Good story! *nods*
I've been wondering about acronyms across languages for a while.

Another guy, let's call him M, looks it up, and says it can't be an acronym because the full party name doesn't line up with the letters. Other guy, let's call him A, argues that because it is German, it must work in a different way. This leads into a three-way argument about what qualifies as an acronym, translations, and the grammar of the German language.
Meanwhile, our English teacher (a job in which you are trained to know what acronyms and such are), who is fluent in German, is sitting about four feet away from us. It takes us a full 20 minutes to come up with the brilliant idea to ask him. Though honestly, he did sort of just handwave us all.
And because this is NationStates and I know it will happen, no, I don't want an answer to the question. I know that's a long-winding path nobody needs to go on right now.

Yeah, they don't do that in Germany.
He and his college friends learned that the hard way.

I wear teal, blue & pink for Swith
There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man’s fears, and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination.

Not posting tonight. Just got home. Eating cold dinner while typing on phone. In no mood to be creative or tackle probs.
I'll catch up tomorrow while people are at school/work.

In one's room isn't really a great place to be looking for interaction. Usually when I put my characters in my room, it means it's time for them to be left alone. There are public venues to go to where someone could reasonably walk into.

I was thinking about, when I'm done with Torii, having Katya in the sparring room with a sword.

Hehehehe, this brings back funny thing from, I think last year's thanksgiving, when Yoshi fought J'aluk.

I'm glad I found that guy's channel, too. I love nature, and Japan has some cool places. If I don't get to go to Alaska or hike through Appalachia, I want to see Japan. I remember, my grandpa was stationed in Yokohama, and then Tachikawa in the 1950's & 60's. He loved Japan. I wanna see the Shinto shrines on the mainland, and Okinawa too.
Hmm, J'aluk would probably be the more appropriate opponent, given their limited history, but Dr. Smith would probably be the one she'd be more comfortable with.
Want me to have her there now? I can get up a post or two before I get off. I'll keep posting for Torii and Jasmine, but move one of them out when I get the chance. I'll definitely be playing Torii during the ball.Tsuyoi tekikoku wrote:Edge has a punch force equal to a King Tiger's 88cm.

Well limited history, yes. But given some notes on their anatomy.....
Pfft, you call that armor? This is what real armor looks like!

GT, want me to move Katya to the sparring room when I can? She'll go for swords. Will there be rapiers or sabres? She'll ask about right arm armor as well.
