(OOC: viewtopic.php?f=31&t=218173)

The Aftermath

The sun shone brightly as Gerald Ross left the trashy Bangkok hotel that his brother had gotten him a room at. When it came to booking hotels, Tony was terrible at the practice, often booking himself some fancy hotel, while sending his friends to the "Budget Inn". This time, Tony was spending the night in a Bangkok drunk tank, due to an incident at a local night club the night before. Dressed in his tan ACU shirt, his dogtags, a pair of blue jeans, and his combat boots, Gerry climbed into the luxury Land Rover that Tony had rented and drove over to the local police station. Parking outside, he brushed his way through the police and criminals to make his way over to the receptionist, an attractive policewoman. Gerry put on a smile, although he was very hungover from the night before, and had some bruises from the fight.

"I need to pick up an Anthony Ross ma'am," Gerry said.

The receptionist looked through a list before shouting something in Thai at another officer, who went back to the drunk tank. She then looked at Gerry. Obviously, she was one of the officers who had dealt with Tony, and the look on her face was one of distain.

"Let me guess: you're his brother?" the woman asked, speaking in almost perfect Hong Kong English.'"If so, I can't see how you are related to such a foul, foul person."

"Yes ma'am," Gerry said. "It's difficult to see how a college dropout like him and an Army officer are brothers."

"Army officer?" the officer asked, as if she was confused as to why there was an American officer in Bangkok. "What brings you here to Thailand?"

"Lookin' after my shitbag baby brother," Gerry said. "Unlike him, I actually made it through college on a scholarship and I'm a Captain. Back home on leave though."

"One of the officers said that you actually helped them put him in the police car," the officer said. "But I don't think he remembered you clocking him in the jaw. He kept talking about how an Army Ranger was coming to rescue him."

"Didn't wanna cause more trouble," Ed said. "And yeah, I'm a Ranger.

Soon, two officers were escorting Tony out of the drunk tank. Obviously, Tony was hungover and angry, yelling about how his brother was an Army Ranger and how he could singlehandedly take out the Bangkok PD. The policewoman shot a smirk at Gerry as he took Tony outside, to the Land Rover.

"Tony, I don't think any of us are good to go on that yacht today," Gerry said as he put Tony in the front seat and made his way over to the driver seat.

"Fuck off Gerry!" Tony said as he rested his head against the door window. "Once we get to the Rook Islands, we'll be good."

"We're barely sober as it is, and I doubt Barkley or Baptiste will wanna deal with a hungover shithead," Gerry said.

"No, fuck you. We're doing this today," Tony said as he called Baptiste, the captain. "'Ey yo cap, get my boat ready."

Brooklyn was already up and awake, she could not wait to get the hell out of the grimy hotel, she arrived at Frankies room, he was no doubt hangover from last night, Brooklyn took the easy option and stayed in the hotel rather than hitting the clubs like Frankie did, she knocked on the doors heavily. Frankie weakly opened only to reveal his face. "Damn, you look like shite Frankie." Brooklyn joked, Frankie attempted to block the light from the lobby lights with his hands. "Give me a minute." Frankie said weakly before shutting the door lightly.

After around fifteen minutes Frankie emerged from his room dressed in his usual attire with his suitcase, he rubbed his eyes with his left hand and began walking down the corridor to the exit, completely ignoring Brooklyn as he walked past her. "Good morning to you then." Brooklyn muttered to her self before quickly catching up with him before they quickly signed out, they wandered outside of the horrible hotel to there cheap rental car, Frankie wandered round to the car and rummaged weakly around in his pockets for the keys before Brooklyn withdrew a set of car keys. Brooklyn smirked "I'll drive." she swapped sides with Frankie and opened the driver side door before climbing inside, she quickly started the engine. "phone tony, find out where this place is." Frankie pulled out touch screen phone from his pocket, the screen was cracked slightly, he dialed the number in and waited for an answer.

