Dromund Kaas

Dark Citadel

“Failure is intorable and will not be accepted by Captain…Your continued failures are treason to the Imperial War Effort.” Darth Krujas formed the man calmly but beneath the controlled tone and commanding presence there was an undertone of sadistic glee. The Captain in question was being suspended by the Force in the Air his form literally being levitated and an almost crushing pressure just snaking and forming a vice around his throat.

Krujas had done this intentionally and he had slowly applied more and more power through the force; if he wanted he could have obliterated the man’s neck with a single twist of his arm.

“Now Captain as the Commander of this operation your ultimate fate is within in my hands.” Darth Krujas informed and he could have sworn that despite being slowly strangled to death and his body being forcefully suspended nearly three meters in the air that he had heard a whimper.

All throughout the Citadel people were just walking by this scene; the Imperial Military like all things within the empire was subservient to the Sith . there would be no aid, no assistance and no consequence for his removal from the operation. The Fear of the Imperial Officer felt like a torrent to the Sith Lord and he enjoyed basking in the horror and primordial fear he had achieved here but that also meant his fun was just about done.

The Captain’s mind would soon snap and his sanity would be lost due to the continually growing fear within his mind; Fear of what was being done now, what could be done to him and what would be done to him by the Sith in the coming days. But fortunately for the Captain , Vurk had other concerns so he would wrap this up now rather than draw it out.

“Good bye Captain.” The Sith stated before simply crushing the man’s larynx completely once and for all with but a singular movement of his Hand; it took all of half a second to do and the Imperial instantly hit the cold stone floor of the Command deck but didn’t rise. His form still and that of yet another corpse left in the wake of a displeased Sith.

With a disgusted grunt at the man’s cowardice and weakness at the end of his existence the Sith turned away; Coward and failure he might have been but the Captain had raised a valid point before his destruction.

The Imperial Forces were spread thin across the galaxy with the majority of the veteran legions and war fleets being held back in preparation of the Empire’s eventual Core Ward Push the Republic had unleashed its own veteran forces had scored a series of minor victories and secured useful positions; The fact the Imperial Fleet was having to converge to Dromund Kaas would just further compound the problem.

Republic Intelligence would undoubably see the Fleet movements for what they were; The Empire had finally had enough and was preparing for full scale total war once again.

As the Sith departed the Scene the fallen captain’s form was quickly dragged away by on duty Personal and the Dark Lord once again resumed his meditations he still had a considerable number of people coming in to visit him at the Citadel today not to mention a growing list of approvals and requisition forms he would have to get to at one point.

“Sometimes I think my master was right…Have a few apprentices just to keep the Military Garbage from building up.” He muttered with frustration but in truth that was just a veil; His emotions served him and he could voice nearly any at will due to his command of the force being fueled by his baser emotions and instincts he like all Sith had been taught to nurture and draw out and build upon his rage.

However Vurk unlike the majority of Sith had mastered a an ability that was far rarer and one that had practical non battlefield applications; The Ability to feign emotions. While they often weren’t genuine and thus anyone with a connection to the force could sense the deception it was overly convincing to those that lacked that insight and thus was useful for motivating his staff and allies alike.

“Lieutenant.” The Sith Lord called out simply and before he had closed hiss mouth the Chiss had appeared by his side.

“Yes my lord?” The Blue Skinned Alien responded.

“How goes the fleet build up so far?” He questioned he was actually curious about that having not seen any reports upon that nor had asked before.

“Almost a quarter of the planned upon forces have converged upon Dromund Kaas so far my Lord. Sixteen Dreadnaughts, Almost Four Dozen Carriers and Destroyers and nineteen frigates; And the Fleet isn’t even complete yet my lord.” The Chiss repeated with obvious pride.

“And the Ground Forces?”

“Sixteen Companies have been called in and have arrived so far; With a dozen more expected within the next few hours.”

“Special Operations Battalions are also coming I assume?”

“I would assume so my Lord although I haven’t seen any mention of their arrival or planned field strength in any of the logs.”

“I don’t suppose they would bother with logging now would they?” The Sith Lord stated with obvious amusement.

