Simferopol, Ukraine

The delegation was finally let into the Assembly Hall and were seated. They waited for the various delegates and officials to take the seats around the room and Ukrainian delegate finally stood and cleared his throat, "So, are we ready to begin the discussions?" He looked around the room, toward the Russian and Crimean delegates and awaited for the meeting to officially begin.
While things with foreign relations regarding Russia were cooling down, internal stability was heating up. The troops from Belgium were certainly a welcome help, and Yulia even thanked Belgium for sending troops to Ukraine to help de-escalate everything. Protests were heavy in most eastern cities, and a government building was taken over in eastern Ukraine but police forces quickly cleared the building. Pro-Russian protesters attacked a police line guarding another city building until a small group of pro-Ukrainian members assaulted the group. Police did not advance to break up the fighting and arrested the pro-Russian protesters after the fighting subsided.
Gas Lines in Eastern Ukraine were also being patrolled by armed guards to protect from any possible terrorist attacks. The government does report that the economy was beginning to stabilize to "normal" after the multiple reforms in the agricultural sector and various other industries. Large portions were being directed towards paying off Gazprom.