Richard--or rather, Ricky, as he preferred--had arrived in Thailand very early that same morning, somewhere around 2 he assumed, considering he'd been far too tired up give his phone or any clock a glance after he'd arrived. His parents had already jets nixed quite a stay for him, renting him one of the more luxurious hotels in the city and a Mercedes for transportation. It was definitely an easy life they lead with their inherited wealth, and Ricky had no conplaints. He was already out of his hotel by this time, navigating the luxurious Benz through the streets of Bangkok. He'd planned to have a bit of a pre-party, but his flight's delay had cancelled this'd plans quickly.

Eventually, he finally arrived at his destination, having spotted the yacht bobbing carelessly in the relatively calm Thai waters around it. He was ancho us to be underway and to see his old friend again, though the man was more than a bit...self-centered. And all-around a douche at times. Hell, maybe he wasn't too excited about seeing him, but simply couldn't turn down a cruise through warm waters.

He put all this aside as he approached the vessel with what luggage he'd brung.

Albert Barkley.

Albert was already up and dressed by 6 in the morning, he had to be, as it was his job to take care of any of the needs of "master" Tony's needs. Albert also was a handyman, he painted, cleaned and generally helped out on the Yacht. Albert got on well with the other crew members, he often played cards with them or simple just chatted to them on the rare occosions when they had some freetime. Albert had last seen Tony late last night, he had gone ashore, but had not returned, most likely he had either hurt someone or hurt himself. Albert strolled along the decks of the Yacht, even in the extremely hot heat he was still expected to dress smartly, even when his "master" did not. He hummed "Rule Brittania" to himself - a small reminder of home and very fitting as he was on a boat.

Albert was looking forward to the guest arriving, as it would give him a chance to see some new faces and not be stuck seeing the blank face of Tony. Albert would greet the guests, show them to their quarters and tend to their needs. He knew their would be alcohol and, possibly, drugs. He hated the latter, he knew Tony's brother was a military guy - surely he would stay away from the drugs. The rest of the guest he knew nothing about, but he assumed they would be very wild.

It looked like Albert was destined for late nights and cleaning up vomit the morning after - sometimes he wished he was somewhere else. At least Albert had the Captain to talk to - he could always confide in him.

Albert's thoughts were interrupted when a car pulled up, it was Tony. And it looked like his brother was there aswell, this was a small relief to Albert, maybe Tony's Brother would restore some order to the Yacht and not let Albert be treated harshly.

Artyom Tuymenovich Kuybeshev

Artyom arrived at the airport hours before the others. Artyom made his way to the yacht where he paced back and forth on the dock waiting for Misha. Artyom wore his Russian BDU's wth the sleeves rolled up and a tank top under his jacket, he wiped the sweat from his brow. Artyom checked the time and started loading supplies onto the yacht and making sure everything was in order. "Misha!" Yelled Artyom.

Artyom:What took you so long?

Misha:sorry I was busy, it won't happen again.

Artyom:It's fine but don't fuck up when the others get here.

'Artyom throws boxes at Misha' "load up the boat" sais Artyom. Artyom gave the guests who had just arrived a wave. Artyom made his way up to the captains room nodding his head in respect to the butler he had passed. Knock Knock Knock Artyom knocks on the door. Artyom opens the door slightly and sais"do you need anything else?"

The morning light shone through the shades on the damp, but yet cultural hotel that Bryan and Ashlee were staying at. Bryan rolled over in the covers to find Ashlee still asleep. The clock blinked at 12 o'clock and his first reaction was that they had overslept, but reassured himself by checking his watch on the opposite nightstand. Ashlee rolled over in her sleep, seeming comfortable enough for Bryan to get up and begin getting dressed. He picked out a pair of worn jeans and a polo, before walking into the bathroom and entering the shower.

Ashlee woke up to the sound of the shower, still half a sleep, she looked at the clock and saw it was blinking at 12. "Bryan! Are we late!?" she yelled in reaction, the water turned off, "What hun?" he yelled in return. "Bryan the clock isn't working I think we overslept!" The curtains could be heard sliding closed, "No hun, we still have time don't worry. Check my watch." Ashlee fell back into bed and pulled the covers back over herself, relieved that they weren't late for their first out-of-country experience together.

