As Ross sifted through a storage room, he discovered a long, metal, double-hooked, crowbar-like tool. There were several of the weapons, one of which Ross grabbed and approached Olav the Viking with, holding out the tool for him.

Vanessa quickly switched her attention from the russian guy, to the US marine. "I can handle a weapon, if this helps, i guess.".

Ross picked up a large bundle of the heavy weapons, carrying them arround and handing them to each member of the team. After distributing the weapons, he pulled the dogtag attached to his bootlace from his boot and handed it to Daniel. He then looked at what the man was doing, curious as to his motives.

" I saw these types of wearing one time, an those are stunning weapons: It's logical to conclude these were scientist, not guards. We need something more than a baton of we want to procede. " he said clearly messing with his crowbar and his weapon.

They seem to have very strange flesh and they seem to have bluish blood colour like earth's mollusks. Instead of Iron they've got copper. That's all i know for now. If you could give me something sharper, i'll find their weak spots." she told the man.

"I'm from 2019, as far as i know there is no such profession in your time, but i'm an astrobiologist. If this makes easier for you, i'm the person who studies extraterrestrial life, it's probabilities and answers about life overall. Umm...hope i'm not making this too compicated."

Olaf looked down at the tool. He ended up taking two of them. "They aren't the same as my axe, but they will have to do for now." Olaf noticed a new one trying to pick on the same man as the last one, and he was about to dive at him, when someone else stopped him. He saw a group of them trying to open up one of the bodies, and a few trying to play with those sticks that Loki must have sent. When one of the men tried to draw people's attention to a shiny object, he wandered over.

Outskirts of Veii, Etruria
The 6th century BC

Tarquinsu Ordinarius trekked through the forests just outside the city. He was feeling upbeat. Apparently the Etruscan League was having some kind of draft to form an army for some action against a rowdy city by the name of Rome, and had sent some members of influential families to Veii for a recruitment drive. In addition to dodging their efforts to enlist him, he'd also managed to convince them that his fantastic pottery skills were necessary for the survival of the city. So he'd avoided the battlefield and still managed to get some wider repute.
Right now, he was again trying to earn his living; he'd heard that a prospective client was travelling to Veii in need of terracotta sculptures. He hoped that they'd 'accidentally' encounter him by the roadside, where he'd introduce his trade…
…and a strange whirring began, followed by a beeping that was unlike any animal he'd known, mythical or real. A strange flying plate, an enormous disk with a bulbous cupola at its centre, headed towards him, terrifyingly diving out of the sky. A blazing ray erupted, and the thicket that he was just about to rest in simply vanished! Tarquinsu began to scream. He ran. The… thing simply followed. More beams ripped past him, blasting other areas of forest. He had time to ponder. It was probably an automaton sent by Sehlans, the Greek Hephaistos, god of smithing and craft. He had often grumbled about him while doing his work. Who knew he'd actually listen? Who knew he'd be so petty?
He continued running, screaming for help, weeping… and then everything faded.

Nearly 3 millennia later
A somewhat short, Italic-looking character was suddenly, almost comically, deposited on the floor. Regaining consciousness, he stumbled around for a bit before going into full wide-eyed panic.
"Sehlans!" It had to be him. He was real! He knew about his absurd dislike for him! And he had told Tinia. Tinia? Zeus, rather. If he were on Mount Olympus, they would be speaking Greek. Supremacist buggers. "Sehla- Hephiastos! Zeus!" He switched to their Greek names and began a little Greek rant, trying to appear irate when he was in fact scared to death. Assuming he wasn't dead already.
"You told Zeus, didn't you, Hephiastos? Tired of messing with Aphrodite?"
"Zeus? Why do you torment me? Don't listen to Hephiastos! Stop messing with me! Please! I just want to go home and make an honest living! Anyone? Have mercy? Hera? Hermes? Look, Hephiastos is a petty, lying-"
He paused to hyperventilate.
Then he saw a few strange figures. Servants of the Olympian gods? It didn't matter. Whatever they were, their cool presence here, wherever it was, suggested they'd some leverage with Zeus. He ran to them wildly and threw himself to the ground.

"Citizens of Olympus! Help me! Don't listen to Hephiastos! I've been framed! Get me out of here, I entreat you!"
Tarquinsu cried his plea in Etruscan, crude Greek and Latin, flailing around terrified.

"Finally!", exclaimed Vanessa. "Look what i've found!" she shouted holding up a metallic object which looked like a knife. "It's pretty smal, but it'll do.", she said as she walked towards the dead alien, about to cut him up. "It's about time to do a good dissection"

Still trying to figure his project together, Daniel turned around hearing some very crude Latin, that in case you don't know is studied and learned in Italian schools (OOC: still today too.).

Turning around, he said " Wow, we have even a Roman citizen here in the group? Ave, my friend, how to explain this...it seems that Chronus is the one messing with you, with creatures from Tartarus. Not Zeus and the Olympians, but he brought you here.


(OOC: I was thinking of writing Latin, but I prefer people to understand what I say.)

Vanessa noticed the new person "Does this guy even speak English?" she asked, looking at him. "Hello?! You speak English? Umm...i don't think he does. Let's hope we'll find some sort of universal translator theese aliens have come up with." she was then silenced by a thought "Wait, if we come from different time periods and they have awoken us only now, then we're definetly in the future...We're not going home. Time travel to the past is impossible. Even if we get out...we wil be stuck in this century or whatever time we're in."

" Who cares " Daniel said " Past for me is returnning to a Fascist state that is gonna lose. Don't hrt me wrong, I love my country, but knowing I will die for it makes me a little worried. "

Then he continued " Although I don't get how we lost it even using propeller jet planes. You would guess being faster than the tumored RAF aces would be enough. "

"Wait, i might still have my iPhone with me. It's gotta be here somewhere". Vanessa waas wearing her special labcoat. It had a lot of pockets. She started fanatically searching them. The iPhone wouldn't be of much use, it's not like she'll call from space, but the fact that she'd at least have pictures of her home would make her happier. There aren't much chances it's not broken or battery dead. "Holy fuck! I have it!"she exclaimed. "It's turned off but there's still a chance. Come on, stupid thing"

The Etruscan's face turned even more pale.
"…whhh...why? I am but a simple potter. My parents and their parents were potters and so are my siblings. I admit I insulted the gods, but why such dreadful punishment!?"
Tarquinsu shuddered violently, a hint of bitterness growing in his terrified voice. Then he realised that the man had spoken Latin. It wasn't quite like the crude Latin he used, or what he was used to hearing from his latin-speaking clients, but still a bit strange, almost more developed… in any case, here was someone in Tarturus, or whatever this place was, who was somewhat familiar-looking, who was the only one who had spoken to him. Perhaps he should try to gain his favour. Maybe he could help!
"My name is Tarquin." he mumbled, trying to sound reverent. "You must be anxious to get back to Latium! I need to tell you, just this morning, the Etruscans have began assembling a large army to march upon Roma! I can help, if we could only go back!"

He broke into a shudder again when he saw the strange woman approach, dressed in a huge shiny toga. She then fabricated an exquisitely crafted, polished rectangular slate from a slit in it.
"Servant of Nix? Have mercy!" he yelped feebly.

As Vanessa approached Vassili she again tried to turn on her iPhone, this time, with victory. The Greek man was mumbling something, she couldn't make anything of it. She understood few words in Latin.
