"This is Utopia Planitia Command Center, Captain Treece please respond." His combadge went off again and Ethan barely registered it as crews from both his own ship and the shipyard's looked as though they were heading in the opposite direction, more like fleeing he thought warily.

"This is Treece, go ahead," Ethan replied.

"Sensors have detected an anomaly on the starboard side. We have patrol ships closing in to investigate. The Department of Temporal Investigations have ordered the crews to not interfere. By Temporal Directive, do you comply?"

"Of course," Ethan replied immediately. He stopped at his tracks and to a panel at the corridor. He accessed the terminal's subroutines and went bypassed its normal functions. He immediately tapped into the internal communication systems."

"All Vanguard personnel, cease actions against with the temporal anomaly, all Utopia staff are to complete their assignments ]not at the starboard side. Security detachments to be placed at all starboard side critical areas until further notice. Treece out."

He tapped his combadge again, "Lieutenants Sovak & Amor, relay all sensor data you have to the Department of Temporal Investigations. Commander Torrance, maintain yellow alert. Commander Signtai, make sure we've cleared all personnel from the starboard section of the ship."

"Bridge, this is ensign Reichenburg, anything for me to do? I can get up there if you need. Wait, I spotted a man overboard on the starboard side. I'm going out there." Nicholäs gets on his space suit to retrieve the man overboard. He exits the ship, floats to the man, and gets him. Nicholäs returns to the ship and gets the man to the sick bay.

He stopped from his diagnostic and tapped him commbadge.

"All personel, this is Commander Signtai. Evacuate the starboard side of the Vanguard immediately."

He stepped away from his station, and, with the assistance of the Utopia Planitia's engineers, began their crawl towards the 23 and 24th generators, carrying extra plasma conduits with them.

Minutes later, they began the process of rewiring of the conduits to place the two generators in parallel with the others.

"Commander Signtai to Captain Treece, all generators are fully-functional. Utopia Planitia enginneers say that they have completed their work on the Vanguard. I am returning to the bridge. Signtai, out."

The Captain sighed as he clicked off. "Not exactly the first day before launch as I hoped," he muttered.

His combadge chirped again, and Ethan sighed, clicking it, "This is the captain."

"Captain, this is ensign Y'rek... you have a communique from Starfleet Command."

"I'm on my way to the ready room, please patch it there."

"Aye sir."

After following Steele all around the ship, repairing do dads and thing-a-majigs, Tobius had looked forward to sitting down and eating his meal. He had just taken the first bite when he heard the captain's voice broadcasted all over the ship for the starboard side of the ship to be evacuated. He was grumbling unkind things about the man in charge while walking slowly toward the door and out into the hallway.

Arelle half-extended her arm in an attempt to stop the ensign, but he'd already gone. She shook her head ruefully.

"It's good that he reacted quickly to the crewman in distress, I suppose," she commented to Dr Dowad, "but I hope he doesn't overreact the next time. It's possible he panicked and forgot the Vanguard's transporters."

She stood by and made herself ready to help him out, in case the anomaly had caused any casualties.

"Sending data now, Sovak out."

The Doctor almost stumbled into a bio-bed as he burst through the doors to Sickbay from the counselor's side office.

"Arelle! Arelle, it's him. The anomalous readings are originating from Nicholas! I have the tricorder right here! It read that he's not in temporal sync with our space-time continuum. It's not a matter of where the anomaly is, it's him! We shouldn't be asking where he is but rather when he is? He kept yammering on about scrubs and thought the EMH was a patient! Everyone from our time frame knows all of the EMH programs have the same design parameters! I mean -- who wouldn't recognize an EMH!

Thaddeus nearly shoved the bleeping tricorder into Arelle's bosom...

"See for yourself! This man doesn't belong here..."

Natek got out of bed very slowly, his head pounding. Why did he think that it was a good idea to drink that accursed Romulan Ale? He considered swearing aloud, but as there was no-one here, he decided against it.
He pulled on his uniform and checked the time via a terminal to the ship's computer in his room, which caused him to swear loudly and rush to the bridge. He took the closest turbolift to him, adjusting his communicator and making sure his phaser was set to stun, yet safely holstered.
"Sir, I apologise for my tardiness. What have I missed?" He said calmly as soon as he stepped onto the Bridge.

Thaddeus nearly shoved the bleeping tricorder into Arelle's bosom...

Arelle let out an 'Oof!' and steered the tricorder to where she could look at it. Normal human, as far as she could read the specialized data on the medical tricorder.

"All right, everyone, please stay calm," she said reassuringly to both the Doctor and the other man, Nicholas. "Ensign, do you know precisely where and when you are?"

[Key West]

"Excellent question, Arelle! Yes, Nicholas...what's the date? Ah better yet....what's the stardate?!"

Arelle ducked instinctively, a reaction born out of the drills she'd gone through during the Dominion War. The universal translator in her combadge allowed her to understand the suddenly deranged medic's rant.

She pulled the doctor down and tapped her combadge. "Security, seal off Deck 7 around Sickbay!"

The doctor dived behind a bio-bed, taking a spot next to Arelle down below the odd German time traveller's line of sight...

Tobius walked along the corridors, which were filled with running scared people. He knew that the ship's movements were not mechanically induced, so he had nothing to fix, which saddened him. While walking, a large man pushed him out of the way, which resulted in a minor black out and slight concusion. When he woke up he calmy walked to the medical bay to recive medical treatment, he knew all about medical procedures and what not, but it wasn't 'his field'. He stepped into the medical bay to find it in a state of panic, over this...... anomally.

Natek presses on his communicator, activating it. "Security team on its way. Repeat, we are on our way."
Natek stepped into the turbolift and drew his phaser.
"What are we up against, may I ask?" He enquired, trying to decide how to assist.

Nicholäs runs out of sickbay, before it could be sealed, but with a small injury. He then gets a security uniform and walks off into another section of the starship. "They can't find me now. German base, I made it the experiment worked, I repeat Ich wusste, das Experiment funktionieren würde!"

T'Marrie Shriner

T'Marrie had been standing there the whole time and she finally spoke up, "I will run more tests while you try to get info out of him." Said T'Marrie as she jumped back at the sight of the weapon, "What the hell are you doing with that in here!" Yelled T'Marrie as she moved back towards the wall and was prepared to hit the alarm in case the a alert was not sent out. She was prepared to defend her self with a phaser she hid in a cabinet only she had access to.

John had heard the call and he quickly put on his Uniform and then rushed down the corridor into a turbo lift and went to the deck the sick bay was on. Then when he was outside the door he grabbed his phaser and then opened the door to see a doctor with a weapon. "Sir, but that thing down, I don't want to have to shoot you. But I will if I need to." Said John as he entered the room and had his phaser turned to stun.

The turbolift sets of, travelling at the standard speed, yet not fast enough.
"This is Ensign Natek, I am on my way. Try to keep non-crew members away from the hazard area. I repeat, keep civilians safe." Natek orders, not arriving as fast as he'd like.
The turbolift stopped, Natek running out, phaser raised and set to stun. A phaser against a luger? Those things are from the history books, he could definitely stun this guy and send him to the brig.

Arelle rolled and got to her feet, standing by the door. Although probably not as strong as any Security officer or even the deranged medic, if he tried to come back in, she'd at least delay him a little bit.

"How is Tobius?" she asked Thaddeus, having recognized the engineer from her reviewing the crew manifest.
