Medu-Canaan
The Rebuilding

Important people of House Capis in 1416:
- Pierre III, 56, King of Medu
- Xavier II, 34, King of Canaan
- Varrick IV, 50, King of Coin (CMG owner)

We have the most up to date maps this side of the Mediterranean and we have not recieved word that you claimed the region where Demain is located. Due to the lack of evidence to support your claims in Demain, we will not give up our port there. But be warned, if you dare launch an attack on Demain, prepare for the fury of Erhman to strike Medu-Canaan.

To Evris Robaer III
After discussion with my advisers, we believe we have found a proposal that may be favorable in both of our eyes. South of my kingdom lies the proxy state of Nilius. They are 'ruled' by King Victres X, a frail, old man who has worked for the kings of Palestu for many years. We believe that you may find it favorable indeed if we take the land of Nilius, and give everything east of the Nile to you. You would have much more land and most of the tributaries of the Nile are to the East. As well it presents a great opportunity for trade as you will be able to connect with many more nations that aren't already near you. Attached is a desired map of our borders.
~ Gustave II, King of Palestu

1416 AD
-The idea of towers and flying men are finished across much of the realm.
- Gustave Palestu II meets with the Key 3 to discuss the future of the Kingdom of Palestu. He is unwilling to become an extension of the Kingdom of Canaan and proposes a triple monarchy, a single monarchy, and a unique system where their is a single monarchy who has near-absolute power but is elected by a council of kings/lords/etc from all their respective lands. This council would be in charge of picking the next king from themselves. Pierre III dislikes the deal as he feels that is not what his grandfather intended.
- In December of 1416, Pierre III dies of a heart attack and his son Pierre IV (25) takes the throne.

1417 AD
- Seeing the potential of Pierre IV, Gustave II holds the "Conference of Capis" in his capital Jursalu. Pierre IV is much more keen on the idea of a council of kings as he is very ambitious and believes can control all of them because his father was the main figure in the Key 3. He agrees to this and they begin drafting a written record of how the government will work under Varrick's advise.

1418 AD
- Medu-Canaan now becomes the "United Monarchs of the Mediterranean" (UMM).

United Monarchs of the Mediterranean

Congress of the Monarchs (1418):
- Pierre IV, 27, King of Medu
- Xavier II, 36, King of Canaan
- Varrick IV, 52, King of Coin, High King of the United Monarchs of the Mediterranean
- Gustave II, 43, King of Palestu
- Leo V, 17, King of Anatolia
- Ricardo II, 34, King of Tursb
- Francis I, 18, King of Meracu
- Franco I, 27, Governor of Meladu

Timeline of the UMM, 1418 AD - 1420 AD

1418 AD
- Varrick IV is crowned High King of the UMM.
- Tursb and Anatolia become Kingdoms from lordships.
- A new flag and CoA are decided upon by the Council of Monarchs.
- The Governor of Mealdu is added to the CoM after a vote.

1419 AD
- Franco I receives permission from the CoM to march an army of 6,000 out from Mealdu and expand it's borders.

1420 AD
- All of the CoM agree upon a format for resolutions which will be filled out by a council scribe.
- They agree upon a resolution that they call, "The Capisesian Codes." In it they determine a legal structure for all the realm to rule.
- The CoM makes a secret agreement to all get new cloaks made of the silk of the Mystic East.

Sveden
In an attempt to quell the Raegandar in the region, soldiers continued to march to the North and attacked any villages that they came across. They had yet to come across any major fighting forces, however, leading them to suspect that the Scandin army was to the north of the Ostyrlonian villages

Aggoras sat on his patio overlooking the city of Raegan, studying a map of the region he claimed. The settlements first attacked in the toare were being lost much faster than he had anticipated. He pondered the concept of sending a small portion of his force to scout the area, but he knew that could be disastrous if they were captured. His force was more than ready, they had spent almost a decade training, and it was finally time to put his Army to war. He considered leaving a portion of his Army to defend the city, but then he realized that if he was defeated to the South, it was not possible he could defend the North. So he had to make a stand, with full effort, here and now. He needed to scare these foreigners while he had the chance.