Soon enough, Bryan came out of the bathroom dressed, to see that Ashlee had already gotten ready and taken a shower from the second bathroom in their suite. She wore short jean shorts and a blue sweatshirt, with her sunglasses propped on her forehead. "We ready?" she asked Bryan in anticipation, "Yeah, you got your money and your phone? Maybe you should bring the charger too just in case." Ashlee nodded, "Yeah probably." An ever so slight bulge could also be seen in Ashlee's waistline where she wore her taser around her waist for protection. The couple departed their hotel and entered their rental car, heading for the long drive to the docks where the cruise was supposed to begin.

Oliver Goldheart

Oliver had yet to get over the indignation of being forced to stay in such a disgusting place while waiting for the moment he would be able to board Anthony's yacht. Fortunately, his credit card had provided him with enough food and alcohol over the past few days to cope with it.

He truly had expected Anthony to have at least a basic modicum of kindness and get the heir of five billion pounds at half decent room in the Bangkok equivalent of a three-star hotel. Then again, he should have been it coming. Anthony was happy to carelessly spend his money on himself, but not on the few people who cared about him enough to stop themselves from pushing the spoiled brat under a moving train.

But now that he had finally got out of that bloody disaster of a venue, his three suitcases in a tight grip, the androgynous Oliver finally found himself feeling clean and clear-headed enough to allow himself leisure thoughts. As he walked up to the yacht, relishing the estranged looks he got from confused people on the crowded streets of Bangkok, who found it hard to figure out whether they were staring at a man or a woman, he allowed his mind to focus on Anthony. Anthony, the spoiled imbecile. Anthony, the friend he never wanted. Anthony, probably the most handsome man he had ever seen.

Oliver cringed at that last thought. Why did his arsehole of a friend have to be so alluring when he was not drunk or high?

Finally, here he was, standing before that massive, luxurious yacht, and watching with unwanted, but nevertheless pleasurable amusement as he saw Gerry carrying Anthony, once again a disheveled ruin after another crazy night in Bangkok.

This voyage was bound to be a joyous occasion, indeed.

"Hey, Gerry, need a hand with your wanker of a brother?" He enquired loudly as he walked up to them.

As they arrived at the docks, Tony called his friends, giving them the location of the yacht as he and Gerry made their way towards the vessel. After a world tour with a rock band, he used what money he had to buy a yacht and enough provisions to last a month. Gerry put on a pair of black-tinted Aviators as they approached the yacht. Almost immediately, Tony spotted the two men in camouflage as they lifted boxes. Tony always hated any aspect of the military in his life, even despising Gerry for joining the Army. He glared at the two men as he lit up a joint.

"Hey, this ain't no military boat," he said. "Lose those...clothes."

Ignoring his friends and crew, Tony went to the hot tub and stripped down to a speedo, hopping in as he enjoyed his joint. Gerry sighed as he watched Tony fuck around. He had helped Tony get the yacht at a discount; all he did was sleep with the yacht's decently attractive female owner, and although he enjoyed the night, he regretted it because he knew Tony would misuse the yacht. As he boarded, he noticed Oliver, one of Tony's rich friends. Oliver was alright, but Gerry didn't really like to socialize with Tony's friends. Luckily, he was able to bring some old Army buddies along. He turned to face Oliver.

"Nah, he can help himself," Gerry said as he boarded the yacht.

Albert Barkley.

Albert rushed towards the guests, he recognised Gerry, but the other one he did'nt know. He thought it would be best to introduce himself formally.

"Good Afternoon Gentlemen, I Albert Barkley, I'm the butler and general handyman on the yacht. If either of you have any luggage I will be happy to take it to your quarters. Also please feel free to ask me anything."

Albert, who was sweating heavily, hoped his new guests were'nt as harsh as "master Tony".

Sweaty, exhausted, and extremely hungover. These were the three thoughts that ran around Jossem's mind as he stumbled into the hotel room bathroom. It was early morning, and he was to report to the yacht of a bunch of Western spoiled rich kids, "Just great", he thought to himself. Washing his face off in the sink, the sudden chill of the ice cold liquid instantly woke him up. A quick bump of the pure Colombian powder he had procured the night before, paired with a cup of coffee, and he'd be set. Showered, shaved, sufficiently high for the next few hours, Jossem Baptiste was ready for the day.

