He hereby establishes a new decree that from here fourth shall be called the Austrian Act of 1800. In this act the King is ordering a renaming of his Empire. Instead of be called the name of the Austria-Hungary we shall be referred to, from here fourth, as only the Austrian Empire. This is to solely reaffirm that the people of Austria deserve an empire while the Hungarian people have only brought hardship to our nation. This unacceptable act by these eastern peoples is only to be meet with strong and determined response. We will not be sunk to the level that these people have fallen to, and if they cannot begin to see that their ways have become the way of the past, then we must let them see through further decrees.

The following also apply to this act:

-The Flag shall no longer share space with that of Hungary. The new flag is shown in this very message.
-The Hungarian people are to pay 45% of their income to the government to repay the hardships suffered by the people of Austria
-Hungarian Citizens, or anyone born in Hungary are not permitted to be in Austria's provincial land. They are to be removed at once, and place inside the designated land referred to as Reformed Hungary. (OOC: THIS IS REMOVING ALL HUNGARIANS FROM AUSTRIA'S PART OF AUSTRIA)

These restrictions are only in place while the Hungarian people do not want to accept the ways of life that are deemed as acceptable for this age. When the government and King Franz Augustine see that a change has been made, a willingness to reform and active reforms in areas have been made, then and only then will such rights be reinstated for Hungarian citizens

The Largest City in all of Mexico, with a population of about 132,094, over 10,000 people are outside the front of the Palace of Mexico, awaiting the El Presidente to come out. As El Presidente and Generalissimo Jorge Benjamin de Santa Barbara fixes himself before appearing before his people, a trumpet fanfare, played by 100 of El Presidente's Fanfare Men, blares out in the square.

"Ladies and Gentlemen, El Presidente Jorge Benjamín de Rubén Anacleto y Miguel Lopez Severino Antonio de Santa Barbara shall thus appear upon you!

After the fanfare, the El Presidente comes out, causing the crowd to cheer for him. El Presidente then clears his throat, preparing to announce something that may alter Mexico's Future.

Because of their incompetent actions, it caused our glorious Mexico to be a backwater nation for a few years. However, during that time, I've sworn into Presidency and I have, and right now, been fulfilling many of Mexico's promised needs; peace, a mighty army, influence, infrastructure, trade, and other needs for our people to survive with.

Because of the imminent rising of nations bordering us, I will make a vow to build up our mighty land armies and our navies so that we can defend our precious lands, and possibly expand if we ever need to. The Mexican Military will be highly trained and best equipped, so that our enemies can be beheaded and buried by our great firepower. I will make sure that the Military and Navy is organized, strong, and high in morale, and that I will make a commitment to show the Western Hemisphere and to the world that our military is mighty.

As the Century progresses, Mexico shall improve internally and externally, and it will also adopt Supremacy as it's national value. The Military shall be built along with the navy, and that all European influence must be expelled from Mexico and the Western Hemisphere. I would like to thank you, the people of Mexico, for coming here today to listen to my grand speech about the state of the Union, and what will be improved and made."

After the speech of the State of the Union, El Presidente walked back into the palace while another Fanfare played and then the thousands of people cheered as he went back in. The Army band then played marching songs and then 2,000 Mexican soldiers marched.

Chairman Viktor Borskolov stood up behind his deep rose-wood desk and cleared his throat. His desk rested before and above the one-thousand Congressperson seats. It was a grand sight. Great red banners hung from the walls, each wielding a great yellow hammer and sickle. And behind his chair, was the Commune's flag. A beautiful beacon of freedom and communism. Borskolov raised his hand, as to calm down the excited and bustling Congress seated before him.

"Comrades! The turn of the century!", he paused letting the onlooking congresspeople cheer and lift their fists in confidence, "We have much to do. All of you are newly elected members of the greatest ideal; communism. This comes with great responsibility, for we have our people to take care of. From the sturdiest worker to the most thoughtful student; they look upon us, their elected leaders to carry out the meaning and policy of the Red banner. So let us commit ourselves to this!"