"Countrymen, Protectors, Friends, we march today to defend the glorious lands our predecessors have spent so long cultivating. We fight an enemy unknown, but we do know what we are fighting for. Look out over the city, if we do not succeed in this endeavour, this is likely our last glimpse of her. No retreating today, we face, we fight, we force. That is the battle cry, remember your training, how long have you been here?" He pointed towards a soldier in front of him.
"Seven years, Sir."
"And what do you remember from those seven years?"
"Endurance, Sir."
"Ahh, endurance. My boy, then you understand what is going to happen next?"
"Yes, Sir."
"It's going to be a struggle, it's going to be a challenge, and it's going to be the gruesome event you will ever see. And it will be glorious, for in this chaos, we as Scandin shall rise. Rise like the sun, eliminating night from our presence. This is our fight, this is when we rise. Remember your training, don't lose faith, and remember what you're fighting for, and it is with that I say 'For Glory!'
"For glory!"
"For Raegendar!"
"For Raegendar!"
"For Scandin!"
"For Scandin!"

From there a force of 18,000 soldiers marched to war.

The Village of Bormgor

The village of Bormgor was a small farming hamlet in the southern portion of Raegendar's controlled lands, with a population of about eight-hundred, it served as little more than strategically important. It was an obvious target in the eyes of Ostyrlonians, and now it looked like it would be the site of Aggoras' planned battle. On a massive hill overlooking the town, Aggoras had set up camp, looking down on the lake and town before him. It was an easily defend-able position, with water to his North and South and the plain with the village to his west. He intended to send troops down from the hill to fight while still maintaining a position at the top. There was only about thirty buildings in the village, and the citizens had been instructed to protect their homes or join the camp. This is where Aggoras decided to fight.

In the Scandin mountains...

Refugees from the battles in South Scandin had run to the mountains, following empty tales of civilization west. They have trekked for years, making camp every few weeks before moving on. Finally, they reached a settlement under the flag of Ardovicia and requested refuge. Offering anything of value they had. The Ardovician's response would ultimately determine the entire fate of the people of Southern Scandin.

Sveden
Darius II, the commander assigned to quell the Scandins in Sveden, marched through the hills, along with 2,500 soldiers, to a small village to the north. It was a small village, but it was still a potential target. Darius ordered to march in to the village and burn it to the ground and continue their march after the village was gone.

We have heard that you are in a war with the peoples of Sveden. As such, as your ally, we thought we might help you in this in some way. We would like to acquire/purchase your southernmost province of Sveden, the one that borders the Kattegat, and is the springboard into Copenhagen. In return, we will hand over the northern Sudety, which, though a small area of land, would make your borders more complete. We would also help you fight them, with our considerable naval strength, as well as get rid of many of their people; we have methods with which we can remove their population to a place where they can cause no trouble, which means you can take over the land more peacefully, and with less revolts after you are done, as well as with some more Ostyrlonians (as that is what most of them are, since most of them in the north of our corridor have moved south) in your land. We hope you will consider this carefully, and look forward to a somewhat accepting and positive, if negotiable response.
From the Emperor of Ardovicia

To the Emperor of Ardovicia,
You need not purchase the southernmost provence of Sveden if you are going to give Ostyrlonia Northern Sudety. However, if you do not aide Ostyrlonia in destroying the Raegandar, you will have to pay for the province.

Dubawant Lake, Sitiyok Territory

Image

Phase 3
Inuit infantry pulled back to regroup and the meet with reinforcements from Kawana which was steadily becoming the most populous region in the Union. There would be 9,000 soldiers on their way at once , In the mean time partisans from the Sitiyok aided the troops, who pushed the front back several Miles into the Nunavut territory beyond the holy mountain and hundreds pilgrims rushed to pay respect to their ancestors. After the soldier's set up camp, they set up camp the Inuit troops fell asleep peacefully knowing that the reinforcements would arrive soon. Upon arrival they would embark for the Tribal Capital of Sitiyon.

