For those of you that don't want to read through my history to find it, India is being gradually incorporated into the Empire, however, the land is open so if someone want's to be India they can be, they'll just have to work around or with British influence. We also own the Suez canal through direct ownership and as majority share holder. Lastly, we have trade concessions in China comparable to first and second and Opium War, including Hong Kong. (I just realized I didn't specify Hong Kong explicitly, but in my history I stated that the first Opium War continued as in rl, apologies).

As a side note, when I asked for South Africa I forgot to count Lesotho and Swaziland, and I requested Sumatra as well, so could those also please be added?

I agree, but I have to ask... exactly why can't we use made up politicians? I know I did. Because when it comes to massively important nations like America and Britain, obviously it's preferable to use real political figures. Completely making up new leaders, without even explaining how they got into power, is less than ideal. With some nations, like republican Canada, there aren't any real figures to use, since that area has historically had very little support for republicanism, but for the British Empire there's no excuse for making up a new leader.

History:[/b]At the end of the Napoleonic War and the battle of Waterloo, Prussia would find itself in a rather interesting position. In the immediate aftermath of the Congress of Vienna, the Prussian and Austrian Empires fought for influence of the German Confederation. No war actually occurred between these two rivals, however both sides quickly tried to influence the Confederation to fall under their sway. For a time, it seemed as if the Austrian government was succeeding considering the loyalty of four southern German States to the Austrian Crown. However it would be an outside influence in the name of Czechoslovakia that would help Prussia gain a foothold over the Confederation of the Rhine. In the 1830s, as Czech and Slovakian nationalistic fervor increased and the Austrian Crown turned inward to help alleviate the problems within the Empire. The Prussian King Frederick William III was able to use Austria’s internal discontent to push the southern states to accept legislation from the Prussian Crown, while also using its already existing alliances with the North to force them to accept being merged with Prussia.
In 1848, three very interesting developments occurred that would fundamentally alter the formation of the First German Reich. One would be the declaration of independence of Czechoslovakia from the Austrian Empire. Prussia quickly recognized the legitimacy of the nation, and suggested further trade talks in order to prevent an Austrian retaliation on the fledging state. This would have drastic effects on Austria as not only did it lose the wealthy Czech minorities and the formidable Sudetenland defense line but also a large amount of natural resource rich areas. This proved to be a death nail for Austrian influence in Southern Germany and allowed for Prussia to isolate these areas, geopolitically speaking.
However when the March Revolutions of 1848, could have potentially ended all the work that the Prussian Crown had been working towards for the last three decades. These uprising seemed to reject aristocratic social order as well as freedom of the press. Initially the Crown overreacted fearing they might wish to throw the nation into anarchy. However the Prussian Prime Minister at the time wisely realized that his popular discontent was divided between the middle class and the poor. While the middle class wanted to focus on more liberal social policies, the poor wanted more liberal economic policies. The Prime Minister met with middle class leaders in Berlin and in a stunning turn of events, individual liberties were expanded and would later establish that Germany would later have one of the most extensive list of personal freedoms in Europe. This historic event would later be known as the Berlin Agreement and one of the few time individual rights were expanded without bloodshed. However while the middle class were very much grateful for their demands being met, the poor were left to wither as popular support for their caused died out after many simply thought the goals of the revolutions were achieved. This is exactly what the Prime Minister predicted would occur if the middle class abandoned the poor.
After the March Revolution and the Berlin Agreement there was flurry of Pan-German Nationalism all throughout the Confederation. Life seemed the neighbor to the West, France, seemed to be suffering from violence not since seen since the Revolution of 1791. Many called for abdication, or more precisely his head, of King Louis-Philippe. Violence spread all throughout France and eventually the King himself was forced to resign. In the immediate aftermath, a Second Republic was formed and created policies that were known for their conservative policies that spat in the face of the February Revolution. Tension between Radical Republicans and Socialists began to boil over and it all came to ahead when the success of the Berlin Agreement reached the ears of the Parisian Crowd. Many liberals noted the success of obtaining personal liberty in a rather old, aristocratic nation. The Berlin Agreement would add fuel to a fire to an already planned strike known as the June Uprising. With the successes of Prussia being held up by all major liberal newspapers, the June Uprising received an extraordinary amount of new public support. This new public support simply made the violence more extensive and it still ended in the Second’s Republics Victory.
With more violence spreading across France, Prussia looked lustfully at one specific portion of the nation: Alsace-Lorraine. This area was incredibly important to Pan-German, as both the Confederation and France viewed the territory as their own. Preparations for one last invasion to ensure unification were drawn up and in December 1848 as Napoleon III prepared to take the thrown, an alliance of Prussian and German soldiers poured into the border. While the invasion itself faced minor setbacks at the battles of Dijion and Reims, the French Military soon fell into disarray after most notably at the Battle of Sedan and the Battle of Mars-La-Tour. Many military historians point to the public fatigue of violence, government poor bureaucratic planning immediately after the March Revolution, and the French Army’s reliance of peasants who had at the time were the most agitated toward the Regime. Whatever the case, the war ended with a Prussian military victory and the signing of the Treaty of Frankfurt which granted Alsace-Lorraine to Prussia.
Prussia was finally able to achieve total supremacy over the entire Confederation and soon enough old borders were disbanded. The ideals of local loyalty was replaced with national loyalty. For a thousand years, German had fought against German. But no longer. On the 20 August 1849, the aging King William III was crowned Kaiser of Prussia, the Ruhr, and Bavaria, signaling the establishment of the First German Reich.
From 1849 to 1862, Germany went through a period of rapid industrialization and large public works programs. In the 1820s and 1830s, Prussia had started the process of Industrialization and in the early 1840s, Jewish owned banks inside Prussia also invested heavily in the Ruhr Valley. However this ‘Decade of Industry’ saw large factories being built, new vehicles being built, technology being created and applied to the lives of ordinary Germans. It was a great time to live through and optimism was in the air. This decade firmly established Germany as a world power and a contender in Europe.
Then came the German Banking Crisis of 1862 which for a time led to a minor recession. However people’s perception of a crisis is usually large than the danger actually was. People panicked fearing what was to come and felt that Germany needed to be saved from destruction. They thought what was a natural correction was actually foreign elements seeking to bring down the glory of Germany. Nationalism became Xenophobia, and soon the ‘Wars of National Glory’ occurred. Germany needed to prove itself as a world power and the army set its sight towards its Northern Neighbor, Denmark. For a time German Nationalists felt that Denmark was actually a German territory that had lost its way, a feeling not reciprocated by the Danish Nationalists. The Second Schleswig War which lasted from February 1 to October 30(1864) ended with German Victory over the Danes. Denmark begged for a peace treaty with Schleswig, Holstein, and Lauenburg handed over to Germany, but no the public wanted more. The war ended with the Treaty of Vienna, which established Denmark as part of the German Reich.
The wars didn’t end there. Germany led the way for European expansion in Africa, with the eradication of local tribal and the establishment of German West and East Africa. Germany is setting the stage for ‘Pan Germania’ with its military, technological, and economic might.