The Congress applauded and many yelled out phrases like, "Long live freedom!" or "Communism for all!". Borskolov looked around, smiling, seeing the proud faces of his comrades. He was in a sincere mood. A mood that would last forever in the moment. he continued to talk again.

"Comrades, I will propose a very general four year policy, which will help the Russian Commune magnificently. Through the economy, to culture, to law, and to love, this plan will make us thrive. Thus, I ask for your attention, for this plan could be the future of Russia."

It had only been a decade since the Communists won the civil war. And now, finally, they were testing out their long sought ideals, through elections and plans and laws. Much had changed in Russia, but much still needed to be done.

"What we must do, to begin with, is increase trade with the large Ottoman Empire; just south of us. Although they enslave their people, and gorge their Kings and Oligarchs with purpled sugars and wealth galore; they are a viable trade partner. Maybe through peaceful diplomacy we could change their disgusting ways. Next we must utilize although the fertile land we can. Food shortages may become a problem one day, so let us prepare for the worst. Let us encourage collective farms to produce more and thus, receive more. Thirdly..."

The speech went on, explaining the changes that would need to take place in Russia for the creation of a prosperous Commune.

Twin Rivers, Capital of the Native People’s Confederation of America

Chief Running Wolf sat at the Long Table inside the Capital Building, or better known as the Great House. The Great House sat in the middle of city if Twin Rivers, which was located at where the Twin Rivers (the Sacramento and the American Rivers) meet. The population was around a quarter million (which was massive, especially for a Native American city) thanks to Chief Running Wolf’s knowledge of Western practices. Prior to becoming Chief, Running Wolf had a considerable amount of time in the East where he learned many of the white man’s practices, or at least those he deemed useful. After several years of what he called “studying the white people” he moved out West and eventually ended up at Twin Rivers. Working with the many tribes that inhabited the region, he united much of the Californian Tribes under the idea that the Whites were incredibly dangerous and only through unity would the tribes be safe. This belief quickly spread through areas of Nevada, Arizona and what the whites referred to as the Oregon Country. Eventually, the tribes unified into one massive, Confederation.
Anyway, Chief Running Wolf sat with the Council of Ten, or the ten elected, leaders of the ten nations (more like a US state than a nation) who met with the Chief to discuss national issues. Most of these issues were about reforms that would make the NPCA equivalent to any Western nation.

After several long hours of discussion, a series of reforms were created to improve the standards of living of people living in the NPCA. These reforms include the following types of reforms:
Agricultural: Establishment of a new irrigation system in the arid regions of the nation. Canals are to be dug from the Santa Cruz, Colorado, Gila, Salt, Verde and the San Joaquin Rivers. This will be as a means to increase the production of maize, beans, potatoes, squash and pumpkin. Crop rotation will also be implemented.

-Establishment of fruit orchards in California.

-Establishment of farms for domestic animals, such as horses, cattle, turkeys, and geese.

-Establishment of large-scale, commercial fishing in northern rivers and along the coast.

Industry: Establishment of a logging industry in the Pacific Northwest. Timber will be used for building new types of homes and various other construction projects. Timber can also be traded to other countries.

-Maintenance of the profitable fur trade will continue. Furs will continue to be traded to other nations

-Establishment of a mining industry in the Sierra Nevada’s and other areas deemed mineral rich. Will be working with the white settlement of Prospector’s Stay to determine what kinds of minerals can be mined in the region.

-If possible, construct one Western style ship with cooperation of the White settlement of Porttown.

Infrastructure: Establish and maintain a network of roads linking major cities and towns. Foot and horse roads will also be established.

-Establish a river “highway system” as a means of easier travel and trade.

-Improvement of existing canals will be commissioned.

Military: Maintain a standing army of 60,000. An additional 40,000 will be kept for reserves.

-Acquire more rifles and other advanced weapons.

-Establish a series of outposts and fortifications along the borders of the country in order to protect it from hostiles.