“No I suppose not.” The red eyed alien remarked.

En route to the commanders office

"I read your file Master Jedi, It seems you've been here before infant you were stationed here during the war". Remain silent wondering what file, I mean i'm not some Republic Soldier why am I being profiled. "He doesn't like to talk about it" says Chir`da, "Oh no its fine sorry I just had a thought pop up in my head" To be honest that happens to me a lot. "Well I had just became a knight when the war started, and because my medical talents outweighed my combat skills they wanted me to stay here. I never saw the battle field not even once but there injuries gave me a good idea of what it was like. The bodies started getting to me I could see them when ever a closed my eyes, every time I slept I could still see there cold faces. One body almost destroyed me, and that body was my masters body he had been killed by a Sith Lord to this day we don't know who it was, but I had my doubts about it being a Sith kill it was from behind and there were signs of the Lightsaber being blue. My theory was just ignored by the counsel unfortunately, there reason was that many sith use weapons of there victims and it was an assassination, but to this day I don't buy it.". "Well that's a sad story, it was a terrible was many were forgotten" Molan was interrupted by her communicator ringing, "Ah lieutenant something has came up please show these Jedi to there quarters we will have to brief them latter" with a confused look Dolan just obediently nods and then says "we'll that's the end of that ill take you to your room,
and Master Jedi I would love to here the rest of your story". Ignoring the temptation I just respond "Maybe some other time is that okay" looking completely stone faced she just says "Ya that's fine, well we will be seeing you tommorow" As she heads off a protocol droid escorts us to our room once settled in Chir Da says "I don't like the way she was looking at you" I let out a laugh and say "When you travel the galaxy you're going to get a lot of looks, none of them are even close to as pleasent as that one. Tommorows going to be along day we should get some rest"
So we turn off the lights and slept.

Lower Ship level supply closet

Lt. Dolan walks into the closet with much disgression when she walks in she puts her hand on a panel, all the sudden the door opens inside is a long stair case leading upward. As she goes up she sees door with a security panel, carefully she types a phrase D-E-F-C-O-N-A-C-T-U-A-L then the door slides open. Inside appears to be a stranded troop barrek she approaches 4 soldiers all dressed in dark, shadowy armor. One asks "So how did it go" with a grin Dolan Replies "He didn't bite I guess he is certified for this mission". A trooper lying down snarlingly replies "Of course he didn't bite you have about as much charm as a Hungry Rancore" Suddenly Dolan pulls out her pistol and fires a shot at his legs. Startled the trooper yells "Okay, Okay im sorry" "you better be more mature then this if you want the operation to work out the way we planned it, we will get started in 3 days get ready were going to Dromand Kaas".

Droumund Kaas

Xeria looked directly ahead in thought as she walked, flanked by 18 other figures, each of them part of The Hive. Most people looked their direction, obviously curious, but too afraid to ask, though Xeria was too deep in thought to notice the stares, the looks of fear, and even some looks of respect, all of which she would have been curious about. Cyrus, her apprentice, had noticed each look, grinning at every person, the grinn unnerved some people, but some saw the kindness in his smile, and a look of slight pain in his eyes and smiled back in reply, making his grin grow wider until they approached the Dark Citadel, the seven that were currently in front of them taking a spot behind the 12 leaders of The Hive as they stood at the door of the Dark Citadel.

Jekyll Javen
Dromund Kaas

The four men in black fatigues and Jekyll just in time to see Darth Xeria and her band of sycophants. He looked them over with a stone cold expression. It seemed to be a highly pretentious assortment of individuals who gave themselves a pretentious name. What they were doing marching around in a posse, Jekyll could only wonder. He always found it smarter to keep his forces spread out and hidden. They waited in the dark on all the Sith and Republic worlds. As well as the ones that were being contested.

Jekyll stepped forward in his Imperial Intelligence uniform. It was polished, impeccably prepared and the creases were all in the right places. It would not serve to make a poor presentation in front of his supporters on the Dark Council. The four paramilitary operatives with him were dressed in more practical attire and carrying blaster carbines. That would not be enough to beat these twelve in a fight but Jekyll knew his support with the higher echelons in the Sith Empire protected him enough.

