Herschel took another look above the rock. All he could see was treetops. He ducked back behind the rock and another soldier tried to run out, but barely avoided being hit by a sniper round. The other soldiers fired into the treetops to drive the sniper away. Come on think. How can I get this guy? Herschel turned to the soldier taking cover by him.
"Run out. Draw him out. I'll take him down." Herschel said.
"Are you crazy?"
"Come on. When have I ever been wrong about this kind of stuff?"
The soldier thought about it and complied. He ran out firing his rifle into the treetops. Herschel then looked over the rock and into the trees. Time seemed to slow down as he looked more carefully. The trees gave way to a blue color, and everything else was black. There in the trees he could see a red shape. He aimed and fired three rounds into it. As things returned to normal, a man fell dead from the tree. Herschel stood up as the other soldiers applauded him.
"Damn Herschel. That was amazing. It's like you have a sixth sense with these kinds of things."
"Yeah." Herschel said. "Come on, let's get back to base."

The helicopters weren't normal helicopter, but black and had the Templar cross on them. The soldiers were all armed with M16s and M1911s. Each wore an all-black uniform and had a Templar patch on them. They began firing at the village, killing everyone in sight. Children were cut in half, mothers were blown up by grenade launchers. The local militia began firing back, but were over powered.

"The Hueys are abandoned, and armed. I know how to fly, and you know how to shoot, therefore, I propose we 'commandeer' one and use it against them"

Vitaly wandered through the camp, observing the soldiers milling about. He was made conspicuous by both his very different attire and the large weapon slung on his back, even in its folded state it dwarfed an M-16 in length. He sat down near the main mess tent, taking off his destroyed boots and investigating to see if his feet had suffered more than just water.