" Wait, stop everyone" a private who was trained to be a scout by the elders said.
" There's something not right up ahead"
The soldiers watched the tops of the trees that swayed back and forth.
" Its an ambush" Commander Inaakot said from behind his leather shield.
He then ordered his men to draw their weapons and enter the woods with caution.
Thwish
the arrow grazed the commanders nose and fell into the snow a few yards away. The infantry rushed through and attacked mercilessly slaying the ambush team bloodying their axes and knives for the first time. These archers were no match for the force of Inuit's, That then pushed forward still forcing them to retreat.
Another camp was forming in the distance the smoke was billowing over the treetops.

Phase 4
the reinforcements arrived at the camp which was ransacked with tons and tons of clothes and food left to rot or freeze rather. They found a trail of a thousand men's footprints in the the snow leading through the open bare trail that led into a valley which Sitiyon was settled. there commander found a few men chopping wood and setting up
"what is the meaning of this?"

" Respect sir, but the princess told us to stay back and make camp in case they fail to take the capital."

"She already started the siege"
he paused.
" This isnt good "
the reinforcements tracked the prints into the woods lurking further and further into Sitiyok Territory
"There They are"
The men joined with the main forces surrounding Sitiyon outskirts. They were dowsing the city with oil and getting ready to light the walls ablaze.
"Princess, Stop it this instant"
he grabbed her shoulder and pulled it in his direction , she met him with a swift blow to the cheek.
" I know what father said but i cant let these warmongering savages deface our great nation."
The Final Phase

All order and command was disbanded two bitter foes waged war on one and other this truly was a fight to behold. Inuit Troops Numbering in the 18,000's now annihilated the Sitiyok army numbering at 9,000. arrows were shot, axes thrown , men disembowled, human blood spilt. the Princess Anakaalit seemed to be perfectly at peace and in her own happy place as she hacked and maned every soldier she came into contact with The battle lasted through the night and ended with surrender of Sitiyok Tribe leader who was to be removed from his throne and placed into the counsel to represent his people. With the extinguishing of Sitiyon came the extinguishing of the Sitiyok spirit.

Results:

* victory to The INUIT UNION
* Annihilation of The NPC in Nunavut/ Eastern portion of West Canada
* Annexation of Said province
* Costly war ( unstable economy)
* Spread of Gaianism
* Inuit forces reduced to 8,000 active

"Stand your ground men!"

Soldiers held out their shields infront of them while archers on horseback attempted to get rid of barbarians who were still charging. Some tried to toss their torches at the incoming soldiers in an attempt to force them back whilst others just held out their shield and axe.

Meanwhile, 1,000 soldiers fell back and attempted to hold up defensive positions in the town. They killed any civilian who stood in their way as they made defenses on rooftops and in windowsills. Most of these men were archers, though some were melee infantry. The regular infantry would normally stand outside of the houses, however, finding cover behind wells and such.

Aggoras watched from the hilltop, seeing the battle before him. The town was lost, as defensive fortifications could be seen being made by the enemy. He called his aide.
"Vernas, tell the commanders to fall back out of the town and to burn it. Order another three thousand soldiers to encircle the town from the plain, no one gets in or out of this village."

So the nine-thousand fell back, losing roughly a tenth of their initial forces. The reinforcements from the hill moved into the plain, surronding the town with lake to the North and Northwest, the hill of Aggoras to the East, and the Encircling Armies to the Southwest, and the town was torched with the Ostyrlonians inside of it.

"Put out that damn fire!" Soldiers scrambled and tried to put out the fires all around it, with few spots actually opening up. The thousand men inside burned to death, except for about 50 lucky soldiers who managed to escape with their lives.

