Gizarteans are working on a design for a boat, as they often travel on rafts to get to the seperate islands (including the one to the north). They have tried a larger version of a raft that has a roof, but that was 12 years ago and they havent returned.

Maogog is a small nation in the northeast. They are a cultured nation that have a keen interest in the stars. They are currently trying to work on a form of irragation to produce crops. A military of ten warriors have been recruited to protect the capital.

Oni is a collection of people known redundantly as Oni, all living on or near the western peninsula of a mountainous island. The Oni have invented terrace farming, allowing them to grow an ample supply of rice on the mountains near the capital of Odo. They have come to revere their leader, Emperor Shijiru, as a descendent of heavenly beings; and so they take his word as law.

Astarta is a city-state ruled by an elite council headed by King Praelius. Using their advanced bronze weapons they enslaved peoples of weaker tribes further down the river. The men of Astarta are trained from birth as warriors, while the women exercise and engage in activities that other civilizations would consider "unwomanly".

Shieldgar is a small nation in the northeast. It is comprised mostly of hunters, with dairy, pig and deer farmers supplying meat to the well-off and milk, cheese and butter to others. It has a rather large military, having half of its entire population being in it. They are master strategists and lords of stealth. The hunters are so good that a group of five have been known to take down large and dangerous herds of creatures, ranging from herds of 10 to 25 animals, generally done by herding them off a cliff. The hunters then take these strategic skills into the military, where they simply wait out their opponents and search for the weak spot.

A peasant has witnessed a leaf floating in his water. He approached Emperor Shijiru and showed him the bowl with the leaf. The emperor's wisemen claimed that it would be possible to make a leaf large enough to hold a person out of wood. Shijiru approved of the endeavor.

A contingent of 30 hoplites led by captain Tantakles have returned to Astarta from their impression expedition up the river with 33 slaves. No hoplites were killed.

Thomas Steele sat in his house in the center of Argentum, pondering the fledgling empire's position on the current maps of the world his scouts put together. Stone was currently very important to creating and expanding cities. He sent a petition to the council to order workers to start collecting whatever may be in the mountains to the north. Thomas also realized the advantage of paved roads and how much faster everything moved, and requested of his wisemen to determine how to build these roads.

Emperor Shijiru smiled as the boat under him slowly drifted in his pond. It was amazing; his subjects could build a whole fleet of these, and sail along the shore fishing or delivering messages. They could make them large enough to hold a hundred men.

"Peasant!" He call out to the propagator of this device,"I bestow upon you title of Daimyo, and give you a hundred acres!"

The new lord bowed, and dispersed to his new home.

Later that day the emperor feasted upon rice and fish when a warrior presented himself with a club. This bludgeon was by no means intended for Shijiru; instead the warrior had the imperial advisors study the weapon. It was a a wooden shaft carved into a perfect column, with sharpened pieces of stone shoved into it.

"The stone spikes make the weapon more lethal," the man claimed. The emperor saw the logic in this, and entitled him to 100 acres as he did with the peasant. Two inventions in one day; this was surely a sign that Oni shall prosper.

boat and stone cutting discovered.

King Praelius observed two soldiers spar as he waited for an expedition to return from the grassland. 100 hoplites were supposed to return from there today, with slaves and plunder. The king had personally sent his best man, Tantakles, to lead this endeavor. It would be terrible if they were not to return.

The horn sounded the return of the soldiers. Praelius rushed quickly to the walls of Kyras to see with his own eyes. At first it looked like a failure. 40-50 slaves, a few baskets of goods; but some of the soldier were riding horses. Horses! Praelius had heard of a tying horses to carts, but never riding them. That could break their backs! But there Tantakles was, 200 pounds, riding one. This expedition was not a failure after all.

Horse-riding discovered.

Travelers from abroad carry horrifying tales of horse-mounted raiders and barbarians called "the Kakophoni" attacking villages and encampments, plundering them of their goods, and leaving the people decapitated and burned. This horde of raiders rides with the burnt skulls of their victims impaled on spears, lances and pikes above them. They seem to take whatever can continue to supply their raiding parties and burn the rest.

A man was looking to the great crop fields when he saw some animal trying to eat it. He yelled to some men help me “those beasts are eating our crops, get them!”. The animals ran away for the angry men. After some time they were trapped between a cliff and the circle of men. "Now we got you". while he held a pointy stick ready the kill the animal. "WAIT, we can keep the make the fatter and then slaughter them". Good plan you make some ting to hold them. And we go to the Emperor.

In the palace of the Emperor the emperor was watching nature something so strange for a human. When a farmer walked in and said. My lord we found a way to trap animals and hold them for their products. Good now we have more grip of the mystery of nature...

The Kakophoni were picking clean a virtually defenseless tribal encampment while its men were out hunting game, too far away to rapidly respond to the cries of their women and children. One of the women, Randayna, said to be a healer and seer became the wife of Honchus the Penultimate, and began to cite oral historical lore of Honchus' exploits and proclaimed sayings. The Maogogs have constructed the first galley. The despot, Hussein, has ordered a team of ten warriors to explore the land. A new city called Mecca has been founded a few miles away. The Maogogs have began to worship a deity named Slendermeen. Research on bronze working has began.

Shijiru decided to take a small stroll through the capital of Odo, just to see the progress of one day. Within the walls workers carved thick rods and covered them in stone studs; they made ornate armor from bamboo. Carpenters constructed rafts as the emperor walked along the shore. He looked to the earthen pathways leading out of Odo to across Oni; roads that messengers traveled to seek soldiers for the coming storm. Progress was being made; Oni could set out to conquer the island within the month. The whole island would be under the heavens within a year. And he would reward his army with the lands they conquer, the generals with the warriors. A great storm was coming, and it would be brought about by the Emperor Shijiru, descendent of the Gods.

