The outside of the ice cream carton was beginning get slippery from all the condensation, so Deader circled around toward a table and put it down.

Finduin turned sharply in the direction Deader had indicated, and noticed Ogoti with some uneasiness. She had been feeling very lonely only a moment earlier, but now, meeting two strangers all at once, who didn't even seem to know each other particularly well, was beginning to feel like too much. She realized, now that she had had a sizable drink, how achingly hungry she was. She knew she ought to greet the newcomer out of courtesy, but at the moment she all she could think of was food. She gave a polite nod to Ogoti and managed a small smile, before turning back towards Deader. "Please pardon me if I am disturbing you, but do you know where I can find something to eat? I am so hungry..." She trailed off, feeling rather embarrassed to be so dependent on a stranger for her most basic needs.

"Ah! Food. Yes. There are plenty of places I believe; frequented by ...a relative of mine, and her friends. But I am not so sure about where they are, only their names. One is called Chaos. Perhaps this man would know?" Deader's robes shifted in the way that they would if a person underneath them were raising an arm to scratch their head.

"In any case, I should be getting back to my own rooms. There is something I must finish before three more hours have passed. So, with your excuse...?"

"Eh, they might have run off in the apartment someplace." Bran shrugged. While he wasn't prepared to let Rachelle wander the building (He was more trusting of a dark alleyway than the hallways of the apartment), but she was with friends. "Well, I guess we can go and look for them."

"I'll stay with Tolya, you two can look." Rylli smiled.

"Nah, Sid, we got to find the candy. They might not even know we're gone by now. We need to get the French's candy." Rachelle said, an adventurous glimmer in her eyes.

"Unless we need to go home, but Bed time is a long way off."

Yoshi had searched the floor of the building that katya lived on, the same as him actually, so no avail. He decided that she must be off with Dora. That made him a little jealous, but he loved her too much to care. If she was happy, then so was he. He went back to his room. The sound of plastic sliding against bamboo could be heard and he pulled out his violin case. He then climbed up the stairs to the roof and sat down, taking in a deep breath, taking a moment to feel the crisp, cool air on his face. *Snap* he opened the case and put the instrument to his shoulder and proceeded to play away.

As the roof access door opened, Dora let go of Katya's hand and instead wrapped her arm around Katya's waist, sneaking a quick kiss. She began to reach into her pocket for the magic lighter from the bazaar, but paused as she saw Yoshi and his violin there.

"Well, better see what your other third wants," she drawled, somewhat resignedly, indicating Yoshi with a nod.

Klaus crept out of an upturned bottle cap. He drew a lawn chair from it and settled into the roof's shadows. The faint smell of popcorn was in the air.

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Primordial pulls out his watch and resting a hand on Arthurs shoulder opens it.

When he closes it they're standing in a different room of pure white. the bleanch surfaces seem empty and painfully cold in relation to where they are, the room lack any corners or edges and each of the walls ends by smoothly blending with the ones near it. In the center of the room floats a white ball of milk like liquid that ripples as they appear. Primordial puts the watch away while breifly checking something on his PCPU before turning back to his guest. "The whole things vocally automated with a high level AI so just ask it for whatever you want." He says before step back from the center of the room to give him some space.

"Well, no harm on her then, it's a natural thing. I always wanted to visit Paris." Rylli grinned, unaware of the delicious irony from that statement. Her own daughter beat her mother to it. It was probably something she'd hold against her for the rest of her life.

"Yeah, not very helpful, maybe they'll go and eat a snail or something." Rachelle shrugged. "Or whatever they eat. I hear Japan has good candy as well, we should try there sometime." She nodded, walking along with her friends out of the park.

Now it seemed there was no food here, and she felt she hardly had the strength or the courage to venture out of the house in search of something to eat. She managed to say to Deader, "Of course. The thought of having to leave the house had made Finduin very distraught, so she hastily combined an introduction with a plea, as she spoke to Ogoti. The thought of what she had experienced outside the house; the noise, the smells, the terrifying entities and elements that she couldn't interpret, made her feel weak with fear, and she walked unsteadily to a chair and sat down, mortified to be so impolite as to sit while the stranger stood, but feeling too faint with hunger and fear to stand.

"Wait a bit," Dora responded, still enjoying the scent of Katya's perfume and the feel of her lips. "Your other third here wants to talk."

"Well now," she murmured to himself. The PI was getting less and less impressed with the state of Katya and Yoshi's relationship by the minute. Both were good people in their own right, but for all that they were affectionate to each other, their relationship was hollow. There wasn't any support behind it. Although she didn't know for certain that Yoshi had been one of those caught up in the nudity spree earlier, she could make a reasonable guess, given the uproar plus the state of her own group. Given Yoshi's initial worries about what might have happened between Katya and herself, Katya running off to find her instead of helping Yoshi out wouldn't help matters. Then, too, there was the tension that she'd sensed from Katya earlier - not that it had been that hard to do so. At least that appeared to be resolved fairly easily, with a kiss and the promise of a conversation.

She had no way to know about Swith's warnings to Yoshi about Katya, but if she did, she would have found herself in the awkward position of siding with Yoshi against Katya. As it stood, she had to give him credit for not ogling her, dressed as she was in a sheer wrap under which she was still nude.

Of course Yoshi had definitely noticed how Dora was dressed, but didn't really care. He was focused and adorable Katya in her uniform. He had no way of knowing what Dora was thinking, but she was right of course, their relationship was in need of support. They did love each other, and they were happy together, but they weren't bonded like a couple should be. He longed for it though, and was determined to have it.