In the distance, the 1,550 soldiers began to charge head-on in to the Raegandars, hoping to knock them back and in to the fires. They hoped that they could use the enemy's offense to their advantage here, but they were unsure how it would work out.

"My adversary is a wise leader indeed." Aggoras pondered as he saw what was left of the attacking force attempt to push Aggoras' men into the fire. He hoped they'd remembered their training, as he saw the soldiers attempt to part, not to fall back. This was good, as the his forces all condensed into this final engagement.
Then he saw a group of soldiers running from the plains, this could jeopardize the entire battle;
"Horsemen, circle the enemy!"
Forty mounted horsemen charge to encircle the fleeing soldiers.

The remaining archers, which were very sparse, attempted to take out the enemy horsemen. They weren't aiming for the horsemen themselves, but their trusty steeds. If they managed to kill their horse, or atleast injure it, that would buy some time for the force.

Meanwhile, the soldiers who charged at the Raegandar began to fight with those near the flames, attempting to push them in to the flames, though the melee was a constant back-and-forth, with both armies trying to dodge the flames. However, it appeared as though the Raegandar were not budging, which displeased Darius. "How in Harzeth could those barbarians still be alive and fighting? They should've been miles in to the forest by now, retreating!" he thought.

Aggoras watched the archers masterfully alternate fire between the horsemen and the flames around them. This was the most talented force he'd ever encountered. He understood it was too late to command his forces, but he still had reinforcements. He ordered the remaining fifty horsemen in his camp to assist the pursuers of the soldiers.

It was too late to stop the battle in the flames, so he just had to let it play out.

Seeing the reinforcements, Darius cursed to himself. "WHY ARE THEY NOT RETREATING?" yelled Darius to Frenklyn of Gyrium, the commander of the horsemen, "I want you to push those heathens in to the fire or in to the water, do you hear me? I WANT THEM DEAD!"

"Yes, my commander," said Frenklyn as he gathered 25 other horsemen to counter charge the Scandins. The combat intensened as all of the soldiers were scattered. Some were in the hilltops, some by the flaming villages, and others fighting off calvary or archers. It was a mess, but Darius couldn't get his troops back in to formation, not this deep in to the battle. If he tried, he would be shot at by archers for being a commander. So, he just let the remaining soldiers fight amongst the enemy whilst Darius commanded those in the hills, the only soldiers that were in formation.

The remaining fight inside the flames began to die down, as the sheer number of the Raegendars overwhelmed the force, and the twenty remaining horsemen from the original group caught up to the soldiers and attempted to surround them. Meanwhile, the remaining eight thousand soldiers not intended to fight today were forced to defend the hill, as Aggoras made a decision.
"Vernas, offer them the option of surrender."
His Second-in-command rode down on Aggoras' own horse, parting the reinforcements holding a black coloured rock, the traditional offering of unconditional surrender offered to an enemy if the commander was talented.

SIC (Secretly-In-Character): *stating about this event is considered godmodding and not respecting a secretly-in-character part of a post
Zaragoza, Aragon

"The 'United Monarchs of the Mediterranean' eh? Well, let's see who will be the real Rey of the Mediterrano." The King of Aragon remarked as he poses a challenge for himself and checks the newly-organized list of fleets of the Spanish Armada, the naval force of the Spanish royal armed forces. He convenes with his council of war and his Aragonese merchants from the Spanish Mediterranean Company about the plan to expand the Crown of Aragon to its heights. Skipping over the claim at Gerona and Baleares, he concentrates on the domains of the bickering Rylonian empire at Italy. The meeting was in secret and even the King of Spain's agent never knew of such.