"I see your little brotherhood is not one for subtlety Darth Xeria. No matter. Just because I fail to see what parading yourselves around the galaxy accomplishes doesn't mean its frivolous endeavor." He said with his hands behind his back.

Darth Naefas
Dromund Kaas, Kaas City

The confines of the apartment building was dark and unsettling, it held a foreboding scene which was never to come but within one of the rooms sat Ausdi, he was deep in meditation but something was pulling at him. "Salen....Shira." he said quietly as he searched through the force to find knowledge on the two, "Aran.....who is Aran? Can it be....a..secret child....the force reveals all." Ausdi said with a sadistic grin as he began searching for the boys location. As he searched through the force he felt a tremor that wiped away the slate, "Damn!" Yelled Ausdis as he swatted a nearby table into the wall, with his anger rising he grabbed his mask and quickly slid it on. The tremor kept annoying him, it was easy to pinpoint the location of the group of people, "The hive...it sounds like a nuisance to the Empire." said Ausdi as he pondered on the name before living his personal quarters. After taking the elevator to the base of the apartment complex, Ausdi threw his cowl over his head and began making his way towards the Dark Citadel. With each step the tremor become more of a nuisance, Ausdi anger continued to rise throughout him but he was able to conceal his emotions from those around him, and to those he approached.

With the Dark Citadel within a few hundred yards of him he could see the group that called themselves "The Hive," but he soon saw Imperial agents, "You best leave before they cut you down." said Ausdi as he neared closer to the group and saw the boys grin, "I suggest you remove the grin before I remove via myself." Ausdi said with a slight nod as he placed one foot on the bottom of the stairs.

Jecht Cath
Kaas City

Jecht stood at the spaceport, looking down at the floor as he walked, his head covered with his hood. Gentle metallic footsteps could be heard approaching him, eventually growing louder, until a Sith trooper stood, standing at attention to him. The man was bulky, and taller than Jecht, though not as powerful as him. Jecht lowered his hood, staring at him. "Commander Cath!" The man said, bowing. Jecht nodded, bringing him to attention again. His eyes darted for some type of rank identification. He recognized the man as a Lieutenant. He waved his hand slightly, speaking in a low, monotone voice. "Lieutenant Markus, what brings you to me?"

The Lieutenant bowed once more, in a show of respect, then spoke. His voice was muffled by his helmet, yet still understandable, "Sir, you've been relieved of your post here. You are free with some leisure time." Jecht nodded, motioning for him to move off to his post once more. The Lieutenant bowed, before rushing back to his post, to manage incoming and outgoing flights from and to Dromund Kaas, and by extension, Kaas City. Jecht took up his hood again, leaving the spaceport, and crossing walkways, before reaching the Dark Citadel, where he would meet Master Ondor. He observed as the hooded figures stood at the entrance to the Dark Citadel.

"What an odd lot," Cath uttered out loud. Master Ondor quickly took place beside him, hooded as well, hiding his identity from any possible enemies lurking in the shadow. "Greetings, Apprentice Cath." He said in a low, monotone voice. Cath quickly stole a glance at him, slowly nodding, "My master." They both lowered their hoods, focusing their gaze on the dark figures. "A planned coup, perhaps?" Jecht suggested. Ondor shook his head, "They wouldn't have such hubris to attack the Dark Citadel in broad daylight, especially on Dromuund Kaas." Cath nodded in agreement. "An odd lot then," Jecht nodded, and Ondor nodded in agreement.

They stood in the shadows, observing the group, though any force sensitive with common sense in the area could detect them, to the naked eye, they were slightly hidden, unless one looked closely in the shadows, for lurkers. "Well," Jecht slowly shook his head, glancing at Ondor. "Then I suppose if they are here to coup the Dark Council, we should aid the Council? That would be be the best course of action, would it not?" Ondor shook his head, looking over to Cath. "Perhaps not. We know not the strength of this group, and perhaps they are here for another reason. It would be best to observe at this time, as opposed to butting in, as we Marauders do best."

