Also, this makes me want to give at least one of the main characters an enchanted shovel as a weapon.
We need an Earth Elemental.
...I could do that.

I was thinking it could be actually like some sort of torpedo or something... remember, he's never seen most of the things, but if there is rumors of wars to happen and stuff, maybe something happened to drag them all there. Then again, it could have simply been someone farting in the same room as another lit a match...

Constaniana wrote:Well, the torpedo idea wouldn't work. Armour-piercing shells aren't a thing yet, and haven't really even been thought of, which has naval strategists wondering if ironclads are the epitome of warships, and naval combat has finished its progression. I suppose it's not too much of a problem with regards to me posting, though.

Alright, well didn't cannonballs have a slight armor-penetrating factor? Regardless, yeah, I'm curious to see what you say Erosen has run into...

Constaniana wrote:Well, the cannonballs can dent ironclad armour, which is how frigates fight them. Shooting smokestacks and cannons until they get dented shut is a legitimate and respected Gaiacan naval tactic. But yes, I've got a good idea for what Erosen has run into.

That was the impetus for the original PC's going on an adventure, when Aldraniri's "friend" Heilaga was kidnapped by Watchtower.
Also, posts will be a bit slow in coming for now, as I'm still too full of rage against Brazil, and the upcoming England/Italy war in the Amazon is producing a hormonal imbalance within me that is only increasing as Saturday approaches.

I'd boo, but then, I'm not one to talk, I left for like three days without notice. .