"Look here, my Senors. The Rylonian navy can be weak because of the imminent attacks of the pirates from Ardovicia, and as we had gathered our professional armies ready to embark on a journey, we will land and conquer with surprise in this island, *points to Corsica*, then we sail again to invade Sassari *points at the north of Sardinia* and invade Cagliari. After which, we will attack Salerno and the nearby towns, then will invade the whole of South Italy and subdue it under our flag." The commanders and merchants nodded as they agree. "Then, the ships will blockade the ports of Sicily and ravage the Mezzogiorno while the people of Palermo, Messina and Catania will starve to death because of food blockade by our fleets. Then, we sail to Malta and do the same as what we did in Sicily, then to Crete and lastly, to Cyprus."

But as they agreements go, the denials and oppositions rose. "But, your Highness, our treasury cannot accommodate such large and ambitious campaign like this. This needs a large funding from the Royal Treasurer." "That's why the merchants are here to participate. Their private vessels will be armed with cannons and small bombards to make sure that as quickly and skillful as they can in sea, they can use such prowess in naval battles. Our merchants may not participate, but they now see this as an opportunity to expand our markets all over Europe!" The commander calmed down after getting the point why merchants are at the planning process. "And in addition, the merchant ships, however small or big they are, still has its purpose. Now, for the Spanish Mediterranean Company, I need the numbers of your total number of ships you will share with the Aragonese navy." The merchant in fine clothing and jewelry stood up, seemed like a superior from the Market Guild. "Senor, we have 213 merchant cogs, each capable of carrying 50 men and is able to be armed with 2 bombards each. Beyond the small size, we can assure higher mobility and maneuverability at high seas. We have been sailing for years and that alone is the proof of our tough prestige in navigation and seafaring." "Absolutely fantastic. This campaign could end earlier than I projected!"

IC (In-Character):
Madrid, Castile

The King of Aragon went to the palace of the King of Spain to discuss a matter two of them in the court must only meet with. The court was filled with aristocrats, philosophers, scholars, rich people, traders who were members of the Market Guild, and armored knights from Spanish military orders flock the King's court. The lesser king and the high King of Spain had a long dialogue with each other for about two hours. The people who were trying to listen to the dialogue of the king from another chamber only hear loud shouts and yells, probably a debate.

The Aragonese king exited the King's chamber, sweating from the harsh debate with the King. The court's audience looked at the Aragonese king with contempt and probably, anger, having the impression that the Aragonese king had disrespected the highest ruler in Iberia. After the King of Aragon fled the court, the people walked back to the King's court and continued their happy chatters.

Spanish merchant entourage for Sveden

The Spanish ship stopped at an Elmetian port to postpone their trip to Sveden due to the ensuing war there. It will be dangerous if they continue to their journey to the Baltic state. Hence, the Baltic Company is in fear of dissolution, but the hopes are still high. A merchant was viewing from his ship the beauty of the Low Countries: the vast ocean, the plain green fields and the happy people. He uttered, "How I wish my family lived there in contentment."

New Morocco expansion

The armies of New Morocco went on a conscription of natives that are able to survive the harsh weathers of the Sahara. The 2,500 men of de Saavedra added newly-recruited 3,000 natives armed with spears and makeshift swords, enough to be terrible for invasions. Few of the cannons barely are used, beyond the supplies sent from Spanish mainland. Reinforcements of 1,000 men are on their way to the newly-conquered land to assert authority and power over the natives. Meanwhile, UTD is sure to prepare for another invasion of the Spanish as scouts probe around their next target area, which is the lands east of the new-invaded lands. de Saavedra's men are on their slow way to the said area and seem to take months to reach there.

The secret of successful conquests - Horsemanship

Since the ancient times, the ancestors of the Castilians and Spanish peoples were known to be great horseriders. Despite the mountainous region they live in, horses were used as the muscle power of the tribes and they are plentiful of it in Spain. Currently, the environmental census of a university in Asturias showed that there are 30,000 horses living in Spain alone. The trainers of tamed horses, called "Jinetes". They are peasants who had special interests in horses and without a doubt, the best teachers of Spanish horsemen and Knights in the course of horseriding. The Jinetes were not that popular in Spain due to their place in the social class, despite being the catapult for Knight to rose to fame. Most Jinetes were recruited as Knights and taught at training of chivalry at Spanish military orders, paid and fed by their own expense. Some Jinetes were simple people who live in the pleasure of simplicity and with great principles in life.

