"This is metal encased with a ballistic shock-absorbing gel layer and a heat reduction gel layer inside it. And it also has temperature-regulation units integrated into it, so I'm harder to track via thermals and don't have much effect to changing environments." He said.

Naomi offered him a half smile that bordered on a cringe. "Prepare yourself," she said, drawing a small sphere in behind her. She lowered it to the floor and allowed it to dissolve. The succubus lay on the floor, her lavender color replaced by a deathly pallor and her face gaunt. She remained still, hardly breathing, curled in a fetal position with eyes half closed.

After another night of disturbed dreams, Bran grumbled to his bathroom for his morning shower and the like. He hadn't made it out of his clothes before he was puking in the toilet, Rachelle was awoken by this and ran in to help her father, bringing him to the couch as Rylli phoned in that he'd be staying home. The two wrapped some blankets around him and turned on the TV for him. They then put a note on the door announcing that Bran was sick.

Rylli frowned at her husband sympathetically and curled up on the couch with him, not concerned with catching whatever he had.

Klanov was in the kitchen, sipping on a regular Coke. Lidev was still cuddled up with Torii. Mon was in her room, practicing on her guitar that she used for the Christmas party concert.
