Sorry, but its not that big of an event, sure the reason behind it is big. Someone just need to knock a person who's fighting randomly into a coma. And a coma is just the only thing I can think of that won't cause another dragon incident in a page or two later.

Kersh, like Tara was thinking to herself in my last IC post, the last time Antonio/Shade got himself into trouble the school was boarded by magical, multi-dimensional soldiers, bent on killing everyone. And a dragon. Don't forget the dragon.
How do you think everyone is going to react when this same person, not two weeks later, starts spouting purple smoke out of his face, and trying to kill his friend?

Speaking of the 'dragon incident', why would there be another one in a page or two? It's entirely within your control whether or not Antonio/Shade has another 'dragon incident'. There are a million different ways you could justify it IC, and it wouldn't be all that hard to accomplish.

And why would anyone knock him into a coma? There are better ways to subdue a person, that don't involve potentially killing them. For instance, Tara, CHRAM, and Fry could tackle him to the ground, and hold him there. Three students with super-strength could manage that, I think. That's not even thinking about what Burton could do, experienced as he is. Even if we were to knock him into a coma, we kind've need to know about it first.

I think my basic point here it that you could be doing all this character development without making Antonio/Shade the centre of attention.

I would not use the term "rant", as I think it is a harsh term. I would prefer to use the term "harangue".

To be fair, comas can be caused by trauma to the head. However, it would most likely have to be self-inflicted while struggling (most injuries from fist-fights are self-inflicted). I still agree with your method better.

I won't write something big for Tobias and Gregorio since I know their minor NPCs (Thank God I finally learn the lesson not to make minor characters into major ones.).

Oh, and if anyone's wondering, the corruption only affects Shade, so it has no effect over everyone else.

I also have an unfortunate problem of making every sub-plot I write to take over the main plot of my writing. I once wrote a story that starts with friends at school that develop into a large mess as I try to make every single plot point, character, setting, backstory, and relationship significant. Why and how I ended up mixing sci-fi, horror, fantasy, mystery, horror, slice-of-life, romance, and thriller genres, I have no idea.

I am a horror fan, and a thriller one as well. Your sub-plots do not have any horror or thriller traits to them and I'm seriously thinking of just packing my bags and moving completely over to Elfen and BOR. How crazy far are these subplots going to go as well?

Also: Is Cassie the only one here that seems to have no abilities that can assist in combat? Which works for her, obviously, since she's anti-fighting in any way. I know Jay's aren't exactly used for combat, but it sounded like his Ghost COULD be used for combat someday. Cassie's is just seeing where people are and seeing the future. That's not exactly something that boosts your combat abilities or lets you throw out random spikes at people and such. Caitlin's assists her in combat, even if it's not boosting her strength or letting her be a living Flamethrower.

Well, he didn't use a pick up line because he's not a shallow asshole, he is more along the lines of good intentioned insane idiot of person. I just realized another way this end with someone either making fun or insulting his 'brother' which in theory the mental strain could either cause him to crack, or send him into a coma.

It's more along the lines of early warning system, considering he has had people turn themselves into bombs and blow themselves up, he believes it is the right way to protect himself and his family. Plus, once he is sure a person ins't any sort of threat, he never worries about them again and therefore doesn't bother scanning people again due to the large amount of mental strain it creates.

That could be the case, but I have friends who hate people who they don't know hit on them so it is more a matter of personal preference.

Why should any of them trust a person that has no qualms with, essentially, looking at them in any way he pleases, and has the ability to do that whenever he wants, without any of them knowing?

Just because Will says something, even if he is sincere, doesn't mean anyone else will believe him. Do you really think Rachael will care, once she learns what Will can do, and has already done to Chram?
