Yes, but it also effectively stalls the engine whenever she really use that, so it is kind of reserved for emergency, especially after she get blasted from the sky once because of that. Arguably its usual effect is shadowed by the characteristics of the variable-geometry MiG-23, as well as her own incompetence, though being able to dispatch a Neuroi despite the shots are all over the place probably did show her ability.

All in all, shotgun actually suits Nerka well, as her magical ability made it quite a powerful weapon to quickly chip through them.

I replied that as well.

The server seems to be pretty unstable recently. I believe the post count was inactive for several days already.

That explains...
Nerka didn't refer Orlendo as a Sergeant, she referred her as "ma'am" in the boxed part. The "Sergeant" she was calling was actually Yuki.

Because tracing timeline is too troublesome, so I opt for sorting by rank and alphabet.

Well, depends.

For magical powers, it would vary with age as per the SW-verse. Older witches like Maria, at 19, would be past their prime, losing their ability to cast shields. They don't completely lose their powers, but their fighting potential would wane.

On the other hand, combat experience and training is also a crucial factor, so inexperienced witches like Nerka may not be able to fare as well in terms of dogfighting as say, Yuki or Svetlana, much less Sohvi.

All in all, we seem to be doing just fine, as long as we're dealing with small fry. Against bosses, however, I don't think it's something we're supposed to solo. The ultra-heavies only count as mid-bosses, so any witch with a high-caliber weapon would probably be able to take them out on their own.

In theory the prime of a witch is around 15-17.
That also leaves out a lot of factors, such as ability and talent...
