QUEST FOR EDEN (OOC, open)

In a pre-apocalyptic world, rumors have entered into the world of havens from the impending global war. As tensions escalate, forbidden areas known as "pieces of Eden" are being declared as safe havens. Although mere rumors, multitudes have set out in an effort to find them.


This RP will focus on a group leaving from Providence, Rhode Island attempting to reach the nearest "piece" in the center of Lake Erie. To gain access, they will have to maneuver through battalions of thieves, creatures from various mythos (Greek, Roman, England, etc.), and cross the deadly waters itself. The creatures have been guarding these havens for millenniums. These "pieces of Eden" are found on the most precarious places, one in the Bermuda Triangle, Lake Erie(duh), the Sahara, Antarctica, an underwater cavern in Loch Ness, underneath the ruins of the tower of Pisa, a hidden piece in the wilderness of Crete, and one in a cave hidden under snow in Everest itself.

Your goal as characters is simply to survive and arrive. They will have no real understanding of what is going on, so please attempt to illustrate that into your posts. One thing you DO you know the apocalypse is very likely, you will be more prepared than you would if you were kicked out your home randomly. You can be with the main group, there is a limited amount of people who will be allowed to try and stop the expedition, for whatever reasons you can come up with. If you have a spy from another country (only allowing one), you won't be any more prepared than the others, and you should work in secret.

Backstory(Make it good):in 2050 he served in Iraq on secret "Anti-Terror" assignments until he was wounded by Taliban in the Area and taken to Tehran. In a secret compound he was tortured by Albi Abisali who didn't seem to want information as much as to see the Seal suffer, while in captivity Henry was castrated, electrocuted, shot many times in non-vitally areas, and had each finger broken, Abisali even when as far as to nail Henry's hands to a cross as a mockery of His religion. Four years after his incarceration, another Seal team happened to stumble upon Henry in the base, he had been left to riot in his own excrement, while the Terrorists escaped the city. Henry has been undergoing mental therapy in Rhode Island ever since.

1) Because certain modern political standpoints and people would make this war impossible, so I need to accelerate time until people are war-hungry and alliances are large and many