Cherokee, Oklahoma

The two white men were a bit out of place within this small city that was populated mainly by cherokee Indians. There were a few whites and of course black slaves manning the plantations but seeing someone who was not idian was rare here. they began to walk down the road towards the large townhall where the Governer resided. Stephen Wolf was his european name but the natives called him Chief runs with wolves who lead the Cherokee in the state. of course the cherokee were one of the smaller tribes within the CSA with most in the Monarchy to the east. The cherokee were nonetheless seen as the representive tribe to the Whiteman as they were able to adapt to european ways easier than the rest. The two men had finally arrived at the building and entered. they were then lead to the office of the Governer. The two men entered the room and noticed the mans gaze had gone straight to them. He was a great observer they could tell right off the bat. He seemed to study them before gesturing them to sit in the chairs in front of his desk. "What brings two men of the government to me today?" asked Governer Wolf noticing one of the men starting to take a paper out of a bag. One of the men began to answer "I am Mr. Smith and this is Mr. Lee. We are here to inform you a new law passing in the senate" Mr. lee then gave the Paper to the Governer "this law states thatholy sites of all native religions are to be protected and not allowed to be settled upon without consent of the native tribes. Many felt that there have been tensions between Whites and Native Americans and they hope this will stop them from growing any farther". The Governer read over the document before saying this was a wise move by the national government. Is there any other laws that have passed?". Mr. lee was the one to answer "only a bill to offer 500 dollars to any person who wishes to start a plantation, Any man who is Free and a citizen may take the offer". The governer smiled after hearing that and said " that is good news, I must take my leave now gentlemen. Have a good day". The men then shook hands and went their seperate ways.

Sugar, Sugar made the economy...no it is the economy. The vast sugarcane fields of coastal Venezuela, had all enabled for the country which they stood on to become one of the largest exporters of sugar. Sugar had grown to become the largest export of Venezuela, followed by coffee, cotton and various other agricultural products, that all combined made Venezuela an agricultural superpower. Though mostly agricultural, industry had begun flourishing under very capitalistic laws, that had allowed for industry such as textiles and steel making to grow significantly. With a booming economy and prosperous future, president Monagas could now only hope to do enough to keep this so called "South America Union" at bay and balance out the situation in South America, with the Peru-Charcas Confederation a clear ally of Venezuela, all future acts would be to keep Venezuela sovereign and keeping the balance of power in South America even.

Maracaibo, Capital of Venezuela

The sound of people rang in the air of the port city. Maracaibo was busy as always with the markets full of people doing their business and the port sending and receiving goods at a constant pace, the city was surely the London of South America. But now entering the recently-built presidential palace, where Monagas slept and worked to keep his country afloat. Today he would be signing an act that opened the Amazonia territory to settlers, with the act he hoped to increase Venezuelan presence in the Amazon and more importantly have a line to the Amazon river, where he could place strategic forts along the border with the potentially dangerous southern neighbor. After signing, the president was taken to a gathering by a fellow politician, Venezuela needed friends though, who could be capable of helping out one of the most resource-full countries in South America?

Within the Château de Versailles, the Imperial seat of power



As celebrations go, when the French do host, the guests can always expect it to start off with a bang. And as thousands of firework rockets blasted into the frigid January skies above the Imperial palace, one could see the results from a hundred miles off. Colorful explosions, mixing with the the discharge of pistols from eccentric passersby, and the occasional pop of champagne bottles produced an atmosphere truly Parisian.

With festivites abound, truly what better way for France to celebrate the end of a century and the begnning of a new one. Surely, Napoleon Bonoparte could find no reason why not. Having a front row seat from his balcony atop the Versailles provided an extraordinary vista, matched only by the view of the two beautifully voluptuous women, who did him the pleasure of accompaning him this evening.

Returning his view to the Château lawn, where battery upon battery of French cannon rested along their firing line, as they prepared their 250 gun-salute, in honor of Empire, Emperor, and just old human appericiation for massive firepower. The artillary crews, their uniforms a resplendent red, white and blue in the afternoon sunset created a picturesque sight, almost surreal. To the trained eye, the glint of gold epaulette gave away the officer in charge, who was none other than Captain André Masséna, a rising star in the Imperial Army and a favorite of Napoleons. He did not know it, but he would make Marshall one day. Soon enough if the truth was told, on one bloody battlefield in Europe against one of the Empires many foes. But for now, he remained a youthful artillary officer, enjoying the honor of leading the salute in his monarch's name and to his nations glory.

