I think most of Europe is still open, along with Africa, and pretty much everywhere else. Though, like I've been telling people, I'd only start outside of Europe / the Mediterranean region if I didn't want to interact with people a lot.

Ah! Here we go:
Name of Civilization: Sicani
Location: Thrace
Specialty (warfare, farming, trade, etc): farming/fishing
Nomad or Settled: Settled
If Nomad trader or raider: N/A
History: The Sicani people migrated from Illyria due to pressure from other tribes in the area, whom repeatedly invaded their lands.
Unfortunately due to the perilous journey only 2000 men, women and children made it to northern Greece where, as a semi-nomadic tribe, they traveled around the entire area, having to rely slightly on hunting and gathering to see if this would be a good place to live. Eventually they settled in Thrace and it was there that they founded their first city, using actual design so it wasn't just an urban sprawl, with wooden walls surrounding it and a walkway over the river, built in a similar way to how the Aztecs would build their capital some millennia later. They learned to fish with nets and with the technology of rope built primitive rafts. 
Eventually other peoples came but they were defeated by their spears, the walls and a hail of missiles, (slings if bows haven't been invented yet).
Culture?: They are ruled by a chieftain who gains power by election in which 1 member from each family gets to vote in, with the candidates being a representative from each family (usually the patriarch) and leadership is automatically passed down from father to son but he can be voted out if he isn't very good. The chieftains must however listen to elders who are the oldest male members of each family. 
The Sicani have a polytheistic religion centered around the god of all living things, with his son, the god of war on his right and his wife, the god of weather on his left. It is these things the Sicani base their lives around. And currently they look to find out about more of the world and to trade with who they find.