OOC: Don't worry, I want to get through this war soon anyways. Besides, I like to finish off battles the day they begin. Otherwise, it's just to hard to keep up.

Darius looked at a few soldiers holding a black rock and realized what it meant. Not wanting to lose any more soldiers over a battle in Sveden, Darius accepted the unconditional surrender and awaited to see if the Raegandar would take the remaining soldiers as prisoners of war or if they would let them go.

Demain
The colonists began to move southward, towards the location specified on the map as to where their new colony was. They treked for a few days before reaching a large gulf. They decided to build a port on the gulf's coast, calling their town New Demain.

Aggoras requested to see the commander, and then he realised he wouldn't be capable of communicating with him very well, so he assigned one thousand men to escort these captured soldiers to a village to the East and to learn the language. Meanwhile, Darius was treated as equal, as Aggoras recognized the skill in his leadership, hopefully he would soon be able to effectively communicate with him.

Heridos
As the sun rose over the city, Robaer woke up in his bed. He stretched, rubbed his eyes, and was startled by a messenger standing at the foot of his bed. "Dear Erhman, man," cried the Evris, "Don't scare me like that!"

"Sorry, sir," said the man, "I didn't mean t-"

"Bah, don't worry! Just tell me what needs to be known"

"It's about Sveden, sir. We have reports that over 2,500 men were either killed or captured, including Darius II"

Robaer made his hands in to a fist. "What the Harzeth happened?! THOSE DAMNED SCANDINS MANAGED TO FEND OFF AGAINST THE OSTYRLONIAN MILITARY?!?!" The Evris yelled at the top of his lungs as he tried to become calm again. "Send eight thousand troops to Sveden NOW! I want that capital of theirs to be completely leveled! I don't want to see a single brick to be left standing in the barbarian capital after we invade!"

"Yes, me' lord" said the messenger as he left the room. Later that day, 8,000 troops were being mobilized and were headed out to Sveden, where they would march to the Raegandar capital and torch it. This time, the soldiers had access to hand cannons, which allowed for a powerful advantage over the heathens to the north.

Spanish merchant ship redirected

"Quickly, quickly! We must go leave fast! Go go go! Raise the sails! Let's get moving!" The crew of the merchant's ship went to haste in packing up and prepared to sail to leave as news reached to them that the battle had been won by the Raeggandar soldiers against the more powerful Ostyrlonian troops. The merchant was reading the news written in scrolled paper. "Bring this to our friends in Elmet, and in Ukraine. They'll be surprised." The ship finally left the Elmetian docks and sailed back to Spain to recant their trip to the Baltic because of the war there. But as they leave the English channel, a crew presented a list of checkpoints where to stop when Sveden cannot be available. He forgot his contingency plan. So, he ordered his men to redirect the course of the ship, cross the Baltic and reach the land called Bakarus.

There was no early notice for the Moscow inhabitants of their coming, but at least they can expect as the galley was large enough to be noticed up ahead.

Spanish trade around the world

It was undocumented but treated as unprecedented by most of Spanish merchants as a growing success. The secrets of Aragon is only the bit of what has the world shall see from Spain. Spanning a large trading route ever in the world, the merchants are crossing all seas, except the Atlantic, crossed the Indian Ocean and even traded with faithful allies with innumerable resources. The trading partners of Spain were the ports of Elmet, Ardovicia, Ostyrlonia and Ukraine, then to the Arabian deserts of Mouhd Alad, to the scattered Hindu states in the Indian peninsula, and will even reach to the ports of Baltic Bakarus. Truly, no one can stop Spain except the Lord Providence and itself, who in His great will, the followers in Spain shall rise as the sole power in the Sea. Thus, the expanse of the Royal Treasury was increasing largely. Soon, states will need Spain's trading routes and flourish their own economies with Spain as well. The merchant fleets were of large sets and numbers as they travel around Asia, Africa and Europe to imbued the markets of Spain in their towns, and conquests were merely decorations for the growing Empire.