And the French monarch, the man whom the world would come to know as the most powerful figure in Europe, smiled. Rising from his chair, glass in hand, he spoke the words which would drive him and his nation in conflicts to come, "Viva la France, Viva moi Empire!"

Presidential Building, Brasília

President Leonardo Sosa stood on the balcony where he did all of his speech's and thought for several long minutes as the crowd slowly filed into their places to hear what he had to say. He had won decisive victory's against the Portuguese and when he gained his country independence from the wretched Europeans, he sought to expand and formed the idea of a completely united South America. So he attacked and annexed several nations next to his grand Nation of Brasil and formed the strongest south american nation as of yet. He had more plans but first he would announce them to the public. Clearing his voice he began his speech...

"Greetings my fellow South Americans, I trust that you days have been good and that your lives have been considerably better since we kicked out our European oppressors?" He smiled and the people laughed and nodded at him while others cheered him on. "I to am as happy as you are now but now that our nation has some peace and quite, we need to build it up and industrialize to catch up to our brothers over in Europe" He paused to let that sink in "we have already done a considerable amount of industrializing on the coast's but we must use the industrial might of our economy to fuel the build up of our military so I, you great President, have ordered that not only new cities be designated to become industrial cities but I have also further ordered that railroads be built all through out the country to further our plans" he stopped and thought for a moment before saying the next thing he needed to do "I have also decided that the natives of this great continent also deserve the same rights and access to citizenship as regular citizens, no matter what religion they practice so long as it does not take the life of another fellow citizen, I aim to make every one free and equal as much as possible" he smiled as he got a roar of cheers from many but knew he would have to convince those who did not like what he said at later point "LONG LIVE THE UNION OF SOUTH AMERICAN NATIONS" the president roared and was happy to hear the return "LONG LIVE THE UNION OF SOUTH AMERICAN NATIONS" from the people gathered.

President Leonardo stood proud of what he was saying as the cheers came from the crowd. Waving to his people he walked back inside to form plans to invade and occupy their neighbor to the west, Bolivia, as they had become a nuisance due to recent raids of border towns by their army. He would make them pay for ever attacking his great nation. The other reason for the build up in the army and Navy was due to the fact that another large nation in upper south america had also gained it's independence and it could pose a threat to the USAN if they ever thought his nation was weak so he wouldn't let his nation get weak. No he had to many possible enemies to ever let it become weak.

Prime Minster John Smith of the British Nationalist Party started his address to the members of both the House of Lords and the House of Commons in parliament. The British Empire had recovered from the great defeat in the Americas. Yet it needed to make up a replacement, a new major conquest to make up for the past humiliations. Invading the 13 colonies wasn't out of the question, yet it would be too long and hard to win, so it was not part of British plans for now. Currently the most favorable areas were Africa and Southeast Asia, while Canada was also a good target. The most important part was to industrialize Britain, which would assure its dominance as a major power.

Then he began his speech to parliament.
"The British Empire has been long a powerful and great nation. It has been in dire times before, but its people and leaders have always risen up together and we had always gone out and proven to the world that BRITAIN IS HERE TO STAY. The British Empire shall make up its losses for the Thirteen Colonies, and shall expand like never before and regain its glory! Our fleet is still the mightiest in the world! Our armies are still one of the most fearsome and powerful! The British Empire shall conquer many vast territories and its people shall gain new living space to spread British culture over the world. To help accomplish these goals, I propose mandatory conscription into the armed forces for two years after the age of 20, as well as increase our already industrialized economy. Industry and a powerful military is our future, and I say to you, when the century is over, the British Empire shall be GREATER THAN EVER!
The members of Parliament all started to clap and cheer. The news spread and soon British citizens all across the country were celebrating for the Rise of the British Empire.

Mazatlan Naval Base, Mexico

"My generals, we are to plan a possibly inevitable invasion if Mexico is being threatened by both the CSA and the NPC.