The 18 members glanced to the two, their facial features cloaked by the hoods over their head. They continued walking, they continued to release an eerie, dark feeling, and the air continued to freeze around them as they walked, shoes/boots clacking on the metallic floor beneath their feet, except for Xeria, who seemed to hover above the ground. Their motions were oddly in synch, nearly perfect synch, they seemed to sense what the other was doing and do it as the other did it, it was as if they were one mind, though they were seperate minds, but they also seemed so close-nit, it was in-human.

"Mistress,"one spoke in a hollow, eerie, dark voice, that was somehow beautiful, captivating, and mesmerizing. "We are being watched."He said again, getting a nod in reply from the only one cloaked in white.

"I am aware, my apprentice."She spoke, in the most beautiful of voices, a voice that held an ancient power, a voice that was so beautiful the beauty of it seemed impossible, but the beauty of her voice was there. She turned and looked right at the two, her eyes flashed with a purple light for a split second as she approached, the eyes of the seventeen behind her watching their mistress with curiosity. "Who are you?"She asked slowly, still hovering, though just barely.

Cath spoke in a monotone voice, slightly higher than Onderon's. "Marauder Cath." It was apparent there was an aura of caution between the two, before Onderon spoke again, in the same tone, "And, you?"

Jekyll Javen
Dromund Kaas

Jekyll raised an eyebrow at the newcomer. These Sith Lords made their threats and their shows of power. Many times they followed through with it as well. But they could not touch him, not here."I have an appointment with the Dark Council. Shall we see what they have to say about my reason for being delayed?"

He turned to Xeria then eyed her companions. Jekyll could not put a finger on who exactly they were. The Hive did an impeccable job covering their trail and he had not spent too much time and resources uncovering their identities and activities. There were other pressing matters that needed to be dealt with and always considered this faction beneath concern. Perhaps that would change in the days to come.

"If you do not know then you're behind in the game." Jekyll answered before walking away. He marched up the steps of the Citadel leaving them to their brooding.

Shira Dano-24-Jedi Knight
I was in my quarters thinking on the convrsation when Monghrl appeared in the room. Neeva had arived an hour earlier and was training by lifting objects with the force as she tried t achieve complete oneness with the force while lifting more and heavier objects. Eventually the burden gre too heavy and all th objects began to fall to the floor as I stopped thm with theforce and set them down gently. AS Monghrl appraoched I saw that he had aquired new items. And I still wanted to talk to him about the lightsaber he found on the padawan.

"Monghrl, do you still have the saber you found?" I sked, knowing he still had it. I never did gt rid ofthe habbitof asking questions to which I already knew the answers. He nodded and I tood up as I spoke. "Monghrl, tomorrow before we leave with the Republic Fleet I want you to meditate on that saber and see if you can connect with the one who last wielded it. Often times by using the force you can see the past of anobject or location. This will give you some insight into the saber and the Padawan who last used it. If you are successful you will have connected with the living force. And I will allow you to clean and keep the saber on the conditin you do not haggle with it. If not you will give it to me and I will have it sent to Tython for the Jedi to put away. You have until tomorrow."

I then went to the meditatin chamber and Neeva approached me.
"Why did you let Monghrl have a chance to keep the saber if he can connect with the living force? You know I am better at medtation and connecting with th force than he is."
"True, but he needs to learn this, and I figured this was a good chance to teach him. You already know the living force and connect with it. An excercise like that for you will not test you. But it will him. ow you may resume yor training. We leave early tomorow."
"Yes master."
"And Neeva."
"Yes?"
"Dont help him. He needs to figure this out on his own."

"Xeria Kaosu."She spoke, slightly intruiged by the two. "Prophet told us we would meet interesting people here, is that not correct, Prophet?"She asked, turning to a cloaked figure who let out a sickingly sweet giggle, that quite literally made the air around them grow brighter. "Why do you give yourself the title of Master? Is that not a Jedi title?Oh, I do not suppose you are an exile, Prophet said nothing of that. Ondorshook his head, unaffected by the sporadic questions brought forth by the group. "While the Jedi use the title Master, it is also in use by the Sith. I hold an apprentice," he motions to Jecht, "therefore I am a master to him. I am no Exile, as well. I am Sith, the power of the Dark Side flows through me, as it does through all things." Master Ondor fell silent, and Jecht spoke, sneering a bit at the happiness of this, 'Prophet,' character. "I highly doubt that this material is resistant to the power of the Force. The force flows through all things, even Mandalorian armor." He nodded slowly, crossing his arms.