"Herr Hauptsturmführer,I have the family you requested" the young Mann (Mann was a rank in the SS, equivalent to a private) stated, as he saluted the captain. Hauptsturmführer Färber looked from his desk just finishing his records of last week's trials. He was under extreme pressure from High Command to produce results,even some in the Wehrmacht were doubting his work calling it 'fantasy' and a waste of resources. The SS were more optimistic but he felt that he only had a small window of opportunity to show his worth, especially with the Wehrmacht retreating in the East.

"Bring them in, bring them in." Hanz stated as he gestured with his arm. Hanz stood up and walked towards the family to greet them. The Jewish family had recently arrived from the ghetto in Warsaw. The father walked in first, then the mother, and then the 7 year old twin two daughters, all wearing the Star of David armbands. They seemed nervous, as they should be, but the father felt like he must stay stoic to provide his children a rock for safety.

"How are you? How is your health? Where you well fed?' All of these questions were said in rapid succession to the Jewish Family. The father was quite shocked that the German was asking those questions to say the least, but in the whole grand scheme of things it made since. They were treated nicely, fed double rations and were taken here by car not by train. The father studied the German for a second, and realized that he was quite different. He did not speak with utter disdain to them, he seemed like he generally cared. He wore a black SS uniform, which was strange as the father recalled had seen those uniforms since the Nuremberg Rallies.

"Yes, we were treated well. What do you want with us?" the father pulled his children closer together and they gave him a bear hug fearing what would happen if they let go of his arms.

The German laughed and removed his hat, to brush his hair. "Yes, us Germans must always have an alternative motive". Hanz paced himself and looked at the man and then spoke to him more sternly. "I'm not like the rest. I don't kill to fulfill my barbaric urges. Such behavior would only fit the Neandertaler." The German looked away from the man and said "But you must understand this time in history offers me a great opportunity, to advance humanity and the sciences 50 years. No morality to hold me back. Nothing to stop me from unlocking the secret of our evolution."

The Jewish Father narrowed his eyes, "What do you mean?"