The Generalissimo and his 5 Generals and Admirals gather around a conference table inside the Naval base, secretly discussing possible plans to increase the Mexican Army and Navy's size, as well as plans on a possible large-scale invasion of the Native Peoples Confederacy and the Confederate States. As the six men debated, Generalissimo Santa Barbara has finally came up with a plan on a possibly inevitable invasion of the CSA and the NPC:



For a war with both the NPC and the CSA, Santa Barbara, with a built mighty navy, would order his best admirals to blockade both of the coasts to starve the nations of imports from other countries, and as a result, cause Economic turnoil in the enemy. Once the blockade has been done, the Land invasion can start. Santa Barbara, on the Native front, would order his Generals to invade Baja California and Sonora, and once those regions are secured, they will finally move on into the NPC, occupying their lands and sacking/taking over strategic cities such as ones known as San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, Phoenix, Las Vegas, and Carson. Once the Forces have sacked half of California, naval forces will move in from the blockading ships, adding to the number of soldiers that will lead to the sacking of Two Rivers. Once two rivers is sacked, the grouped forces will continue up north, while the other General's forces are making their way up to Nevada from Arizona.

On the Texan Side, Santa Barbara will order forces from four fronts to invade the CSA. The First Front will push through Southwestern Texas and occupy El Paso, then continue Northwest Afterwards. The Second front will go up through Southern Texas and occupy cities such as Laredo, San Antonio, Austin, and Dallas. The Third front will go along the coast, occupying Corpus Christi and San Jacinto, then it will split to where one half will go up north to Arkansas, while the Third front continues onto New Orleans. The Fourth front will do a large invasion of New Orleans, blockading the city and then occupying it. Once the fourth front's forces occupy the city, they head up north to Arkansas, where most of the invading forces will occupy Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, and finally Missouri. All four fronts will meet at St. Louis, occupying the city as it is a strategic city as well.

"So, gentlemen, shall we save these plans later on?"
"Yes, Generalissimo."
"Good. Now, do me a favor, and recruit as many Sailors and soldiers into the army, and build as many ships as you can. Minimum for soldiers is 395,000, minimum for Sailors is 95,000. Do not speak of this plan or you will face utter consequences."

As the men leave the room, Jorge gets an evil-like smirk on his face and chuckles a little bit.

Kingdom of Italy, 1800

Umberto I looked at the great city of Rome from his palace. he had great things planned for the nation and the people supported him. All he needed was the support of the Senate and then he would be able to do as he pleases. Already having colonies in Africa, Umberto looked to expand the Italian holdings on the continent, but wouldn't be able to unless he had a powerful economy and military to use. He prepared the Royal Guard and left to go and see the Senate. With enough reasoning, his laws would pass without much trouble.

As he rode through the streets, he saw how much needed to change. People were living on the streets and jobs were closing down. The economy stagnated only 5 years ago and the effects weren't felt until now. Many of the larger businesses controlled the economy and weren't making it easier for the people. Their low wages has made life for the population much harder. He even heard rumors from the south that farms were now officially beginning to collapse from the economy stagnating.

As the King arrived at the Senate, the Guards took position around him and walked him inside where 100 men were talking about the current situation. When the King entered, the room immediately fell silent.

Senators. As you know, the situation in Italy is a dire one. Businesses fall, leaving on the more powerful ones to supply the jobs to the people and these give low wages, making life more difficult for the population. The farms in the south are failing as the prices of food has decreased because of overproduction and as a result farms are being closed down because farmers aren't making any money. If this continues, I fear that Italy will be looked down upon by nations like France or Austria because we can't seem to help our own economy grow. That is why I purpose a 5 year plan in which we will rework the national economy and become an economic center of Europe

Italian Industrialization Act
-All new industries starting as of January 18 of 1800 may be subsidized if they meet these terms.
-Working hours will be cut down to a 30 hour work week.
-Wages will be $6.00 an hour for all workers.
-All industries made before January 1 of 1790 will be put under government control.

-Farmers will be paid $200 for not growing any food crop.
-Farms will be joined together to make large plantations.