"Mm, but it isn't the Mandalorian Iron, it is the force."She said as she hovered away, Prophet giggling slightly as she continued to walk, the saber-staff on her back flashing with an image of the three(Xeria, Onderon, Cath) talking, something that happened in the past. They were soon at a longer distance, and oddly it was quieter with out the almost dead-silent group there, calmer, the shadows no longer writhed when Xeria moved, simply because she wasn't there. That was until she neared the Dark Council's chambers, every shadow in the Dark Citadel writhing with anticipation.

Xeria sighed as she entered the Council's chambers, around an hour later she exited, a smirk on her face. "Let us go and meet our contact at the Kaas city space-port, we have an army to build. Remember, it isn't for personal use, this is for the Empire, this may be the one thing that keeps us together."She said, hovering out of the current hall-way and exiting the Dark Citadel, everyones' shoes/boots clacking on the mettalic floor except for Xeria's, she was hovering, as always. Her motions were mesmerizing, dark, eerie, and seemed to make the shadows around her bend to her will. The Force in the air seemed to be absorbed by her as she walked by it, which it was, this was slowly building her reserves of Force energy(so she could draw it from herself, and not just the air surrounding her), and increasing her power, very, very slowly. In battle her force absorbtion abilities could siphon force sensatives and non-force sensatives of their own power, absorb the energy of droids, and wreak havoc across the battle field.

"The contact is also thinking of joining us, and bringing their technology firm into The Hive," she said over a telepathic link. "As of now they have contacts all over the galaxy, which are also interested in joining. We are also sending Prophet to the Sith Acadamy on Korriban to pick up a group of apprentices. I believe there are at least eight. I have already alerted headquarters to these developments, and I believe we are finally gathering what we need to enstablish our own faction." She liked the idea of a faction. A faction that would be loyal loyal to the empire but still had a major role in politics. The said faction was already changing things in the images Prophet had seen and told them about, it was quite intriguing, and was thankfully true, she just wondered if it would be enough.

Jekyll Javen
Dark Council Chambers

Jekyll had to enter himself and leave his men waiting outside. Not that the members of the Dark Council could not easily obliterate them all. It was just a precaution and a mark of status. They did not have the status to speak to such powerful individuals. Before Jekyll an arrangement of ominous looking individuals sat before him. Some were only there via hologram. He did not have the force but there was no mistaking the power vibrating through the room.

He spent some time answering their questions about the happenings of the galaxy, glad he had something useful to provide. Jekyll gave them troops movements, fleet positions and attack plans of the Republic. None of it would give the Sith a significant upper hand yet the information was still of use. If not his support among them would disappear in a puff of smoke and he would be vulnerable. There were many in Imperial Intelligence and in the ranks of the Sith themselves that would pounce on Jekyll immediately.

"Once again you have proven your worth Jekyll but you are here so that we may call on your services once towards something specific." Darth Marr's voice boomed throughout the chamber.

"I am here to serve." Jekyll responded faking eagerness.

The next few moments proceded with the Dark Council giving Jekyll new instructions. It seemed he was to redirect his operations towards rooting out the Republic's SIS infiltrators and any dissidents within the Sith ranks. They wanted a purge. He bowed before them and walked off trying to hide a grin. This represented an opportunity to remove a few threats. All Jekyll would have to do is present enough evidence to show that certain individuals were traitors and the Dark Council would take care of the rest. Whether they were actually traitors did not matter.

There was no more business to be done on Dromund Kaas so Jekyll made for the spaceport right away. He did not like being here under the watchful gaze of his enemies. Taris was more remote, out of the way and nobody wanted to go there. It gave him more freedom to run his operations.