300 ships are now being constructed. 10,000 warriors are now being recruited

Tantakles was already adept at horseback riding, running in circles, throw spearing a target. Praelius was no satisfied with so few horses.

"I want more."

GeneralTantakles glanced to his king. "We'll set off tomorrow."

"I want enough for my army."

"That would be impractical my king."

"Why?"

"If you did that, then an army of 1,000 would have 2,000 mouths to feed. On top of that, you can't even fight from horseback with a sword or spear."

"You're fighting with a spear right now."

Tantakles dismounted the horse, letting another man ride it. Picking up a club leaning on the wall, he reared up as if to attack. The man rode the horse to the wall, turned it around, and trotted to the general. As the horse passed him, he swung, knocking the rider from his steed.

"You see," Tantakles turned to Praelius,"A rider has trouble staying on, and it doesn't help that people are trying to kill him. I've been working on a different idea: skirmishing. The cavalry ride up to the enemy, throw rocks and spear at them, and retreat, enticing the enemy into following. Either they follow into a trap or they exhaust themselves chasing the horses; in which case infantry move in and finish them off. You see my king, we require a variety of soldiers in order to triumph."

Tantakles climbed back onto the horse, and continued his practice.

The Astartans have discovered spear throwing, and may now construct javelin cavalry.

After realizing that simple bone and rock arrows and knives wouldn't work for much longer, Nicholas Fury, the leader of Shieldgar, to arranged the seers and wisemen to begin research in a stronger substitute. This is how Shieldgar advanced to the bronze age. It would take another few years, but it would happen.

Until then, they continued to use their strategy and stealth to their advantage.

The time was now. The Oni were ready to conquer the land. The had 10,000 men and 300 ships to do it with. The armies split into two divisions; one to travel north, and the other to go south. It was not long until Nippon was his.

Conquest of Nippon has begun.

A men walks on a mud road while pulling a cart with has nothing to help support the puller except for a small donkey. When he stumbles over a stone. A small stone rolled on his forehead. When he thought what is made round under the cart the horse/donkey can do it alone while you just sit on the cart. But donkey doesn't have grip on this mud shit so we need to make it stronger he taught while he saw the donkey slipped. A smile ran over his face, "it’s going to be alright boy'...

In a recent mining expedition, Pragian miners have found a large vein of metal, that, when heated, produced very strong tools that could cut stone, animals, wood, and people. Thomas looked out to the east, seeing a large road with carts rolling down it, people were connected like never before. A new city, Tirus, was founded on the edge of the woods where logging became very profitable with the new tools. Thomas looked to the island to the south, and wondering what lies beyond the ocean. "How could we get there" he wondered aloud. He would present the report to the council very soon on the progress made.

Iron working discovered (not other metals), new city to the east, roads forming

Nippon was slowly coming under Oni's control. The north was almost their's, and the resistance in the south would not last long. But as the fires of war blew, so did the fires of the new furnaces. An ore vein of iron had been discovered outside of the rising city of Arikawa, and some former prisoners taught the Oni how to turn it into tools for their freedom. Forges were erected within Arikawa, and the iron was turned into sharp and pointy weapons, that cut and slice instead of crush. The armor Oni's enemies have created to deflect the kanabo were now useless against the Tachi and the naginata.

Ironworking has been discovered. The sword has been invented. The spear has been invented.

It happened. Shijiru's worst fear has happened. As the Oni pushed south, they encountered resistance. But now that resistance was building, and momentum has ceased. The Oni have encountered enemies armed with tachi and naginata. They tried to attack Odo directly by boat. The offensive has ground to a halt at the city of Tanto. Oni's opponents, the Orichi, have succeeded in teaching Shijiru a new emotion: frustration.

Frustration has been discovered
Conquest of Nippon has stopped at Tanto(in the "o" in mountains.)

Pragian blacksmiths have been fusing all sorts of metals coming in from the mines, making new compounds, good and bad. Pragian settlements have been poping up around the nearby coast, but cities are few and far in between, and the markets are being overwhelmed with bartered goods, and the wisemen have come up with a solution: use pieces of smelted metals as the medium in which goods have value.

The dumani, tribal rulers in Romani culture, have met in the tribal meeting grounds of Rumi. They came with religious pilgrims, advisors, and beggars. Rumi was only filled to the brim during the meetings, and during the pilgramage season. The main topic of discussion was the population, and how it stagnated. The dumani decided to command farmers to find a way to farm the mountains. Also discussed was the discovery of two metals, copper and tin. They ordered an investigation into the properties of these metals.
Terrace Farming and Bronze are being researched.

Your test scores indicate that you are an open-minded ultra-progressive; this is the political profile one might associate with a journalist. It appears that you are skeptical towards religion, and have a generally optimistic attitude towards humanity in general.
Your attitudes towards economics appear neither committedly capitalist nor socialist, and combined with your social attitudes this creates the picture of someone who would generally be described as a liberal.
To round out the picture you appear to be, political preference aside, a considerate idealistic egalitarian with many strong convictions.

After many failed attempts at making a boat, Gizarteans finnaly create a boat with a curved outside that comes down to an acute angle at the bottom and has rowers at the bottom of the ship to propel it in the water (basically a viking ship). The Gizarteans sail east and come upon land. However, the land is inhabited with savage cannibals.

Hearing of contact of lesser tribes near the border, Fury authorized the invasion of the 'Outlands'. All of his military was brought together and briefed. Within a few hours, they were sent to the north, east and south, aiming to take control of the entire continent. Fury knew it would take a long time, but he was determined to make Shieldgar grow.
