We've all known that kind of person. Hell, we've probably encountered players like that on NS as well. We had one in this RP for a while (not pointing any fngers- could've been a player who left or even one that's still here but has gotten better). Actually, we might've had a few, depending on your perspective.

Giovenith wrote:Today in gym class, the teacher warmed us up by making us play a game similar to tag, only you run with your arm linked around a partner's as two people run around trying to take everyone. If tagged, you and your partner had to form a bridge with your arms and stay in place until another duo ran under your "bridge" thus unfreezing you. One big rule is that you had to stay connected to your partner, you couldn't separate, because if you did, that would automatically freeze the both of you into a bridge.
Because the teacher had made us play games that involved linking arms with others and running before, and as a result, having often been practically flung like a frisbee due to being linked with someone who was stronger than me attempting to turn at a faster-than-I speed, I had to ask, "Teacher, what if we're running and accidentally fling our partner? Like, we get thrown off by the laws of physics." Keeping in mind Gio-kins barely understands the laws of physics, but was pretty sure they were involved in this scenario.
The teacher so kindly responded, "If the laws of physics flings you to the side... you're still frozen."
Thus the game began! People mostly kept to the edges on the opposite side of where ever the taggers were, as is the common strategy, and then bolted whenever they came closer. My partner and I were tagged once, and froze. Two girls came and unfroze us, but were also mid-flight from one of the taggers who was coming right at us all, which of course caused my (much stronger) partner to attempt to yank us away, even though there was barely enough room between us, the girls, the tagger, and the wall. Also, my sweat pants were too long. Slipping on their edge on the slippery gym floor due to the hasty escape attempt, I went crashing to the ground, but managed to cry out while doing so, "PHYSIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICS!!!!!" before also bringing down my partner (who was still linked to me), the girls (who my partner had grabbed out of reaction), and the tagger (who couldn't stop from running) to the floor as well. We all actually slid a bit on the floor due to our soft gym clothes.
Nobody was hurt, but it was one of those moments where a bunch of people fail so hard, they laugh at it as an epic win (and also because laughing at momentary recklessness is just what teens do). "PHYSICS!" was the new joking-battlecry of the rest of the day. Ja.
Is NVE leaving for computer trouble this week?
