Gloria and Hammond had decided to leave the two superhumans, as neither one of them seemed to be very involved in the major events. They had decided to go to the center of everything in this country: The center of the government, the center of the Endless occupation, and now the center of the rebuilding. Washington D.C.

The board meeting was over and it was a success. Revenues had grown fifteen percent in the last quarter and the directors were pleased with his handling of the company. Not that their approval mattered, even if they weren't in his pocket. James' owned a good size of the shares himself.

He went to his office in the New York HQ and called Der Kommisar. Finding his number was easy enough.

Darin nodded at his men. Daniel stepped up first, which was predictable given how great he thinks he is. "Well I'm from LA, and I found out I was good at shooting stuff, so I joined the army and now I'm the best at shooting stuff." Daniel said. "Oh yea, forgot to mention, Daniel basically thinks he's the god of rifles. I'd love it if you could kick his ass in a shooting contest some time." Darin said to Alex. "I'd love to see him try." Daniel said quietly to himself as he stepped back in line. The next guy to step up was Earl. "I grew up in Denver. I graduated from West Point and I have been serving as a First Lieutenant in the US Army." He said before stepping back. The next to step up was Philippe. "I grew up in India and moved to the United States when I was 18 to go to medical school. One thing lead to another and I found I was rather skilled with a pistol, so I decided that I wanted to help the people who most deserved it, so I joined the military." He said before stepping back. Jake decided against talking, it wasn't really his thing, and Carson was to drunk to talk coherently so it was for the best that he didn't speak up. He was barely standing.

Der Kommissar had a ringing in his pocket he lowered his left hand to check his phone and saw that it was no number he recognized regardless he decided to pick it up cause you never know." Hello it is Xavier Camacho who is calling?"

Napalm walked past a smirking Flamoc, who was now standing and creating a strange pulsating smokeless fire(mystic fire). "Oh Arthur, if only you could stay out of trouble you could have helped your friends."
"If only you could lose the ego. You could be a great hero if you wanted to be." The duo began circling each other.
"And why would I do that? If you haven't noticed you are a wanted man with a bounty. I have nothing."
"I was framed. It was no fault of mine."
"So you say. You seem to be slipping Arthur. I will beat you."

"Not yet. Have some fun before you lose it all." With that, Flamoc walked away whistling and twirling his keys.

"Help me! She's right behind me!"" Inspector said a he ran down the street toward Mayfields house, Savior right behind him, Angelus came around the corner "Stop her! Fire Stun rounds!" He yelled as he fired his bolt pistol at her, Blood Eagles began to fire at Savior, who simply outran them. She ran toward inspector who was still running. Savior catched up to him and punched him

"Die Demon!" She yelled as she punched him, he slid toward Scarecrow. "Help me" He begged as he was picked up by Savior who threw him. The Blood eagles fired stun rounds into her, and she went down. Angelus ran up to her as she went down and catched her.

He turned to his warriors "Who gave her a drink?" He questioned, the Blood Eagles didn't answer.

[Damak Var]

"Your friend James Hathawell. I heard you were reprimanded by your superiors. I'm sorry that happened Mr. Camacho. You did threaten me and more. But I think you should be informed of something else. Don't worry, I'll make this short."

James sent him a short video he had taken from his estate's security footage. It was Der Kommisar on the lawn of his estate shooting waving a hammer.

"I've kept this because I thought we could have worked together. My mind has changed since you decided to discharge your firearm at me earlier. Given your circumstances, I do not believe your career with the Arbitrators will survive if they found out you attacked me on not one, but two separate occasions. That does not have to happen. As long as you stay clear of my affairs. Do you understand?"

"I should probably be helpin' Jess, but I'll put off the bad news 'til later... an' make her do all the work!" He added with a stupid laugh.

A group of Initiates walked up to Darins men, they where laughing. "Look at that armor!" One of them said.

"Yeah, that's some poor excuse for armor!" Another said.


"Nowhere near as finely crafted as this armor" One said. They where laughing at Darins men armor.

Sasha's familiar voice rang out in Cedric's head. So, I have a bit of interesting information. I believe you knew a Darin Herbert (Yes that is his middle name) Dashwood. Cedric immediately cut her off. Wait, his middle name was Herbert? Really! Sasha waited a bit for him to get over his laughter at that. If you're done, a satellite image just happened to catch him and 5 other men getting into an SUV. So, I did a bit of hacking into different traffic cams and such and tracked his path. Currently he is at the residence of the Colonel Mayfield who you also know. Cedric was still struggling to hold back his laughter now that he knew Darin's middle name. Set me a course. Within the next second a green line appeared in Cedric's HUD screen, which he followed over to Baltimore.
