Quick thing, he said the words in italics, not the regular font words. That was to show the meaning if anyone was familiar with the language of his homeland... if not, it was at least to show that he was capable of speaking and responding, if not entirely sure what he was saying.

Yelhennei, like all the other Elcrescian nations, speaks Galllish. When I said there were variations among Galllish caused by locality I was figuring differences in accent, pronunciation or spelling, not differences that render the language completely incomprehensible. This isn't a case of a Texan having trouble understanding a Glaswegian; this is a person from Wisconsin trying to understand a drunken Welsh Zulu who tried treating his cold with PCP. I'll just handwave this as a formal greeting using an old tribal language, but keep in mind that the characters are all speaking the same language.

The group finished the fight with the monster that attacked Tristan and found an old book explaining how the ruined castle they had been exploring was previously used by Fire Elemental Templar equivalents, who had gone off to try fighting against Kayarost and his army. I sent Tristan on a bus, so to speak, by having him come down with a more mild Galllian equivalent of chicken pox, where he'd be sick for a good while since I didn't know how long you'd be computerless but I didn't want to just kill him off. Skip to a week later and the party is about to set up camp for the night when they hear fighting nearby. They go investigate and find Alselia (sexy Daemoness from the original RP) fighting with a guy with long hair named Richard, and they're both using fire magic. Aldraniri intervenes in the fight to help the man, and Alselia gets driven off. Kassaran's character, a feral nature Elemental named Jonah, attacked Alselia with tree magic and such, and tried running away from the group but was stopped by Richard and Natalie (Neo Arcad's character) who was lurking in the trees and is undetected by the others so far. Jonah trios and falls unconscious and is kept restrained by Richard out of some curiousity of his and the fact that I can't have a character just run off out of the RP. The newest character, Eric, was napping in the nearby trees while the fight was going down, and offered to keep watch for the group while they slept. The next morning Jonah got loose and tried stealing food, though he seems to have settled down now, and Richard went into the centre of the graveyard to look at some old crypt/the next plot point.