Hanz ignored the man and addressed the Mann, who was leaning against the wall, "Take our guests to the laboratory"

"Yes Herr Hauptsturmführer" the Private regained his posture and gestured to two other guards outside. They walked in and they grabbed the children and the wife. The daughters cried in fear as one guard pulled them away from their father, while the father tried his best to hold on, but to no avail. They were pulled from the office and forced to another room at the other side of the hall. The father struggled to brake free, and in those chaotic moments saw the Head German walking behind them, retaining his composure.

"Dear God" the father stated as stumbled to stand up after he had been forced into the room. He looked around and saw to his horror: saws on the wall, metallic tables, and syringes being filled with an unknown substance by three other scientists.

"Please remove your clothing" the Head German ordered as he walked through the door.

The father pleaded, "Please let my children keep their purity. Do what you must to me, let my family go."

"Admirable but futile" the German pulled out a pistol and aimed at the daughters. The daughters recoiled in fear and looked away. "Please cooperate."

"Joshua, we must" the wife stated as she began to take her blouse off. Joshua resigned in fear and started to remove his pants. One by one, the whole family stripped bare naked and looked down out of embarrassment.

"Please strap them onto the tables" the German ordered to the guards. The guards led the family to four different cold, metallic tables. One by one they used leather straps to hold their arms and legs in place. The Father looked at the German with utter hatred as the guards finished strapping him in.

Hanz looked to the other scientists. "Is it ready?"

One took the lead and responded. "Yes, this will be trial 47."

"Good, take note of the results." the German preceded to put a white lab coat over his uniform and grab a syringe from the scientist. Each scientist went to one, different family member. Hanz went to the father and grabbed his scrawny arm.

"Please, have mercy!" the father shouted as he broke down crying on the table. "Please let my family go!"

The German paid no attention and injected the man with the prototype serum.

Max sat there, twiddling his thumbs. Looking at the massive city thinking about everyone that lived in it... all of the stories of people's lives.
Huh, who would've thought living with no rules and having superpowers would be so boring... he thought. He was on top of a roof near the sea. Slight snow on the ground and small flakes falling from the sky. Max played about with his powers, freezing the water vapour in the air to create small sculptures that he would later turn back into water and drop on unexpecting citizens. After a while he got bored, so he decided to get down. Running down the stairway of the abandoned building, with ice all over the walls and snow on the ground, he eventually got to the door. He opened it and walked outside, freezing the lock on the door behind him so no one could get in, of course this was easy and discreet to do in winter as no one expected different.

He made his way down the street in his large coat with his hands in his pockets. His face was partially covered by a scarf and a cap hat. With his head down, he got to the end of the street and saw a man in a suit. He looked relatively wealthy. Max pulled out a gun and pinned it against the mans back, his coat covering the gun.
"You're gonna walk and take a right down that alley, then you're gonna give me all of your money. Understand? Any hesitation and you're dead..." He stated.
"Uh... wh... um"
"DO you understand?" Max said more slowly
"Um... yes"
The two walked then the man went down the alley, followed by Max. The man got out his wallet and gave Max all of his credit cards and cash.
"The police will catch you y'know... I am a very powerful ma-"
He was cut off, Max has just froze his body. In about 30 minutes the man would be dead from hypothermia and frostbite, anyway people that discover the body will put it down to the cold weather. Max then walked out of the alley, prepared to spend his 'hard earned' cash.

'Thomas Schuester' watched the young man walk out of the alley. No doubt the other man who had went in with him was dead, probably frozen. Schuester watched from the back seat of a SUV, the tinted windows and the darkness of the night preventing anyone from looking inside. Schuester leaned back and gulped some water from a plastic bottle.

"So how is he special?" The Driver asked, also studying the young man walking away from the murder site.

"He's a child of mine, that makes him special." Schuester said as looked at the chair where the driver sat, and then returned his gaze back to the young man.

The Driver didn't look back but did respond. "No what I mean is, um ,that you usually don't go along with me on these missions."

"I read his case file, I was curious." The young man was by that time quite far from the SUV. "Drive towards him, now."

"Sir?"

"Yes, Charles. Do you object?" Schuester asked

"No, no. I just wanted to confirm." Charles rubbed his bald head and started the car. He drove towards the young man, scared he might notice.

"Drive closer. I'm going to go talk with him."

"Huuh. Yes sir." The Black man drove close to the young man, and then stopped in the empty street. "Sir I will be right here." Charles said, while at the same time raised Glock up towards the roof.

"Thank you Charles." Schuester walked out of the car and approached the young man. Schuester adjusted his red tie and made sure his wig was on properly. "Hello, may I have a word with you?"430
