Having a lot of fun with the tablet just now, although it's not as easy as I'd hoped. Rather than being like drawing with a pencil, it's more like having to learn to write all over again. Anyway, did a background for Scott and finished off the basic shape:

I have never liked the term "anime" because it effectively has only the meaning of "animation". It would be like if we were to refer to television shows and films as "Live-Action", which is such a broad term that can refer from everything from Monty Python's Flying Circus and Raiders of the Lost Ark to whatever is airing on Hugh Heffner's channel or worse, Toddlers and Tiaras (known to AP as "child abuse"). "Anime" current form refers to everything from The Girl who Leapt Through Time and Cowboy Bebop to things that should not be named and Neon Genesis Evangelion (also known as "post-modern existentialism: the monster-of-the-week show", did I mention I do not like post-modern existentialism?). The original form of "anime" (which is still in use) effectively refers to animation regardless of national origin or format, making it even more meaningless.

I am sorry, hearing you is impossible over the ghost of President Theodore Roosevelt cleaning up America of its ghost problem and the fact I am in a modern art museum (museums being quite and modern art being the creation of the C.I.A. for who knows what reason) which is saying you are too loud.
