/Lindon
Alignment: Good
Goal(s): To ensure the safety of the Elves of Middle-earth, and hopefully the other Free Peoples if they can possibly help it. The Elves of Lindon work to escort all Elves who wish to depart the mortal lands across the sea to Valinor.
Territory: (Image)
Fortresses: The Grey Havens
Strength: Not sure about this, but: 7'500 Elves (primarily archers) and 30 Elven ships? None of the elves are currently mounted.

Name: Cirdan (the Shipwright)
Race: Telerin Elf
Appearance: (Image)
Role: Ruler of Lindon
Alignment: Good
History: http://lotr.wikia.com/wiki/C%C3%ADrdan
Other: Cirdan has a strong affinity for the sea. He is an experienced sailor, shipwright and warrior, being one of only two elves that stood with Gil-galad (along with Elrond). Beware his bow in battle - he is a deadly archer (after all, he's had about three Ages to practice!).

I know this is a little late but Balrogs had sentient intelligence of their own without Moregoth's will driving them onwards as they were Maia and the reason Durin's Bane didn't leave was because he was still building up his forces in Moria. Also all these apps have way more crap then I thought so may I have more rangers and maybe some trebuchets? Lastly I didn't say anything had been rebuilt yet just that the areas had been reclaimed and that rebuilding had begun.
Nothing to see here. Move along.