-In a turn of events this paper can only lable as astonishing, the trials between the British and our French Empire has come to an apparent close. Even as you are reading these words, the development of but a few letters exchanged from the hands of one monarch to another have altered the entire course of world events, shifting the power scheme in Europe between these great powers to a resounding neutral. Major Events

The British settlers in Canada start moving more westward, settling and establishing their boundaries now at the RL Manitoba and Nunavut. They establish somewhat friendly relations with the natives and co-exist in harmony. (RL Manitoba and Nunavut provinces are now completely in British control). Settlers number some 70,000 in those areas.

Western Australia is being colonized. It is now labeled as British territory and the British have seized control of the bulk of the territory, naming the province's capital Perth. About some 11,000 colonists are there, nearly half are ex-criminals.

The Empire of Austria is to begin a massive military build-up. Focusing strongly on artillery pieces and the creation of three forts. The specific fortress construction is to be only known by the architects ordered to build these three forts. The forts will be located on the borders with Russia, The Ottomans Empire, and the German Empire. These forts are to protect the sovereignty of the Empire's mainland and to prevent the inhabitants of the Hungarian population from escaping the changes the Austrian government is enforcing.

The Emperor has not called for the recruitment of new regiments for the army, but has suggested that if the Hungarian population continues to not follow the orders he will be forced to recruit new units as he sends his forces into Hungarian territory to contain any uprising against the changes implemented by his decree.

President Washington stood over a parchment map of the Americas, or what they believed was the Americas at this point. He focused heavily on the neighbors around him, specifically Mexico and the CSA. A tiny flag of each nation was placed where the capital was whilst white flags were placed where major cities were. Tiny soldier figurines stood within the borders of the Kingdom. He gently picked up each one and moved them along the borders, murmuring whilst doing so. Once everything was finished, a dozen figurines were placed along the borders of the neighbors, with six of them along the British Colonial border and six along the Confederate border. The remaining four were placed in the major cities of the Kingdom: two in Washington, whilst one in Philadelphia and another in New York.

An aide walked over. "My lord," he said in a timid voice, "We have received word that the Brits are beginning to enforce conscription amongst able-bodied men. Why they have done this, we do not know. However, we are afraid that they plan on reclaiming the Kingdom and ruling us once more. What shall we do?" Washington continued to look at the table in front of him. His body has now become rigid in fear and in anger. His hands clutched the edge of the table firmly.

"I knew this day would come..." said the monarch in a low, slow voice, "But the day has come much sooner than I thought. And yet, we shall not be unprepared. I do have a plan for this situation." Washington let his right hand go of the table and began to shuffle some pieces around. Now, only two figurines would border the CSA whilst ten now bordered the British border. "Come her-" Washington then brought his hand to his mouth and violently coughed into it. The aide rushed to the King's side, but the monarch waved him away.

"Are you okay, my liege??" asked the aide in a rushed voice. The leader nodded.

"Aye, I am... I am well enough... I just feel as though my age is catching up with me. Send a letter to General Knox and call him to the capital. If I am in a weakened state whilst the British threaten us, then I would like for a capable military official to know how to protect the country" The aide did as Washington commanded and sent a letter to Henry Knox, who was in Richmond at the time.

Washington D.C | Three Days Later
Rain poured down upon the capital as General Knox rode in on a single horse. His hat prevented his head from getting wet, but his coat was soaked. He tied his horse at the stables near the outskirts of the city and walked to the Royal Mansion. An aide let him into the building and took him to the King's Chambers, where Washington lied bed-ridden. He was a sickly pale, looking weak and frail. Knox was slightly disturbed when he saw a trusted friend on his death bed. "Ah, Henry," said Washington, chuckling. He then began to cough wildly after laughing. "Come, come." Knox sat on a chair that was next to the King's bed. "I am dying, Knox. I can feel it. But, that does not distract me from defending the Kingdom. It has come to my attention that the British are beginning to enforce conscription upon all qualified men. We do not know why this is, but I want you to know my plan of action for the nation before my time on this world ends."