The headquarters of the Spanish Far India Company in Malaka was demolished after scouts discovered it was an occupied domain. Quickly, they demolished their Hall and ran to their galleys to avoid any unnecessary conflicts during the exploration. They sail to the other side of Malaka, in a place called "Aceh". They settle for the meantime and realized it was unoccupied, so the merchants built again their port station there and sent messages to the King of Spain and to the travelling merchants along the way to Mosuo, Nippon and in the Hindu states, which trade routes has to be redirected to Aceh then to Seville and Lisbon.

▓▫The Queendom of Mosuo▫▓

摩梭

1416 - Strange people were sighted as one Mosuo vessel sailed towards Egypt. The vessel looked extremely different, and had peacher skin on board, all male (Spain). The all female crew were surprised that there would be such people out here. The smell of a sweet fruit (Tomato) can be smelled from it's cabins from the distant away blending in with their fish. It was pretty good smelling, but some smelled a bit rotten.
1417 - Bao Yuanniang grows worried about Bubonic Plauge. It had begun to strike the streets of some of the Western Mosuoite cities and killed a total of 18,000 people. Along the Silk Road, the city of Merk's population drops majorly as bubonic plague strikes the city streets. It was reported the plague was carried by trade and is now heading towards some other western cities. The Empress orders primary duties to herbalists and introduced something called Acupuncture, which conducts the needle to the skin correct the flow of the qi.
1418 - Empress Bao mentions ideas of expansion to the north. She had begun to train some new troops, about an army of 6,000 troops in the next 15-17 years, due to more elite training.
1419 - Empress Bao falls ill due to eating something in her food, and had felt that someone had poisoned her. Her daughter, Princess Bao Angxi had begun to take control of her mother's position, but cared about her mother, so dedicated her time to help her sicken mother.

▓▫The Kingdom of Ukraine▫▓

People rejoice as the new flag of Ukraine in 1416 raises up in spirit of taking the old Odessa flag down. All over the Kingdom, people rejoice hailing the Ukrainians for her marvelous achievements, and power. "Україна! Україна! Наша Батьківщина Україна!" was all that was heard throughout Kiev, Odessa, Sevastopol and mostly with the roaring cries of excitement, Tbilisi. Makarpol (Pontus) however, did not really felt all of that happy as the others were. The People of Pontus and mostly Markapol disliked the Ukrainians for just attacking their lands like that. Although not able to do anything now, they are planning to do something far later.

Kiev - 3 years ago
Meanwhile, Juan's audience was finally accepted in waiting, as the King's guards had came down to greet Juan and guided him up into the castle in Kiev. It was quite a large, slavic-styled castle that was erected in the 1300s by the first Litovchenko. The current king, Litovchenko V smelled the tomatoes near and looked down as he saw the man coming towards him. "Someone's been eating breakfast." he said laughing with one of his guards. Some of his guards smelled like breakfast too, since they had some typical lamb and onions. He gestured. "Welcome." he said from his throne. His wife, Queen Anatalya was near him, also greeted him.

1417 - Ships had begun to set sail from the Black Sea, into the Mediterranean in a few months with a fleet of 3, and a few soldiers and explorers. They set and destine to trade with the Far East and Africa to the south.
1418-1419 - The Explorers had been out at sea for two years after passing through the Gibraltar Channel and went out into exploring the side of Africa.
1420 - Explorers had explored most of the western African horn, until noticing a turn. The sailors had decided to go and see what was on this side, perhaps something interesting might pop up, and perhaps stock up on Provisions, for they were getting low, and some were growing rotten. Meanwhile in Ukraine, a force of 20,000 soldiers, 8,000 of them being Cossacks, a few who had siege weapons and some who were armed with arquebuses marched towards Northern Bilorus' (Belarus) to take the rest of the region. They begun marching from Kiev to Minsʹk (Minsk) and prepared to go towards the north. The King believes this might start some sort of conflict... he just feels that his Northeastern Neighbors, Bakarus is up to something....

