By the time she was an intern, excellence was a standard she up held and more; when she finally specialized, she paid off her student loans within three months, as everyone clamored to see the doctor. When the outbreak happened, she was in the hospital and a horde shambled in; she grabbed the emergency backpack on the wall, a scalpel she found laying on the floor, and ran to her car.