Putting on his white-captains garb, officer hat, and loading his 6-shot Nagant M18, he readied himself for the trip to come. A pleasant yacht ride to the elusive Rook Islands, over the gorgeous Pacific Ocean meant the trip wouldn't be a total drag. The hot sun, paired with the cool demeanor of the water presented a pleasant state of duality that Jossem so enjoyed about the sea. Hailing a taxi to the marina, Jossem plumped into the plush pleather backseat. His relative state of peace was suddenly interrupted by the shrill ring of his cellphone. It was Tony, the kid who had chartered Jossem's services, with a quick sigh the African captain pushed the vibrant green button and put on his most pleasant voice.

"Ja, mr. Ross...of course the boat will be prepared for departure upon your arrival! I will see you in a bit, safe drive mate." Jossem preferred a friendly demeanor when it came to his clients, as they were the ones who put the food in his stomach.

Arriving at the docks, he quickly tipped the driver and was on his way. Stepping on board the yacht, Jossem greeted his fellow crew members, inquired about the departure, and assisted in readying the ship. After dropping off his bags in his personal quarters, Jossem ventured up to the Bridge, making initial and final checks on the systems and instruments. Everything checked out, and the boat was ready for departure as soon as the party-goers made their ways to the yacht. Before he could forget, Jossem checked the locked cabinet in the Bridge, deposited the Nagant, and ensured the small ammo box was secured. Locking the wooden cabinet, he officially considered himself ready for the trip to come. Just a swift trip to and from the Rook Islands, no big deal. Little did he know the trouble that was to come...

"Bryan, Bryan, stop it's this turn here." Ashlee said, directing Bryan where to drive. Around the corner, they spotted the dock with the yacht and a few of the others. "Well, here we are." Byran said parking the car and smiling at Ashlee. He leaned in and shared a quick kiss of celebration before getting out, Bryan went to the trunk and pulled out his guitar, just to play around with it on board while there was nothing better to do.

He approached the docks where he found a few guys that must be affiliated with the U.S. Army, he spotted Gerry out of the group though. "Hey, Gerry! What's up man? This is Ashlee, my fiancee, glad we could finally make it here," He said as he rested his sunglasses on his forehead, looking over at Tony, "How you doing?" He lowered his voice, "or better yet how is Tony doing?" he asked grinning slightly.

"Should be all fine over here butler-man, don't have all that much to carry. Figure I'll look around the thing too, maybe get a feel for it, stumble upon the quarters eventually." Ricky said to the butler, disregarding the fact that Tony had simply breezed by them. Even when he sent more time with him, it was kike that much if tge time. He hefted his bags once again, heading into the boat and beneath the decks as he began his wandering.

Oliver Goldheart

"Alright...Make sure he doesn't drown in his own vomit." Oliver half jested after a small goosebump crawled its way up his back.

Looking into Gerry's eyes and listening to his voice had that strange effect on Oliver. It probably have much to do with the fact that, unlike his brother, Gerry was the epitome of good manners and sweet friendliness. Truth be told, if Anthony had not told him that Gerry would be coming with them, Oliver probably would have refused the offer of joining the hedonistic drunkard and drug addict in this voyage.

Oliver sighed with relief as soon as he saw Albert, finally seeing someone with proper decor and a decent accent, after weeks of witnessing nothing but shameless debauchery and nonstop butchery of the Queen's English.

"Well, Mr. Barklay, it is a pleasure to meet you." He told the elderly butler with a courteous little bow of the head and a warm smile. "I would be quite grateful if you'd be so kind to take my luggage and myself to my quarters. I am feeling rather tired."

Artyom had walked passed Gerry and Tony returning to the dock. Artyom hit Misha jokingly over the back of the head. Artyom looked up and saw the new people who had arrived. Artyom starred awkwardly at Oliver due to his appearance. Artyom and Misha walked over and greeted Bryan and Ashlee. Artyom asked"is there anything I can help you with?" As Misha stood staring at Bryan. Misha glanced at Artyom and went back to stacking crates over by the yacht.