"I do not know your name, but this is Darth Xeria Kaosu, we met earlier at the Dark Citadel. I wish for you to be aware of my acquisition of a new technologies firm and new battle droids for the empire. The battle droids are made out of force imbued Mandalorian Iron, and are highly resistant to the effects of the force, I had my apprentice try to pick one up with his telekinetic abilities, and he failed...utterly. I wish for you to tell your allies we are for the Empire, Prophet has sensed our down fall, and I have lengthened the time we have by a few years, at the most, if I just had more support. As of now I am sending you the file on a very important sect of "Sith", or so they call themselves, that are hilariously going to try an assassinate several high ranking imperial intelligence members. I hope for you to apprehend them."She said over a telepathic link, a Imperial Agent would approach Jackyll with the file as soon as she ended the link, the agent was around 15, black hair, black clothes, and around 5 feet 11 inches tall.

She sighed as she approached her contact, eyeing him over for a moment,

"Good evening, Lore," she said, smiling slightly underneath her cloak

"Good evening, Darth Xeria,"he said, the young man giving a grin, clutching a file in his hand. "These are the details on the shipment that has been loaded onto your ship, and inspected by one of your agents as requested."He said, handing it to her.

"Thank you, Prophet has already left for Korriban and is picking up the apprentices. Altogether we have around 49 force-sensitive members, you make 50, though you are not sensitive to the force. I will speak to you again, it was a pleasure doing business, Lore."She said as she began to hover away, the 17 other members of The Hive following her, there were only 17 due to Prophet having departed for Korriban.

OOC: I think that since the Empire is in a time of chaos that this is very reasonable, so don't be mad at me, or think I am a bad RPer, I just ran out of things to do.

Jecht Cath
Kaas City

Jecht bowed to his master, before they both parted ways. He took up his hood again, looking to the ground as he walked, caring not for his surroundings, as he sensed everything about him. He moved into the spaceport, ignoring any salutes or acknowledgement from the various Sith lulling about the port, as he headed for the shuttles. He leaned forward into a shuttle labeled "ZIOST," before typing in a code, to open the shuttle. He stepped into the cockpit, closing the shutters, and taking off his robe. He sat in his metallic suit. He slipped off his re-breather, sitting on a chair, closing his eyes as the shuttle entered hyperspace.

Get out of my head or I will have you apprehended. He responded in thought. Immediately Jekyll began the Imperial Intelligence taught ways of keeping force users out of your head. He began a whole number of redundant and menial thoughts such as playing pazaak or counting the hairs on his arm. Beneath these pointless thoughts he began to brood on his situation.

The threat was an empty one, for now. Jekyll had nothing on Xeria and her compatriots. No identities, what they were up to, motives...anything. The datapad was handed to him and he looked it over with concern while walking. This plot was something he had known about for a while just not who exactly was involved.

A long time ago Jekyll decided not to do anything about it as the assassination of the Imperial Intelligence members in question would create a vacuum of power within the organization. Something he could certainly benefit from. A few of those about to be killed were even his enemies which made the conspiracy highly convenient.

Of course Jekyll would apprehend the people on the datapad. But not a second before they carried out the deed. Then perhaps he would aid Xeria if only to learn more about her own conspiracy. A droid army? With more information he could possibly spin it to the Dark Council that it was going to be used in a coup. They would crush the woman immediately. Jekyll considered it for a moment and realized that may not be the best course of action. He would compile what evidence he could anyways to use as leverage if needed.

No straight forward course of action was clear at the moment save for the return to Taris. Jekyll and his men boarded his Phantom. The underlings set a course for Taris while he retired to his room on the ship.

She sighed as she retreated from his mind, obviously not very happy about what was going on at the moment.

Cyrus waved to his mistress as she boarded her ship, he was going to stay on Kaas for a while. He took off his hood, revealing a grin with sterling white teeth, and turned around and walked back towards the Dark Citadel. The teen arrived with a sigh, pressing his back against a wall and falling back against it, waiting until someone approached him, he was bored, he knew he would be, but being here beat being at a meeting full of old people that would kill him if he made a joke, they seriously needed to stop being so grumpy, stupid Sith lords.

