Remember Vladivostok? modern ships can easily make it far enough, plus nuclear powered vessels have no operating range. they might need to rearm and pick up supplies every once in a while, but fuel is a non-issue for nuclear powered vessels and that makes things much easier

Assuming that the United States let's the vessel get close enough to attack The US. Maybe you could reach Hawaii, but anything else just seems like the US will detect it and blow it out of the water.

thats assuming the US had underwater sonar all across the east pacific, which is a pretty difficult thing to do, that plus the fact that the typhoon class SSBn was the most stealthy submarine of the time make that task pretty impossible.

I believe you are correct. This is why I should've put a cap on the number of players seeing as it gets way of of control and people go inactive.

True, assuming that the USSR would actually go to war with the US. I mean, the reason that the Cold War stayed Cold, even when the USSR had the chance to place nukes in Cuba, is partly because The United States and it's allies had a slight upper hand and mostly because if any side launched nukes the ensuing nuclear war and war would have destroyed most of the world's population, and after that a Nuclear Winter would have killed off the rest. If these two sides went to war, no one would win.
