That being said leveling up Ballistic Blades certainly means that narrow hallway encounters with things such as Brutes or Geth Pyros is now a lot less nerve wracking.

Batarian Soldier with Reegar Carbine pwns all. Geth Pyro? Ballistic Blades. Phantom? Ballistic Blades Banshee? Reegar Carbine, inferno grenade spam and Ballistic Blades!

Other build I find that work:
  • Human Soldier with Striker Assault Rifle - The Striker's a mini grenade launcher who's small magazine can be overcome by using Adrenaline Rush for an instant reload. Combine that with spamming frag grenades and concussive shot and you'll be devastating. Sure, you'll use up all your ammo in about thirty seconds but who cares when you just killed everything in one quarter of the map.
  • Cerberus Vanguard - Take the anti-armour upgrades for powers and the Reegar Carbine to deal with shields and then learn that nothing beats meleeing an Atlas to death while tentacle raping the Illusive Man's minions.
  • Asari Justicar - Reave and Lift have very short cooldowns, allowing you to combo them and spam biotic explosions ridiculously fast against normal enemies without relying on a teammate. For bad guys with shields and armour, spec your bubble to generate a warp effect and then Reave anything inside for exploding purple glory. Take any lightweight weapon with a scope for fast recharges and long-range biotics.
  • Human Engineer with M-90 Indra - The Indra's basically an assault rifle with a scope stuck on it. Now you can spam Overload and Incinerate from the other side of the map!

I'm still trying to find especially gamebreaking builds for the various sentinel and infiltrator classes, but all of the above are basically lol!

EDIT: I'm sorry Saune, you were saying something about devotion?
It may be a bit obvious but equipping a Geth Infiltrator with the Plasma SMG and Plasma Shotgun=Shooting Atlases in the back with charged shotgun blasts on gold. Very helpful to say the least.

Also of note is having a level 10 Mantis Sniper rifle. Giving that to any human infiltrator suddenly makes it a viable lighter alternative to either of the widows.

And yet this is all feeble by comparison, for what is more fun in ME3 than equipping your favorite Krogan Soldier with the biggest shotgun possible then just blasting, headbutting, and charging away with impunity, knowing that every single shot you take only just makes you more pissed off?

The Mantis X is my go-to for infiltrators, but I don't get the same sense of glee that comes from using the class in a totally game-breaking way like turning my soldiers into the Roman Gods of explosions, blades and flamethrowers. I also was't a fan of shotguns until I got the Reegar Flamethrower Carbine which still tends to limit my use of Krogan.

I take it you use Sentinels a lot then. If there's any class that isn't flummoxed easily...

I don't care what you think about it, Aeten. I approved the character, and whether the power makes scientific sense or not is irrelevant.

Actually the Sentinel's probably one of my least-used classes. I just can't work out a good way of using them except like soldiers with weird power sets.

Really? I tend to favor Sentinels, I've promoted more than any other class. I use them as a "stopper" of sorts. That mix of abilities means you can reasonably hold off a rather large force until the meat arrives to take care of the problem as well as work in biotic or tech explosions depending on which one you use. With sufficiently low cooldown rates you could feasibly clear out your own quarter of the map without relying on grenade-launcher rifles :P

I cannot turn my eyes away due to the art design, music, genre blending, and Steve Blum's acting. Since I just discovered the series I am currently watching, posts could stop entirely (that was a joke, ha ha, fat chance). If Shinichiro Watanabe made any more than the four twenty-six episode animes, it is reasonable that I would just do a marathon run and get it out of the way in one day.

Hello,

I have recently just found this rp and I would love to join it, but it seems it has been around for a while. Would it be possible for my character to join now at this piont in the IC or would it just not make sense?

Make an app and our OP will see if it's good enough. That's all there is to joining, when doesn't really matter. Plus recently there was a shuttle going to the school so you can say you were there if you get accepted.

I think you should add why and how he's being sent to the SSH in the bio, and... Well, the abilities aren't like what you put there, except telekinesis. Abilities are your character's superhuman powers. The rest you can probably put in your bio. Explain how he became good at archery and stuff.

That's just my opinion though. The rest looks good, I guess.
