Scientists move deeper, and deeper into the installation as more supplies, and equipment are brought in from the ships in orbit. The eager scientists are accompanied by soldiers whom are there to protect them, and to stop them from doing something stupid like spilling coffee on a control panel, and accidentally firing the halo array.

The Citadel

In recent news, Captain K'Knuckles has been commissioned his own starships to continue out his "adventures." Our medical officers are still weaning the young boy off of heroin, and the sentient whale is being housed in a research facility. However, all 3 patrons are still able to communicate with one another via holograms and inter-galactic Skype. Captain K'Knuckles was last seen piloting his ship towards the galactic hub known as the Citadel.

[Tetryx]

"Activate the Hyperspace drive and get us to the Tailoris system now, computer." The Admiral said watching as the fleet began warping and then the Motherships warped. They noted that is was uninhabited, which was a good thing considering they were picking up a Ryrian Zerg Fleet heading their way. "Man the battle stations, ready all weapons, all systems to 150%!" The Admiral said before the Zerg Fleet exited Hyperspace and the Ryrians lost around 4 Cruisers from the first volley of missiles.

"Fire missiles!" Their missiles launched, propelling towards the mass of missiles heading towards the Tetryx fleet. Both of the masses exploded in a chaotic blast that shook the fleets with the resulting wave of energy sent towards them, knocking out the systems of a few of the ships in the front.

Another volley came from the Ryrians, hitting the disabled Tetryx ships and blowing them to pieces. One of the ships that were under fire from the Ryrian missiles survived due to it being a capital Battleship but it was heavily damaged. Its light flickered on and off as it slowly floated forward before an explosion ripped the central core apart, destroying a large chunk of the center sectors of the ship and effectively putting it out of service.

Soon enough the surrounding space was swarming with Ryrian and Tetryx fighters. Cannons, turrets, laser arrays and various other weapons were firing onto each fleet. The resulting hash mash of multiple waves of destruction resulted in the damaging of several ships.

The Tetryx Cruiser Victor had its lights flicker once before an engine blew from the missiles of a Ryrian Zeus Fighter. The Ryrian Frigate Tectonic was hammered by the fire of a Mothership, Railguns hammered its shielding with the resulting force causing a shield generator to blow, some of the rounds got through and caused a moderate amount of damage[it burst through the hull, though that closed up but was still slightly weak] before the shield grid took control of the opening in the grid and closed it up. The Tetryx cruiser Victor was flaming in the back and was slowly being engulfed in an unending fire that prompted the crew to attempt to evacuate the ship. As the Tectonic was hammered its Thruster Control Matrix blew and the thrusters went offline, its right engines were blown to pieces as Pulse Cannon fire ripped through the shielding and decimated the hull of the ship, its regeneration not fast enough to repair the damage.

The captain of the Tetryx Mothership firing on the Tectonic had grown tired of their Sister Race's anti-kinetic weaponry shielding and fired several of its Pulse Cannons, letting the weaponry of the utterly massive Mothership rip directly through it. For a moment the pieces of the Tectonic floated before a few of them blew apart. The Mothership switched its target and took out a Cruiser's engine with a Ion Beam directed to the center of it, that was one of the prototype's weaknesses. The Prototype Mothership Superweapon named Obedience fired one of its massive Pulse Cannons at another Cruiser watching as the Pulse ripped through its shield and its hull, effectively taking out the engines of the ship leaving only the thrusters for propulsion. The whole lower half of the Cruiser's Shield Grid was devastated and soon enough due to the massive amount of damage the ship blew apart. It fired up another larger Pulse Cannon and fired on another Cruiser, watching as the cruiser was completely engulfed and destroyed.

Its turrets opened fire on a group of bombers after they had released their missiles and bombs which bombarded the shielding of The Tetryx Ships, the turrets switched to Antimatter lasers and cannon fire and unleashed a volley that ate right through the bombers. The ship shook as the missiles and bombs blew, blowing out Deck 320's right side. The Obedience began unleashing hell upon the Carriers of the Ryrian fleet in an effort to destroy their Fighters and supply ships.

The Ryrian Mothership Snow fired one of its Coilguns and let it rip through a Tetryx frigate. It began firing its Railguns at one of the Cruisers, specifically the Grave a prototype ship that had just been put into the field. The Alien technology implanted into the Snow made it nearly as powerful as the Obedience though neither ship combined was as powerful as the Defiance. Each ship in the Zerg Fleets began opening fire, the Nexus Shields of each fleet had already been downed and the near-by meteors had been utterly destroyed by the fire of the fleets. The Defiance exited Hyperspace with several Motherships by its side, specifically the Julian, the Prometheus, the Disaster and the Glacier. Each of the massive Tetryx Motherships unleashed several hundred drones that began firing on the enemy fleet's Carriers, almost all of which were destroyed by now.

