Ah, better.
Though his years of service suggest he is a veteran. The Master of the Ravenwing, for example, is around 200 years. The oldest Ultramarine is 400, and calls Calgar 'little Calgar', since he is around 230. So if he's a new brother, Id say he has around fourty years of service.

Personality:
Brother Cruziatus is unflinching and unmerciful to the enemies of the Imperium, and has not an inch of give in his iron spine. That said, he cares deeply for the common man, and strangely enough the advancement of mankind. It was he, in ages past, that helped solidify the Chapter's love for their less powerful brothers. As a former Techmarine he maintained the technology of the Chapter, and has less love for the Mechanicus than most, for he sees no profit in rituals and muttered incantations, but power in wisdom and ingenuity.
Years of Service: Brother Cruziatus saw his first battles as a Scout in the Chapter in the years after the Heresy, as the loyalist Chapters drove the Traitor Legions into the Eye. He has fought in innumerable campaigns, and only after fighting in single combat with almost the entirety of an Ork Waaaaaggghhhh in the aftermath of failed orbital insertion did he fall. When his Battle-Brothers came upon his ravaged body they had to ease through a sea of green corpses estimated to be nearly five hundred Boyz strong to retrieve his corpse. But the service of Cruziatus to his father, the Emperor, was not yet at an end; life still clung to his body, for his work was not yet complete. He was carried back to Sirius, and interred in a powerful Dreadnaught. From his iron coffin the Battle-Brother serves the Imperium and the Chapter, providing his allies with ancient wisdom and his foes with the death they so rightly deserve.