Finduin still felt weak, but now it was from relief instead of fear. The kindness of the man touched her deeply. She supposed he was a man, although his appearance was markedly different than that of Sigtrygg. Whereas Sigtrygg was fair-skinned, this man was darker than anyone Finduin had ever seen before. She immediately felt relaxed in his presence, and she no longer felt the need to try to keep up appearances. She made a cradle out of her arms which rested on a table and laid her head down upon it, and she spoke to the man in a grateful murmur. "Thank you, thank you, oh, thank you. Yes, yes, this is not my home, I do not even think it is my world. Oh, thank you so much, kind sir, for your kindness and your kind words." She wasn't sure how much sense she was making, but she felt that the man would understand her meaning, and she was content for now just to rest her head, eyes closed, and to enjoy the sounds and smells of cooking which, while not quite familiar to her, nonetheless seemed reassuring and very attractive to her gnawing appetite.

The eggs were soon resting on a plate. Ogoti added two pieces of toast and brought it plus a glass of orange juice to Finduin. He set this in front of her and placed silverware beside her.

"Eggs and toast. The eggs come from a chicken. The toasted bread most likely comes from a market nearby." He poured orange juice for himself and sat across from her.

"I'm Ogoti, a healer of sorts. I don't believe I caught your name."

There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

"Hmm? Oh, is this Japan? How do you do that . . ."

Rachelle didn't expect an answer, but waited for her friends to pick out some of the best candy. She had no idea what all the lines and symbols meant. She could be buying a can of broccoli for all she knew, and broccoli was something to be fed to Laika when Father wasn't looking, not something sweet to spend allowance on!

"Yeah, I'd go, be impressed, and then leave." Rylli shrugged. "The life of a tourist, I'd say. It wouldn't be worth it. I do want to see my hometown though, one last time at least. I haven't visited Mother or Father since I left. I need to see if the flowers I planted there are still around." She shrugged. Bran had the same experience as her, planting flowers where they lost their parents was something they both had in common.

"If the town's still around, it was a small village, right?"

"Yeah." She said. "You were from the city though, you don't understand the appeal."

"I suppose three minutes in a chemical room won't kill me." he said with a smirk as his writer came up with what would happen if he did so.

"How about something that surreally alters my perception and emotions, tapping into my primal urges?" Arthur said...

Before they knew it they were standing in a suburban house as morning came and Arthur's form was fully human. Music began to fill the air.

"I don't know why but today seems like it's gonna be a great day!" Arthur sang and opened the window to the view of cartoon robins.
There's something in the air that makes me feel like things are gonna go my way
The birds are chirping tweedly-deet, the sun is shining bright!
There's a skip in my step, a pip in my pep" he paused to take a deep breath of the chemicals in the air. "and I know why!" he added before running outside.

"Hey there mailman friend, any letters from my crush or Fortu?" he asked still singing.
"No" the confused mailman replied.
"Fantastic news, HaHaHaHa!" he laughed and snapped the mailman's neck before running into the street.

"Wonderful day makes me feel so happy that my face is numb!
My heart is racing along barapa pampam!" he sang as he marched now joined by several passers-by of various professions.
"So many places and people to meet, now that I've lost my job!
They say "Young man, the world's your oyster"" He suddenly stopped as the back ground characters were about to lift him up.
"Hey! Hey get the fuck off me! No! Fuck no!" he yelled, making them back up.

"Just give me second." He said and took another deep breath.
"Idon'tknowwhybuttodayseemslikeit'sgonnabeagreatday!
Lalalablahblahblahblah I should spend more time with my friends!" He resumed singing more rapidly. As the scene changed from the suburbs to a Spainish town.
"It's carpe diem, gotta seize the day, I'm gonna move to Spain and run with the bulls
And my crush and boss and friends and NVE will say "We were wrong about you Arthur!"" he sang as the scene changed again to the city.

"Hey Arthur!" a friendly stranger said.
"That's my name!" Arthur replied.
"Are you really gonna run with the bulls?" the stranger asked.
"Why would I do that?" Arthur said confused.
"Cause you said you were gonna!" the stranger answered.
"Come on man, that was like three days ago..." Arthur claimed, suddenly becoming raptor again in a blink. "...or was it?" he said and ripped the stranger apart in seconds.

As quickly as it happened, Arthur was back in his blood-stained human form marching and singing.
"Something today makes me feel fine and fancy-free
Much of the ocean is still unexplored, how did I get up in this tree?" he sang as the scenes were now rapidly changing into various odd circumstances.
"Now I'm over here, now I'm over there
Now I'm under this dude, now I'm back in the tree
Now I'm hanging out on the Moon with my very best friends, Alec Baldwin and Tom Cruise!" he sang with now with the two celebrities he played poker with.

"Get the fuck out of here!" Alec Baldwin said as the music cut.
"What?" Arthur asked confused.
"Now." Tom Cruise added.
"Tom!" Arthur protested.

The scene changed to a dark opera stage with a spotlight on Arthur in a tuxedo.

"Why would they dissssssssssssssssssss me?
I thought they were my poker buddiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiies!" Arthur sang in a different tone and took another deep breath. Before the scene changed to a strange lab, marching through accompanied by random lab technicians. Arthur resumed the previous style.

"Any problem is solvable, we can feed the hungry and cure disease
But all of that would be a huge waste of tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiime! because we live in an online forum!" he finished as the whole universe was now seen in text.

"Okay, I've had enough. That is too much." Arthur said exhausted, not particularly fond of how the universe looked right now.

Swith laughed. "Well, one of these days we'll go back there for a proper visit. I missed out on too much last time."
