United Nations Security Session

[Resolution Number:0-95321]

Preamble

The AIDZ proposed by The People's Republic of China has forced Chinese defense policies far beyond its own border into independent and sovereign nations
What you propose?

-China should decrease its AIDZ: Chinese AIDZ is very large, and I understand that China is just being cautious about its defense.
-Allow Nations to ask China for defense: As China has many allies that it can put AIDZ on without violating other nation's airspace, countries that border China may ask China to put its AIDZ around their nation
-Allow Nations to decline China's AIDZ: Nations should be allowed to decline China's AIDZ over their predetermined Air Space, and that China must oblige by such a decline
-Allow China to Deny putting AIDZ over other nations: Should a nation ask for the AIDZ to be over them, China should be allowed to decline putting it over them. (IE. Russia asks for AIDZ, China says no)

What should we expect if this is enacted?

China may still be allowed to increase AIDZ without violating sovereign airspace.

Signed,

Peter Wittig

Upon Resolution 095321, the UK abstains, due to the fact China may pressure its allies into accepting AIDZ, but also as the proposal has other merits
Upon Resolution 0263172, the UK says aye, as it is good sense to limit military expansion in a peaceful time

Pakistan votes nay to resolution 0-95321, and abstains to resolution 0263172.

In regards to resolution 0696969, Pakistan votes nay, as ISI investigation has already revealed the Pakistani groups involved in the bombing, rendering a new investigation pointless. Pakistan instead offers to release all it's investigation notes publicly to prove the legitimacy of the investigation, and if necessary, release those involved to face international courts.

Spain Votes NAY on the proposal about the Chinese AIDZ due to the resolution failing to address the possibility of China pressuring other governments to comply with Chinese demands. We believe that China should not be allowed to expand it's AIDZ as it is already large enough to allow China to successfully defended it's self from any aggression by sea.

On the resolution of German Military Build-Up, Peter Wittig stands up and says: Germany has already decreased the amount, making this resolution non-applicable

On the resolution regarding China's AIDZ, Peter speaks: The countries with the guts to stand up to China will no give into pressure. South Korea and Japan will not be pressured by China, of whom this resolution aims to help. Any other country, for example The Federation of Russia, will also not give in to Chinese pressure.

The United States votes NAY the Germany Military Buildup, as we feel it will not be adqueate enough to enforce the demands if China refuses.
