Oh, Stella married Raphael and moved back to her country. And I figured having three characters at once would be way to difficult. Not to imagine Aurelia's planning ways to free herself from Alex.

One correction: Nadezhda is a vila, not a human. Vila are creatures from Slavic folklore that rather resemble Greek nymphs. They differ in that they have often been incorporated into Christian traditions. Additionally, unlike nymphs, they possess control of winds and take pleasure in causing storms. In one story, a vila kills a companion of the Slavic hero Prince Marko because she envies his voice. However, at the end of the same tale, she agrees to heal the man whom she has just murdered in cold blood, at the prompting of Marko. He can try. She'll probably think that he's creepy, though, and spurn him accordingly. His gifts aren't good enough for her anyhow. His name is too American, and he lacks the obligatory attractiveness to give her gifts. Wait... Did I go into character already?

After all, Milosevic committed genocide and ethnic cleansing against the Bosnian population less than a decade ago. That's rather important history, especially considering the status of Serbia in Eastern Europe. The population was fairly well educated and "civilized".