Maghrl - Padawan

After receiving his orders, Maghrl nodded to his master. "Maghrl will do best, Shira-Master." He bowed to his master before scampering off to his room. He pulled out the lightsaber he had found, observing it's appearance and details. It was quite beautiful in his opinion. Almost like a work of art. With that thought, Maghrl entered his room and closed the door behind him.

He sat on the ground in the middle of the room and placed his bag out of arm's reach. He didn't want the temptation of messing with the things in there to distract him. He crossed his legs into his normal meditation position, and did his best to calm himself from the day's excitement. It took him a while, but eventually he managed to become composed. He breathed slowly as he meditated on the force, but focusing on the lightsaber in his paws.

Maghrl always had trouble connecting to the force in this manner. He was excellent at using the force, but not at achieving unity with it. His best guess was that it was his emotional nature, and his difficulty concentrating for such a long time. Maghrl focused his mind on the lightsaber, keeping his eyes shut tight. He really hoped that he could focus enough to finally accomplish something that he had never done before. His best guess at accomplishing this task would be to focus on nothing but the lightsaber, the padawan who had made it, and the Force itself.

Jekyll Javen
Dromund Kaas

Following the meeting with the Dark Council he also had instructions to meet with a Darth Krujas. That made him a little worried as Jekyll had just recently killed one of the man's informants. But there was no reason Darth Krujas would know it was his doing. The informant's corpse was probably now in the stomach of some Rakghoul on Taris. Still, Jekyll could not deny the summons.

From what he knew this Darth Krujas would play a major role in leading the next offensive against the Republic. Perhaps the Council wanted him to provide intelligence support while focusing on the other concerns they had instructed of him. Or maybe this was part of the mission. By working with Krujas, Jekyll would be able to keep a closer watch on the man for the Dark Council. Perhaps the dissidents and infiltrators were closer than expected.

He arrived at the command center within the Citadel where Darth Krujas was said to be and entered. A guard in full combat armor stood in the way. "I have orders to report to Darth Krujas. Let him know Jekyll Javen from Imperial Intelligence has arrived."

The Next Morning...

"Wake up Master Jedi its time to work" I open my eyes slowly to my surprise im no longer in my room no im in some trooper barrek. The voice I heard was none other then Lt. Molan, "Surprised I see, well that's not what we expected in fact we were worried you knew of this". Angry about my current situation I cant help yelling "This?! What is this? Why am I here? Are you going to attempt killing me?" Suddenly a trooper who was leaning against the wall started approaching. "Attempt, wow I thought you Jedi were all about modesty. I think I might like working with you you don't seem the type to preach that force crap". "What work with you? sorry no I may not be as orthodox as the rest but it doesn't mean I don't respect that well how did you put it "Force Crap". Giving a cocky looking smirk then a laugh "Typical you Jedi are all alike, your so called force is nothing more then a mere parlor trick". "Hahahaha nothing more then a parlor trick huh well let me put on a little magic show for you get ready for the opening act". All the sudden the cuffs fall off my hands and feet then the trooper goes flying and hits the wall causing it to crack the other troopers running to stop me also go flying back. As I approach the Injured Trooper I look at his armor it appears he was a member of an elite special forces squadron and possessed the rank of sergeant. "Its a shame the show cant go on a little bit longer, but the commander really needs to here about this so im going to end the show with a grand finally killing you". *clap clap* "Very good Master Jedi very good, it looks like my doubts about you having the ability to carry out this mission have all disintegrated. By the way would you please back off SGT. Redford so he may regain his composer". Never being this confused in my life I cant help but ask the shadowy officer my questions "You want me to back off this traitor and what mission whats going on here?". "Shh all your questions will soon to be answered, now follow me to the war room your about to be briefed.

