Kassaran wrote:You done goofed up Comstaniana... READ the following closely. I'll help. This has not been editted at all except to help you see what you missed:
Erosen had initially been surprised to see the demonic beings, but now they were on the ice, and Erosen, very familiar with moving across the ice after having to deal with the freezing winters in his home-forest, dug in the tips of his toes and forced his nails to grow longer. Getting lower to the ground and cementing his position by planting his callused hands upon the white, he dug in his fingers with their now elongated nails and took a crouched and ready to pounce position. This was an unusual stance for him, but one he'd grown accustomed to using over the years. Moving forward with great speed, he moved to engage the first demon that was skating towards Tristan and the rest of the group. That group included the strange woman whom he assumed had teleported them both to these bewitched caverns.

Aiming for the demon's crutch, he reached out to grab hold of it while in flight, moving fast like an arrow across the chamber.

See it yet? :eyebrow:

Aiming for the demon's crutch, he reached out to grab hold of it while in flight, moving fast like an arrow across the chamber.

Let me further help you.

Aiming for the demon's crutch, he reached out to grab hold of it while in flight, moving fast like an arrow across the chamber.

Just to make it a little more obvious.

Aiming for the demon's crutch

Now, usually I'd not be so annoyed, but I'm truly not trying to be perverse in my way of thinking. On top of that, the "crutch" of which I was referring to was the Demon's Glaive which it was using to help itself glide across the ice... :palm:

Alright, alright, sheesh, calm down laddie. You being snarky isn't really helping. I'll edit out my witty bit of exposition on demonic biology. And for future reference, if you're going to correct me on something I'd appreciate if you didn't talk down to me like I'm some illiterate moron.

Well, the group's in a pocket Hell dimension now, although it's possible for Amata to be teleported to where the others are, since wibbly-wobbly-dimensionality. It would probably be best for you to use Zark's latest post as something to respond to. Sorry about school giving you trouble.

All right, then, I don't know if you've heard, but I was readmitted to the hospital. Pneumonia, apparently. I could have notified everyone by phone, but... well, in my defense, I was quite feverish. Can you help to bring me back up to speed? I'd really like to post in all my RPs tonight.

Sorry to hear about that. Anyways, Aldraniri started running ahead, when Charlie told him to stop being reckless or he'd never save his fiancée. Seeing as Aldry's immature, he got embarrassed at Charlie's assumption about how he felt about Heilaga, so he started arguing with Kroisoto, saying Kroie wanted to make babies with Charlie. Then, Ero-San decided to run ahead, finding a cavern with ten demons in it with rusty armour and glaives. Tristan, Richard, Ero-San and Eric ar currently fighting them. Eric's killed two already, Tristan's freezing the remaining demon's legs in place, and Ero-San is getting headbutted up the arse by one of the demons. Tristan froze over the whole cavern floor to make the demons trip up, as a word of warning.

I don't think he's too overpowered so far. Skilled, certainly, but that's to be expected from someone with decades of experience like him. Plus, demons aren't generally trained to skate on ice, so their movement's compromised, whereas it's probable that Eric's picked up ice skating in his travels. And considering almost all the other characters are superhumans with magic I don't mind Eric having more combat skill than most men his age with a bad knee should have. Maybe the ice skating is a bit easier form of movement for Eric since he doesn't haven to move his legs as much if he's gliding along, reducing the stress on his knee?

The only battles involving demons in the last war were the ones against Kayarost's massive legions.

Eh, that's true. I suppose it isn't too big a deal, and we could shrug it off as Eric fighting some scouting group from Kayarost's main force that went on a side raid as they marched south.