.....

Meanwhile, a message had arrived to the King of Ukraine where Spain is urgent need. He opened it, and begun to read it. He looked at the Spanish Messenger. "What is the issue?" he said before beginning to read it.

"Your Majesty, Father Spain shall bring Mother Ukraine up and raise her to the skies and bless her with gifts and prosperity, whether be it by incense or by blood, just for the sake of progress and growth of our nations. Such honor shall be given to you, your Majesty, and by accepting the terms, we believe that the right decision is to agree with it by your blessed wisdom." The messenger replied as he still retains his chivalric bow to the king of all Ukraine.

Litovchenko read it as he listened to the man who had sent it to him, and looked down as he gave a nod. "The Spanish are a noble type of man, the land of the great red fruit, and powerful navies will never be denied." As he continued to what the letter he had read stated, he looked it over once more and then stroked his beard. He looked down at the messenger, gesturing his servant to get a piece of paper to write. "What shall Father Spain do for Mother Ukraine in this situation?" he asked as he gestured his wife to come over to him. Anatalya gave the man a nod. "It's great to have you in Kiev by the way." she said to him. "One of your merchants were here, quite the charmer, but didn't interested me. Litovchenko just gave a glare but a small chuckle. "Ah, don't worry about it dear." he said to her laughing. Anatalya looked at the paper and the King looked forward at the messenger.

Litovchenko before doing anything, looked at his wife. "Well dear? Do you agree?" Anatalya looked at the terms carefully. She was a little suspicious about the deal, but no matter, Spain would be a strategic ally. Stroking a strand of her hair piece, she gave an approval nod. "Yes, I do. Spain is very useful for us. Sign it." Litovchenko turned back and wrote a letter stating that he is approval of all terms and puts his signature on it, and before handing it to the messenger, let Anatalya sign it too. Once it was all done, it was handed back to the messenger. "May Mother Ukraine and Father Spain's alliance become stronger between our wisdom and power." he said in praising, raising his hand.

The response to these refugees had already been well established, and a well-defined protocol. As they came into quiet Ardovician Dardensia, they were rounded up, arrested, and told that their fate would not be as brutal as death, but close; they would be deported to live in colonies that would have to pay tax to Ardovicia. For now, they were merely interned, but there were plans soon to send them to Africa.

To the Evris of Ostyrlonia,
We have heard that you are in a war with the peoples of Sveden.

~Evris Robaer III

To this Evris of Osyrlonia,
We thank you for your understanding, though we hope you also understand that we will not quite be fighting them as quietly depopulating them, leaving the way open for you. We look forward to a good relationship in these field, and appreciate your immediate handover. Thank you.
From the Emperor of Ardovicia

The ships began blockading Svedish ports, while soldiers began to move in, first to take control of the ceded province and next to go from there to start capturing Svedes for deportation in an ambitious colonial project. Ardovicia's overseas ventures would hopefully, by this gamble, be the greatest.

Razghora (name of the pirate state)
The pirates had swelled their numbers enormously, and were now expanding left and right. They had already managed to effectively take control of the lands between Egyptian and mainland Africa Medu-Canaan, and had already begun expanding inland. Now, they plundered Mediterranean vessels left and right, stealing, raping, looting, raiding and doing it all. They purchased vast amounts of old ships from the Ardovician navy, and fixed them up, making them buccaneers, taking control of the seas. These corsairs began planning, plotting, scheming, getting more powerful and loot flooded in.
