Backstory: She comes from a long line of elementalists. Her family was unable to browbeat her into being an elementalist, so they dumped her off at the Academy.

He is very alert and observant.  He almost never misses details.   He is distant, cool, calm, reserved and detached most of the time.  He is very tough minded. Self reliant, patient and usually composed. Organized and controlled. Resorceful. Private. Discreet. Nondisclosing. Suspicious. Distrustful.
Backstory: Born in Kent, England; Sebastian's powers manifested at age 10, when he turned his mother's favorite table into dust.  His parents, deeply religious folk, turned him out on his ear and left him to fend for himself.  He moved between orphanages, always ending up being kicked out.  At age 14 he heard about Sylvan Academy but didn't go there until a particularly unfortunate incident involving his orphanage owners pet gerbil on his 15th birthday caused him to leave the orphanage and go to the Academy.

Secret has a general feeling of what will happen in the immediate future. She can get more specific or she can look farther, but it requires concentration. She also occasional blurts out random prophecies even she doesn't understand. Her ESP is also vague. She can sense things like people's general mood, hostility, and danger, but it is not precise. And she is good at fighting with a knife.

Abilities: Time Manipulation*, Nature manipulation( control plants, speak to animals excluding insects and reptiles, and has the unique ability to make a sword from grass, leaves, or other plants instantly at the cost of some energy.)
Weaknesses: Time drains her immensely(more in spoiler), if she intakes any alcohol then it will damper her abilities(mass ingestion will disable her powers till the alcohol clears her system), she hates fire.

Has long blonde hair and bright emerald green eyes. She is tall, tan, and graced with long legs.
Personality: Humorous, serious when in a dangerous situation,calculative, not unkind, unafraid to speak her mind, adventurous, takes risks
Backstory:

Born to a Noble British father and American mother, Elendil has traveled between America and Britain all her life. Her mother's family lives in Miami and Elendil enjoys laying on the beach soaking in the sun. She was mostly raised in London where her father works. Her father, gifted with the power of time, has pledged himself to the British government. He is currently working to restore Britain's economy. Elendil's mother, gifted with the power to manipulate the forces of nature, is an American who spends her time tending to the grounds of the Helyanwe Estate and works with the American Agricultural Department on special projects such as irrigation in Africa. Elendil was born with both these abilities, but it was not till she was 12 that she became aware of them.

Walking home from school one day she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings when she crossed the street and walked in front of an oncoming car. In the split second that she looked up at it, time seemed to freeze around her. She saw the car stop, the birds in the trees had stopped their incessant chirping, and the car horn had been cut off mid honk. Elendil stepped out of the cars way a few feet and then felt herself collapse and the sound came rushing in around her. The horn started again, the brakes screeching, and the sound of the birds taking flight. Elendil felt immensely drained as if she had run two marathons. She lay unmoving on the road, til the driver called 911 believing that he'd hit the girl. However, after ten minutes of laying on the road, Elendil was able to struggle to her feet. The man was overly apologetic and Elendil simply said that she was fine and quickly hurried away from the scene. When she stumbled home, she revealed what had occurred to her father. Her father then sat Elendil down and told her all about magic and how he and her mother both had powers. For three more years, Elendil slowly came to understand her powers. She was able to grasp the basics of her nature ability well enough. She learned how to make plants grow, like flowers and apples from the orchard. Her mother taught her how to craft a sword from the blades of grass or the leaves of a tree. However when the third time lapse occurred when a mugger accidentally fired a gun pointed at her, her parents decided to send her off to the Sylvan Academy so she could learn to better control her powers.

I know time is very touchy and often seen as a no-no for power rps, but I was hoping to be able to experiment with the concept. Essentially, she cannot control it. The time manipulation will only occur when she is about to die or be critically wounded. (stick with me, I can already see you shaking your heads. ) However, the time lapse will only last as long as she has the energy for it. She cannot spend longer than a minute in frozen time or she will die. If she spends even five seconds (in her current state), then she will have a throbbing headache and be out of breath for a few minutes. If she is in the time lapse for a longer period, she will be drained even more when time resumes. She cannot open portals to other time periods, but if she is touching someone when the time manipulation occurs then they will be unaffected by it.

For example, lets say that Elendil is shot at with a pistol when in the middle of a street. Just before the bullets touch her, time wil stop. Elendil would immediately get out of harms way (five to ten seconds in time lapse to move) and time would resume. Elendil will be drained of energy, sluggish in movement, and dizzy.If the assailant was to shoot at her again, and because she's so drained the time lapse would not occur again, then she'll probably get hit with two or three of the bullets because she'd be so tired. To everyone else, nothing will have happened but Elendil moving a few feet, except of course if anyone(friendly or hostile doesn't matter) was touching her.
If this causes too many issues, then I'll be happy to remove it.

Her mother is simply able to give better advise on where projects can take place as she can feel the nature underneath the earth and can tell whether an irrigation canal would be ideally located there or not. Their powers are not used outside the Estate when they teach Eleni.
