No more so than any other collision sport, I wouldn't have said.

Football and rugby seem pretty similar in violence, if you ask me. Though, I'd definitely lean towards football.

no the dance/ritual thing not the sport.

Well it's mostly associated (these days) with the All Blacks and rugby isn't a particularly big sport in the States.

Not a big fan of rugby, but I do like the haka. Though it's not a patch on this.

It's the most powerful force in the universe, Mon.
Well, possibly second to the power of rock and roll, as I've done my best to indirectly establish.

Most powerful force in the universe?

The marines would love to have a pleasant, civilized conversation with you, your family.....possibly your pets too.
Your extended family, your rock shirts, your car, your classmates, your professors, your study buddies (if you have those) your friends also need to come down to the warehou- I mean Disneyland.

I'm just joking, Friendship is powerful. Just look at us. :p

I'm gonna be a @#$% and not post until tomorrow because holy hell it's late and I need to go to bed because I have class early tomorrow morning.

HOWEVER! It's the only thing I have to do for the entire day so I can get a post up after it (big test day tomorrow) which will be around noonish or so.

Mon, you utter @#$%.
Fine.
Have fun with tests and such.

On a different note, I've begun reading The Seven Pillars of Wisdom, Lawrence's book. For a guy who had no real formal writing experience, he sure knows his way around words:
"Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their mind wake in the day to find that all was vanity, but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act their dream with open eyes, and make it possible. This, I did."

"...If I have restored to the East some self-respect, a goal, ideals, if I have made the standard of rule of white over red more exigent, I have fitted those peoples in a degree for the new commonwealth in which the dominant races will forget their brute achievements, and white and red and yellow and brown and black will stand up together without side-glances in the service of the world."

This is clearly a book that Page would've read, I think.

Arthur Wellesley also never lost a battle to my knowledge. He also, while PM, foiled an assassination attempt on his own life by a madman.

The madman burst into his office with a knife and demanded to know where Wellesley was, because he wanted to kill him. The Iron Duke looked at him (I imagine witheringly) and said 'does it have to be right now?' before ordering him to leave and come back later. Which he did. (and was presumably then arrested)