Girias Hanar
Dromund Kaas, aboard the XS freighter Pentacle

Girias sat still on the cold, hard metal floor of his ship-turned-workshop. His eyes remained open as he meditated, scanning over an array of unfinished projects he had been working on inside his personal sanctum. Assorted droid innards were strewn about the chamber on greasy, rusted old workbenches, while at the very back rested his small personal library consisting of stolen holocrons which whispered in unison as some kind of ghostly choir. The ship had docked some time ago, but the eccentric old machinist decided to take things slowly. His hired crewmen could do the talking with port officials whilst he concentrated near-endlessly on the subtle imperfections, the broken systems of his immediate surroundings. There were countless flaws, there would always be flaws, and this irritated Girias to no end. He had to fix everything, repair everything, at times scrap it all and start from scratch. It wasn't just his robotic creations that he doted on, but on the abstracts - the fundamentals - of the force and of his techniques.

While he was not naive enough to believe in total perfection, the mere fact that his versatile mind sometimes lapsed - the potential for errors - scratched at his mind and at times threw his sanity. As diagrams, passages and lectures passed through his long chain of thought, the chamber awakened. Several HK-series assassin droids, presumably outdated 24s, stood around the room, accompanied by a few levitating Dark Eye probes, all maintaining, deconstructing and reconstructing themselves in accordance with their master's will. The power of the dark side coursed like a virus through Girias' twisted mechanical monsters, each of his progeny designed to infiltrate and murder in his name. He knew that to communicate with his sith brethren on Dromund Kaas effectively, he had to be methodical and precise. Mincing words with less civil, less reasonable sith was a delicate game of strategy, and had to be handled with the same care due to any volatile system.

The objective was to form alliances, gain followers and spread influence. Assertion of power, prideful delusions of strength and fruitless contest were not only wastes of time but detrimental to his research and the sith as a whole. There was no true power in "conquest", for the clever man rules his dominion in secret. It was under this philosophy that Girias not only didn't become a Lord but actively refused to take up the "Darth" title. He sought control, not glory, and the greater sith community would have to realise it's collective weakness - Pride. The jedi, for all their failings, were indeed right about pride. It could start one on the path to the dark side, but any darksider who indulged his own unwarranted feelings of self-worth had already defeated himself before he could even begin to comprehend the greater mysteries that so enthralled him.

Shira Dano-24-Jedi Knight
I woke up the next day and and dressed myself in a new pair of robes after a warm shower. As I stepped out I grabbed a bite to eat as Neeva woke up and collected herself. Both of my padawans had their own strengths and weaknesses. Neeva was a very talented force user and was a natural at harnessing its abilities and connecting with the living force. And was not a bad swordsman either, she would make a fine Jedi. But Monghrl's advantages were not of the average Jedi, and he possesed many abilities that most Jedi dont. He was street wise and knew how to track things and people down. Was a great tinkerer and could easily adapt to new situations and technology. Normally I focused on him training on his strengths and only having him learn the basics of the force and its uses.

But he still needed to know how to tap into the Force, a Jedi's greatest ally. If he could master connecting with the living force and looking into the past of places and objects it would do so much more for his tracking abilities. Monghrl was still fast asleep and Neeva was only begining to warm up to her new fellow learner. As I continued to eat I saw Neeva approach him and sit across from him. Closing her eyes and meditating. Neeva never says much. She takes her Jedi duties with the utmost seriousness and care. And treats every task as a priority. But would often overlook things. Common things even a civilian would see as she focuses so much on the force and its aspects. While Monghrl often needed to be encouraged to focus on his training. They would balance each other out well.

I smiled to myself as I thought about it. I knew they would make a fine team if given the chance. And I was to guide them down the path. But after everyone wakes up we will head out to the Republic Military Command and get our assingment and unit. The thought of the war was still in my mind as I finished my meal and drew my saber but did not activate the weapon. Instead I practiced my Soresu stance with it deactivated.

Salen-30-Jedi Master

Salen woke up had got ready and his padawan had just finished constructing his own lightsaber. Salen walked out of the room and walked around it just to wake up and then he saw Shira as he was leaving the ship. "Well, I need to report to the 5th fleet. So I guess its goodbye for now." Said Salen as he walked off the ship and took a transport to the Republic Military Command where he could get a shuttle to the 5th. Once he was there he boarded his shuttle and headed up to the 5th.