Artyom swept the sweat from his forehead as the day got warmer. And looked back at Bryan waiting for his response. Misha looked back at Artyom. Misha didn't talk to anyone really, only Artyom normally. Misha lifted up a crate and the bottom broke out as the contents of the crate fell on the dock "CHYORT!" Yelled Misha. Artyom looked over his shoulder and told Bryan he would get there stuff after if they wanted. Misha was enraged and threw the empty crate off od the dock.

Albert Barkley

"of course, sir." Albert said to Oliver. "I would be happy to show you to your quarters."

With that Albert picked up the small bags that made up Oliver's luggage. Albert turned and after navigating through the yacht's small and narrow interior, he reached Oliver's room. Albert turned the key and placed the bags on the bed, he handed the key to Oliver.

"I hope everything is satisfactory, sir. If you need anything please do not hesitate to ask. I will be up on deck if you need me."

Albert exited the room, already he liked Oliver, not only did he seem respectable, but he also thought that Oliver may be one of the few who was not just here to get high or stoned- something which Albert respected Oliver for.

Bryan looked over at the crew hand, "Hey thanks man, we'll leave our bags here, if you want to come get us when your ready and show us to our room that would be great." Bryan looked over at Ashlee, "Well, ladies first," he said, motioning her to get on the boat. Ashlee smiled and walked around him onto the ramp to the Yacht. Bryan followed closely behind, his guitar in it's bag still gripped in his hand.

VIncent woke up with a grin on his face. Today he would go on his first cruise. He got out of bed and stretched his back before he looked at his watch. LATE! He was late for the cruise, it could leave any minute now. He hastily put on some clothes, got his bags, and exited the crude hotel. He went down To the parking lot and entered his rented car. The old car wasn't comfortable but worked just fine. He brought out the key to the car and started it. The old car boomed to life as he then got out put and put his bags in the car trunk. After that he got back in and drove the car out of the parking lot and into the streets. He drove the car fast passing through red lights and those slow drivers. Eventually he reached the docks. He parked his car and unloaded his bags. Vincent gave a sigh of relief once he saw the yacht was still at the port. He ran over to the ship as fast as he could dragging his bags behind him. He entered the ship dropping everything he had taking a few big breaths. He spotted an old man that must have been Tony's butler. "Hello! My name's Vincent," he exclaimed walking over to the man. "So... I don't really know what a yacht has it it. Do I have a room?" He asked sort of embarrassed of his little knowledge of a yacht.

Artyom picked up the couples bags when a car pulled up and a man sprinted pass him to get on the boat, Artyom laughed at the man because he was in such a hurry. Artyom walked onto the yacht and managed to get through the thin corridors eventually getting to there rooms. Artyom set the bags down and left. He saw the butler and Vincent talking as he made his way back to the dock to load up supplies.

Bryan thanked the man with a handshake and a pat on the shoulder as they walked past him, "Thanks man." he said before grabbing their bags and taking them in the room, "Ha ha ha! This is going to be great..look at this, the Rooks, the open water, this is a vacation." Ashlee smiled, "I know I'm so excited! Who are the two guys out there, you looked like you knew them? I've heard of the Gerry guy, but who's Tony?" Bryan looked over at Ashlee, and put her hand on her shoulder, leaning in closer, "Listen stay away from him, I'm serious, he's a druggie and he spells trouble. We're on a sober streak, remember?" Ashlee nodded, giving a slight smile and wrapping her arms around him, "Let's go say hi to the rest of the people on board."

They walked out on the deck and found a man who was frantic as hell, hoping he would recognize him, being an American music star, he walked over to him, "Hey man, relax, your in the arms of the ocean now." he said, spreading his arms in the way of the horizon, gesturing towards the open sea, "What's your name man? I'm Bryan, Bryan Kibbler, famous Country Musician? Ah fuck it, no one really knows me anyway, this is my fiancee Ashlee Haker." He said in a relaxed tone, with an excited smile on his face.

