I'll be able to post after the 28th, but in the meantime I'll share something amusing I'm going to do for an AP Government project:

I need to make a powerpoint or video describing a piece of American foreign policy, so I'm doing the whole Crimean sanction thing. But I need to speak in it as well, so I'm going to VA throughout the whole thing. I'm probably going to go with a Russian accent. I'm going to do the whole presentation with a Russian accent as though it's my normal voice.

I DON'T EVEN CARE AT THIS POINT, I NEED TO DO SOMETHING FOR AMUSEMENT. MAY AS WELL PUT MY VOICE ACTING TO USE.

Honestly, in a 10 minute presentation I gave a few weeks ago in English where I talked about the folkloric and magical allusions in two short stories (NB: one of the things I talked about was the Scottish cù sìth), I slipped into a Scottish accent a couple of times, especially when quoting the story about the cù sìth.

I also told them that "grey = green", because in Scottish Gaelic there's a word that means both grey and green, and it was actually relevant to what I was talking about. It was great.

I got bored so I looked up some bullshit paranormal websites to pass the time and one of them had Google ads. I guess it works by reading the contents of the page and matching ads with similar words, because there were a bunch of ads for some sort of RC drone called a phantom. Basically I just love the idea that even the google ad robot looked at the website and was like "yeah, these people need to spend some time playing outside."
