Danbershan wrote:Name: Isaac Heltenstein
Age: 25
Gender: Male
Physical Description: (Image) (on the left)
Birthplace: Ariel, West Bank, UN Protectorate of Palestine
Nationality: Israeli
Personality: Very serious, committed to the Jewish faith. Has difficulty engaging with non-Jews in many cases, and even non-Haredim. Only ever really opens up with close friends, but his main interest is his religion in any case.
Time Period: 21st Century (2045)
Occupation: Religious Scholar
Basic Background: Born and brought up in the city of Ariel, as an Israeli citizen as per the agreement under which the UN Protectorate of Palestine was created. Grew up with seven siblings in a deeply Haredi society, began working in the synagogue at a young age. Studied Jewish law in Tel Aviv University, and later went on to live in a Negev settlement for some time, before moving to Jerusalem. Had rapidly become a passionate and prominent member of the Haredi community, and a prominent advocate for setting up a halachic state in the West Bank and/or Negev.

Name: The Right Honourable Charles Bannerman-Lloyd
Age: 36
Gender: Male
Physical Description (A picture will suffice): Handsome in an aloof manner. Wears an immaculate suit. Waxed back black hair, thin moustache.
Birthplace: A stately home in some pronounceable part of the Home Counties in England
Nationality: English
Personality: He is the epitome of the British Aristocrat. Aloof, rude, fiery tempered, arrogant, reasonably clever. Speaks his mind.
Time Period: Early Edwardian (ie, around 1905)
Occupation (Soldier, Explorer, Statesman, etc.): Younger son of a Duke. Fought as an officer in the Boer War.
Basic Background (One paragraph; 5-10 sentences or more): Charles led the life to be expected of his kind. Privileged, and taught the world was to be commanded. He went through Eton and Oxford (History, not necessarily got into by merit), and found himself with a commission in a royal cavalry corps due to connections. He fought in the Boer War, and was proficient if not distinguished (but, as such, he knows his way around a sabre and a revolver, and considers himself to be a leader). Vaguely resentful of his elder brother, who will end up with the family title. Charles went out hunting one day, and thought he heard something odd in part of the forest he was in. It was then that the blue lights burst from nowhere...

Name: Roald Amundsen
Age: 55
Gender: Male
Physical Description (A picture will suffice):(Image)
Birthplace: Borge, Norway
Nationality: Norwegian
Personality: Calm and taciturn even under extreme stress. Takes pride in the fact he can survive in the world's most hostile environments. As a leader he's known for being firm but fair.
Time Period: The Twenties (1928)
Occupation (Soldier, Explorer, Statesman, etc.): Explorer
Basic Background (One paragraph; 5-10 sentences or more): A powerfully built man of over six feet in height, Amundsen was born into a family of merchant sea captains and prosperous ship owners in 1872. As a youth he insisted on sleeping with the windows open even during the frigid Norwegian winters to help condition himself for a life of polar exploration. Amundsen developed a fascination with Antarctica from the time he first glimpsed its frozen terrain in 1897. In 1903 he established himself as a sailor and explorer when he successfully led a 70-foot fishing boat through the entire length of the Northwest Passage. While flying on a rescue mission in 1928, Amundsen was presumed killed when his plane crashed into the Arctic Ocean. In reality, he was abducted and has only recently been awoken.

The Strategic Air Command wrote:Name: Major Thomas Kong
Age: 45
Gender: Male
Physical Description:(Image)
Birthplace: Dallas Texas
Nationality: American
Personality: Dedicated to the missions placed before him, Kong accepts nothing less than success from those around him. Though he is highly opinionated, Kong rarely lets these feelings interfere with the mission at hand, but isn’t afraid to let others know them.
Time Period: 1969
Occupation: Pilot, United States Air Force
Basic Background: Always having a love for flying, Kong joined the Army Air Force near the end of World War II. Eventually qualifying as a pilot, he only saw limited action in the Pacific Theatre before the war ended. Deciding that a career with the USAAF (later USAF) was more interesting than life on his family’s cattle ranch, he reenlisted. Transferring into the Air Force’s Strategic Air Command, Kong was finally able to see action in Korea. While there he developed a reputation for always bringing his crew back safely, regardless of the odds. One evening, Kong’s bomber was on a routine airborne alert patrol over the North Atlantic, all was proceeding as normal as the aircraft turned towards its refueling point when there was a bright flash. Though the official report stated the B-52 exploded and crashed in deep water with the loss of the entire five man crew and its atomic payload, the reality was much different.

Yeah. You can break news to each other. For example, one character might be a prisoner from Dachau, and a soldier from the Vietnam War tells him that the Allies won World War II.