"Uhhh hey, my name's Vincent," he told them relaxing a little. So all of these people apparently a bunch of junkies, hookers, and ass holes. This trip seemed like it would be relaxing as Vincent had hoped. "So what songs have you made? I don't really listen to country often although I do like it," he told him nodding his head a little too much. He was nervous, he had no idea what to say. "I have to stop being so nervous," he thought. He stopped shaking his head and put on a normal face hiding any signs of him being nervous. "So how'd you two get here?" He asked scratching his hip a little.

Brooklyn and Frankie pulled up to the entrance of the docks in the old rental, the yacht was visible, it looked nice as it bobbed on the beautiful water, the sun reflected off the white hull of the ship, Brooklyn and Frankie exited the car and began wandering down the docks and toward the boat. "Hual! Here for the boat party mate!" he shouted up to the ship before quickly boarding, closely followed by Brooklyn, they wandered onto the deck, Frankie went to find his pal tony while Brooklyn went to talk to the other party goers, Brooklyn noticed a man whom looked like Bryan Kibbler who was talking to so other people, the country singer, she personally did not like his music, she decided to go and talk to him and his lady friend, she wandered over and offered out her hand towards the couple. "Sorry if I am interrupting, Names Brooklyn McRae, how do you all do on this fine day." she smiled as she repositioned her backpack with her stuff inside including a camera she used for filming her stunts "can't wait to get to the island."

"Me too. You know anything about this island?" He asked turning his attention to Brooklynn. "Name's Vincent by the way," he added waiting for the butler to show him his room. "How long is it to the island?" He asked again. He looked at his watch again then put it down. "So how'd y'all end up here anyways?" He asked yet again. He rolled his neck a little, yawned, then streched his back. He was still a little tired. Usually he slept to around noon, but today was different. And he didn't want to miss a minute of it.

Bryan smiled, "Newest single is called, 'Musta Had a Good Time', have kind of been lacking with songwriting lately though, thought this would give me some motivation." he said, looking at Ashlee with a smile, "Don't forget Lowdown and Lonesome!" Ashlee reminded him, with a laugh, it was her favorite song and he'd probably end up singing it by the end of the night. "Haha, yeah that one got top 10 on CMT the other week. Anyway, I met Tony awhile back while on tour, although," he lowered his voice a little, "I'm more taking to Gerry for..obvious reasons. We're trying to stay sober for awhi-" Suddenly a women seeming to be British introduced herself, "Well hello Brooklyn, I'm Bryan Kibbler, probably haven't heard of me, American Country singer and song writer? No didn't think so, she on the other hand could be considered famous," Bryan said with a laugh, Ashlee laughed with him, "Funny Bryan, this is my fiance, my name is Ashlee Haker and we're doing great, nothing like the feeling of freedom, huh? Who are you with by the way, very cute!" she glanced at Bryan, "Cuter than this monstrosity here at least." she laughed jokingly.

As all of Tony's friends showed up, Gerry decided to relax a bit and talk to the staff. Unlike Tony, he was actually friendly with the staff. He had high opinions of all of them, but he felt like they should all be working somewhere better than on some rich kid's yacht. Luckily, he'd have some friends that would be joining, such as fellow Army Captain McAuliffe and former Afghan cop Khan. Both men had become some of Gerry's closest friends, even though Gerry was kind of racist when it came to Afghans. As the kids socialized, Gerry leaned against the cabin of the yacht, smoking a Cohiba.

As everyone walked nearby, Tony enjoyed his joint and a glass of scotch. He waved to his people as they showed up, beckoning over.

"WOOHOOO!" he yelled at the top of his lungs.

Jason had gotten dressed in a casual leather jacket with a white muscle shirt underneath and blue jeans with brown boots. He drove up to the docks through taking a taxi and after paying the driver and getting a bag of clothes and other things he walked toward the group already here. He walked up the stairs walking through some of the others he saw around here. Jason being a former marine he was still full of muscle and worked out daily to keep it that way. He also had dog tags around his neck and a shaved head that way he woulden't feel so much like some regular civilian. He then decided to try and find Gerry.