The president leaned over and grabbed a rolled up map on a dresser just next to the bed. He unraveled it and pointed to several marks on the paper. "I want for ten thousand troops to be stationed along the British Colonial border... I want two thousand troops stationed along the Confederate border. I understand that they do not seem like a threat now, but... if all of our forces are concentrate-" The monarch coughed heavily once more, "Are concentrated on the Brits, then the Confederates might seize the opportunity to conquer us. All other forces should be scattered between New York, Philadelphia, and the Capital. I understand that almost all of the military will be on high alert, but that is how urgent this threat seems at this moment."

The King continued to explain the plans as Knox listened intently.

Secret Order (January 7, 1800)

By the order of his Royal Majesty, Emperor Franz Augustine, he commands a shift in the distribution of troops in his army. The First to the Fifteenth Corps are to report to the German border. That will put the total number of troops against their border at 700,000. This is to be kept hidden from the German forces. Trenches are to be built and heavy fortifications are to be constructed. If possible, lend some men to the construction of the fort on that border. Even if not completed we can still use what we have in case of their attack.

This will take days, if not weeks, to preform, but the task must be done. I ask that minimal breaks be taken but nothing to overextend your troops.

"M'lord, it is time to continue preparations. The Germans may be on their way to build forts, but if we are to not be caught unprepared we must be ready." The King sit's on his chair, looking down at his son as he plays happily with wooden toys, Henry sighing. "Begin constructing the trenches. I wan't men formed into infantry groups of 60 to garrison inside of them. Two rows to each trench garrison, and artillery batteries dug in on dirt mounds above the trenches for coverage. Put sharpened wooden shafts sticking straight out at any advancing forces in front of the trenches and, well..." He scratches his head before looking sadly at his son. "Make the children labor as well. We don't know when we will be attacked, or frankly where, but fortify around every provincial capital." The King's son seemed a bit displeased, as he always thought the French were quite interesting along with having sexy big boobed hawt women pleasant people, but he didn't really understand war all that much.

IMPERIALIST PIGS ATTEMPT TO INCREASE PRESENCE IN THE WESTERN HEMISPHERE

In an attempt to take over the Western Hemisphere and to puppet most of the independent nations within it, several European powers are forging "trade and military alliances", while at the same time, these imperialist pigs are trying to expand their territory to claim that they can dominate the world. With recent alliances made between American and European Nations, it is threatening Mexico's sovereignty as a nation, thus, the Great El Presidente & General Jorge Benjamin de Santa Barbara has passed the "Santa Barbara Doctrine", stating that the New World will be closed to any further colonization from the filthy hands of the European Imperialists.

On behalf of the Independent Nations of the Western Hemisphere, the United Mexican Union hereby declares the Santa Barbara Doctrine, which will close the Western Hemisphere to any further menaced and intolerable colonization done by European Powers. As agreed to by several Mexican delegations, the European nations have recently lost their holdings in the Western Hemisphere, and they will do anything to get it back. Their efforts are considered menaced and imperialist, and they cannot be tolerated in either of the Americas.

When the European nations became oppressive upon their colonial holdings, much of the people there demanded or revolted for independence, but despite most of these being successful, the European nation that they will demand or revolt for independence will ask help from their other counterparts in Europe, in which, if this help crushes any rebellions, it will make Mexico and other influential Western nations vulnerable to these pessimistic Europeans. However, they claim that it's their land for two hundred years, yet the local population of their colonies invalidates that, as assimilation into the European culture would be impossible.

Secondly, when Europe becomes more starved for power and might, they will resort to attacking the North and South American Continents again like they did over 200 to 300 years ago. Instead to focus on much bigger problems at their homelands and remaining colonial holdings, they will be foolish and illogical enough to use their current might to re-establish their colonies like how they were years ago before they were separated from them. Why would a few tiny nations in Europe want to rule huge chunks of an entire landmass way bigger than their homelands? It seems like these foolish Europeans have no logic whatsoever.