The fight between the fleets was extremely devastating though with the arrival of five of the Motherships of the Tetryx spelled doom for the enemy especially with the impressive arsenal the Defiance carried. The massive Defiance unleashed a burst of light purple energy that absorbed the shielding of a dozen or so Ryrian ships and blew through them, spreading metal shrapnel far and wide. It readied another burst of its Zero-Point Energy Weapons System(ZEWS) and fired upon the rest of the Carriers of the Ryrian fleet, one by one they fell. The other Motherships unleashed more drones and fired large missile volleys that devastated the enemy fleet bringing the total ships of the Ryrian fleet to less than a dozen. As the Defiance lurched forward its weapons system burst through the shielding of one ship, stayed on the hull for a few seconds before ripping through it and hit a Core, causing it to blow up a part of the ship which was now broken and drifting through space. The once massive Zerg fleet of the Tetryx was smaller, far smaller than it was and if the Motherships had not arrived the Zerg Fleets of the Tetryx and Ryrians would have annihilated each other.

The lights of Obedience flickered as it was evident that one of the Cores was destroyed, a massive hole ripped in the hull but luckily covered by structural integrity shielding ensuring it didn't break. The Snow unleashed a volley on the weakened Motherships in the original Zerg fleet right as a blast headed towards it, bursting through the Obedience and several other Motherships that now had their lights flicker off, they blew apart their back-up Singularity Cores creating a singularity that exploded outwards with enough force to destroy each other without any hope of repair. The Zerg fleets of both races were destroyed despite the back-up the Tetryx provided, the area now coated in fighters, bombers, pieces of ships, nearly destroyed derelicts and various other things that marked this area as what would forever be known as Life's Bane, the place where a battle so great took place it destroyed the surrounding area and the fleets in the battle destroyed each other.

This battle was a loss for both sides but it was just good that the Defiance and the other Motherships showed up when they did for they could not have documented this. They scavenged the area and picked up all the materials they could before entering Hyperspace and heading to their Home System, passing through the areas the Zerg Fleet had conquered happy that they had decided to have ships left there to protect them.

The Citadel

"AH boy, nothing better than some maple syrup and coasting through intra-dimensional irradiated shipping lanes," Captain K'Knuckles relayed to Bubbie and Flapjack through a hologram located on the bridge of his ship. "You crazy fool, you don't even know how fly FTL," Bubbie replied with your usual sass. "O shucks Bubbie! Captain K'Knuckles is the besta adventurer ever! He knows what he is doing!" Flapjack replied within the confines of a straight-jacket. "Shut up Boy!" K'Knuckles yelled angrily, shuttering from both the maple syrup and his ship exiting slipspace. "See! I know what I'm doing!" As the ships on board computer set a course for the docking bay. The Captain pulled out some more maple syrup, but a slight course adjustment made him spill his bottle, and the entire ship's VI system erupted into a cloud of smoke. "Uhhh... gotta go!" K'Knuckles replied to his friends before booking it to an escape shuttle.

Captain K'Knuckles ship refused to decelerate as it approached the docking bay. In fact, the station's artificial gravity seemed to accelerate the ship's approach. Captain K'Knuckles watched dazed from his escape shuttle as the ship plowed into the Citadel, erupting into a massive ball of fire and sending a massive shockwave across the Ward the docking bay was located.

"Oops," was all the he could say before being propelled into Slipspace.

The Volus have finally been convinced to join the federation. They have quickly found their way to be the dominant force in the federations economy with their economic skills. They are now an very appreciated part of the federation which hopes for the best of them.

The 3 Rannochian Vessels that had been launched by the Mass Relay now entered a new Nebula and ahead of them, they could see an immense space station. With exploration being their goal, the three ships continue moving forward.

3 More Habitable worlds have been found near Rannoch. Colonisation efforts have gone underway and the planets have been named thusly.

Oravor reinforcements have arrived in bulk to retake their captured colony. Both our forces and theirs were prepared right of the bat for an immediate engagement, and both sides faced considerable causalities after exchanging the first volleys. Unknown to our enemies, our scientists had cracked Oravor codes and standard fleet positions, and tactical EMP devices had been placed across the battlefield in orbit. Our right flank pretended to fall back into a retreat, taunting Oravor ships to pursue and trigger the EMP bombs. Now disabled, our forces were able to drive back the remaining Oravor ships and capture a sizable military populace.

The Empire has deemed Indigi to be firmly within our control.

In a hilarious twist the rakatir 2nd fleet has stumbleled upon another species of economic geniuses. The fleets admiral has already sent diplomats in order to talk and try to convince the Ferengi to join the federation. This has however made the new volus members suspicious of these new ferengi who they see as dishonest and ugly and also worse versions of themselves. The ferengi think the same about the volus though so it balances out.

The Hawking radiation from the slipspace ruptures began to randomly negatively and positively charge the Eezo on Thessia, causing the planets mass to fluctuate across different sectors. Unable to cope, this catastrophe began to crack the very mantle of Thessia, which tore apart violently as tectonic plates cracked and molten magma spilled into the vacuum of space as the atmosphere was thrown violently from Thessia.

The entire planet disappeared in a blue hase, obliterating everything on it.

Except for lemongrab. Whose vital juices replenished shortly after. He returned to Ooo on his rainicorn.

The destiny ascension and all it's technology go to the United Sangheli States, as the crew abandon ship in mourning at the loss of their home world.
