To Chancellor Kiesigner,
REFORGER Convoys are activated. Be aware that high-level talks are underway at present to de-escalate the present state of conflict. Destroy all units over the West German border, but refrain from conducting counter-attacks that could be interpereted as attacks on East Germany itself.
Use of tatical nuclear weapons to stop any serious breakthrough is authorized - actual use of said weapons discouraged unless the situation is extremely dire.
Signed,
Gerald Ford
President of the United States of America
To Prime Minister Henry Glasonfield,
The United States will not condone any British involvement in Africa at this time. Should British forces become involved with any independant nation in Africa in a way that does not match the interests of the American government, the consequences will be severe for the British, and could lead to a severing of the special relationship between our two countries.
Signed,
Gerald Ford
President of the United States of America

To Gerald Ford of the United States,
We are only deploying troops to Ghana and Nigeria to take out the currently winning Communist/Islamist Rebels, which are trying to overthrow the Pro-British Government, knowing that the British are aligned with the US. We wish for relations to not be severely lowered, as we are trying to restore order in some countries, especially those with current uprisings, so that they could have a time of Peace and joy.
Signed,
Prime Minister Henry Glasonfield

Prime Minister Henry Glasonfield,
You seem to have misunderstood me. The United States does not approve of any British involvement in Africa at present. I plan to continue the plan laid out by presidents before me to de-colonzie Africa to the fullest extent possible. British involvement, if any, in Africa, will only be conducted after the American government has approved it. Should the day come when my government deems it apropriate to restore order to countries that have fallen to communism, be assured that our British allies will be the first that we will turn to.

President Ford,
We apologize about sending forces into Africa without your approval, and they will be withdrawn and stationed in Saint Helena Marine Base until we get the signal for you. We will be waiting for your signal, and even if eligable, for your support. The Commonwealth Realms will not allow a single communist beast to take over our former colonies, and turn them into Warsaw Pact members.
Signed,
Prime Minister Henry Glasonfield

To the Government of the Republic of Somalia
Following the conclusion of recent discussions between the nations of the SABISA economic community, it has been decided that it would be beneficial to allow Somalia to join the organisation, as a Special Development Zone, as is the case with Cambodia. However, to join the group, your nation must promise not to fall into either economic camp, and to sign the Third Stance Developmental Agreement. I also suggest that you consider our suggestion of the African Continental Defence League.
Signed,
Prime Minister B.J. Vorster of South Africa

The South African representatives hoped that the Somalis would find all clauses agreeable.
Meanwhile, the government began the production of propaganda against the Soviet involvement in Saudi Arabia, encouraging peoples opinion to shift further from apathy and towards pro-royalist stances. It is expected that Afrikaner arms specialists in the Middle East will rise to nearly 700 by the end of the month.