To conclude, the Santa Barbara Doctrine states that all European presence; Influential, Imperial, and Colonial, is to all be pushed out of the Americas. The Doctrine then states that further Colonization of the Americas is closed to the European nations. In addition, the Second Colonization of the Americas (meaning the invasion of former colonies) would put the powerful Independent American nations into a bad position in this kind of crisis. Finally, the Europeans re-establishing their colonial holdings way bigger than their homeland size is illogical. If you are an Independent nation on the Americas and if you are threatened by this, the Santa Barbara Doctrine will be a valid casus belli to kick these imperialistic and power-hungry Europeans out of the Western Hemisphere for good.

- The Mexican Military's soldier numbers are expected to rise to 400,000 under the order of the El Presidente, ensuring that these 400,000 will be perfectly train, led, and equipped. "Welcome, everyone, to the first meeting of the Parliament in Scandinavian history!" the King greeted the parliamentaries.
This was, in fact, the first meeting of the Parliament. This legislature branch to the government was created only 4 months ago, when the King, pressed by many protests and petitions, accepted to sign the Parliament Act, which created the Parliament and instituted a Constitutional Monarchy.
So, why did the Parliament gathered now. Well, the main issue that was being solved was the lack of industrialization in the nation. The population of Scandinavia was mostly made up of farmers, who didn't give much taxes to the state. To encourage the growth of the nation and the industry sector, the Parliament created the Subsidies Act.
What does the Subsidies Act do? Well, in the first place, it reduces the maximum taxation on the Rich Class, which include capitalists and aristocrats. Second, it reduces both the Factory Tax and the Import Tax (Tariffs). Finally, it grants government subsidies to factory and plantation owners, encouraging them to expand their businesses.
Of course, this act was receiven negatively by the poor, since it increases the power of the rich, but who cares? They don't know any better.

Second important issue at the meeting was relations with foreign neighbours. Scandinavia's only land neighbour was the Commune of Russia, who didn't really appreciate a capitalist democracy next door. The other two sea neighbours, British Empire and German Empire, weren't that hostile, but still neutral. The Kingdom of Scandinavia decided to stay neutral in present and near future diplomatic incidents or wars.

Chairman Viktor Bolskolov knew what he had to do to create the Motherland of Communism. And the first step would be to attack the German fascists and annex their land with Austria. Although it was not fully what he had hoped for, the Austrians were being cooperative, thus it was only safe too go along with their plans as well.

Thus, he issued a mass-propaganda program in order to recruit at least 500,000 more soldiers, as to cap the military level at 4 million troops. Females and males of any race, above 18, would be encouraged to join. However, one thing concerned the Chairman. This was the fact Russian troops were lower quality than most developed European countries; like Germany. And it was a bad idea to simply throw low quality troops at high quality defenders.

Chairman Bolskolov also discussed matters with the Defense Committee of the People's National Congress. They suggested that bayonets, produced by the strong Russian heavy industry, should be supplied to as many troops as they could, for it was greatly worried that this war between Germany would be fought in muddy, close quarter trenches.

Mikita Kaminsky, the leader of the PNC Defense Committee, spearheaded the construction of four stone forts and six lines of trenches along the border between Russia and Germany. He also pressed for the Farmer Councils to encourage faster and more productive food production and development.

President Leonardo looked over the response from his North american ally and was glad that he was able to secure an alliance up there. Though he was saddened that the current leader was on his death bed right now and in response he had sent an envoy with his best regards to ask if they needed extra troops to help protect them in this time of need but there was something else that had most of his attention. The Nation had succeeded in recruiting thosands of new soldiers that were now going through training and he expected that the nation would gain 200,000 to 250,000 soldiers in years to come. But in the now, the border skirmashes between his soldiers and the bolivians had been escalating to the point that he was considering declaring war on them but he didn't want his neighbor up to the north to join in so he had to think of a way to quickly invade the nation before it could get a message up to their neighbor. He thought all night about this and considered surounding the country before messengers could get out of the country. He nodded to himself looking at his map.

Then one of his enovy's walked into his room, interupting his thoughts and imediatly started speaking very fast. "President, the Mexican Union has just issued a statement that banned Europeans from colonizing the new world, they also banned all european settlers from coming into their country"

The president slowly stood up. "Tell my advisers to get here imediatly, I have letters to write and a new law to make."
