I'll do the Archivium thingy now.

Could I vie to fill the spot of Lord High Chamberlain or Lord Provost Marshal? Since I'm such a small, outlying realm the only way I see myself having a power angle would be as such.

I'd also like to offer Lord Rowan's elder brother Danos Dochaan as Commander of the Emperor's Blades. You may wonder why Danos would forsake his claim to the Fingertip as the eldest child, but in fact Lord Danos was the second son of the late Lord Cahal Dochaan, and Rowan his third. At age 17 Danos took his vows to enter the Blades. Over the years he proved himself a fantastic tactician and top class swordsman, which would bring him to the rank of Commander. When his elder brother Kewyn died in a hunting accident, Danos' younger brother Rowan became Lord of the Fingertip in his stead, a fact which still lingers in Danos' mind to this day (if accepted, of course).

Failing the position of Commander, I would at least like for one spot on the Blades for Danos. (If it please, Your Grace )

Oh, hmm. I thought they were all filled, but if I could, I'd apply lord's brother Valdior for Lord High Chamberlain. It's the kind of stuff he'd be skilled in; carting and road-building and history and applied sciences.

Are any of the Great Houses of a pseudo-Celtic origin and/or have their own heathen religion? I'm trying to find a Great House that fits, as my vassal house is going to be heathen and Celtic-ish

Hmm... I'm not quite an analogue, but the closest equivalent of my culture would probably be a mix of primitive Germanic and Celtic. Not sure about heathen though; we're quite urbanised, even if we aren't quite human-level-urbanite, and our religion is fairly weathered and mild.

Never mind, the archive answered that. Although, the guy who owns #12 is also (so it seems to me) quite Celtic. It should be a good fit, unless I am missing something.
