Guards
The guards looked at Woodrow, then at each other, surprised by the young boys offer of Whiskey to them. Most of them felt like this was a way to try and seem all friendly and inviting, though, so they weren't sure they should trust it. Well, they trusted the Whiskey itself, but should they really get all comfortable with the people that had come into their base unexpected like this? The leader may have been fine with it, but some of the guards weren't. A couple of the men looked tempted to take Woodrow up on his offer, but most of them stayed their ground, keeping their weapons pointed towards the group, to make sure they didn't do anything. None of them said anything, except brief whispers to each other.

Electra
Electra followed Josh to wherever it was he was taking her, very alert. She was still armed, so if he attempted anything, she could defend herself. She wasn't entirely sure what she was doing, wandering off with him alone, but he wanted her to follow and she wanted to follow him, as well. Probably because she preferred the idea of getting mad at him alone than getting mad at him around all of his men, and her own group. She felt like that could possibly end badly somehow. His men get jumpy, and shoot her thinking she was going to hurt him. If she acted threatening to him alone, it would likely go better than being surrounded by the others. She didn't want to erupt it into some big fight between her group and his group because both sides possibly got antsy and started shooting at each other.

As soon as Josh slowed to a stop outside of one of the buildings, where there were two guards outside of it giving Josh a nod as he approached, Electra started pressuring him for answers. "Where is my sister?" She asked, looking determined. Why she asked where her sister was, and not her entire family, who knows. But she didn't care how stupid it may be to ask as the first thing before Josh was even able to talk to her about stuff, she wanted to know, despite the fact she didn't really expect a real answer. All he did was scoff and chuckle in response to her asking him questions like that already.

"Where the hell is my sister?" Electra asked him more sternly this time, looking angry at him because she had this feeling that it was definitely him that had taken her sister. That he had probably kidnapped her. Maybe the rest of her family, too. As bad as it sounded, that was what she hoped for. It made it much more likely that they could all be alive still, over them just being killed from the get go during the attack.

"I'm sorry to inform you Electra, but she got killed about a week ago. You're a bit too late. I'm sorry. I'm sure you've been waiting to find her alive for a long time now, but you were too slow" Josh said, and he started to smirk, making Electra clench her fists and want to punch Josh in the face. Repeatedly. "She became too emotionally damaged to be of any use to us anymore. She was completely broken inside. You could tell that she was only really partly here anymore, and it made her no longer useful as our little slave. But she was quite useful while she lasted. Running around doing our bidding, and being the sexual relief for the men when they needed it. We all loved her. It's a shame, really" He smirked even more as he explained things further, seeing very well that Electra believed every word of it.

Unsurprisingly, it made Electra pissed. She looked really angry, and clenched her fists even tighter. Without even thinking it over properly, and how stupid of an idea it was, especially in front of the guards, she whipped out her sword and charged at Josh, wanting to stab him repeatedly until he dropped dead. But Josh wasn't entirely stupid, having expected her to lash out at him for his comments. She was rather predictable. Easily angered teenage girl. He had known she could be easily angered since before they had attacked her home, having known her before then when they had been scouting the place and pretending to be nice. And now she seemed to be even more so, so he was using that as a way to piss her off and make her useless to fighting him, or any of them. And it worked. He grabbed her arm with the blade, keeping it away from himself, and as she tried to punch him with the other, he grabbed her other arm. The guards nearby became on edge, but Josh gave them a nod to show them that he had it under control. But even though he had a hold of her now, he needed to make her drop the blade, because she wasn't about ready to just give it up, struggling against his superior strength. He took a firm grip of her arm, and bashed her fingers into the nearby buildings side, which was made of rather strong, rough materials. As hard as she still tried to hold onto it, she only lasted through him bashing her fingers against the rough material 2 times before she let go of her sword, it clanking to the ground. You could tell from the pained look in her eyes while he was bashing her fingers that it definitely hurt her, and now that they were open and bleeding, the air stung against the wounds. But she did her best to ignore the pain, anyway.

"Nice try" Josh said, yanking her arms around, shoving her against the wall, and putting her into an arm lock. "But you're so predictable. You get angry, and lash out. Too easy. I was hoping you would be better than that after 2 years" He said, shaking his head lightly, despite the fact she was being pushed against a wall and couldn't see him. "But I guess anger gets the best of everyone sometimes" He said, roughly pulling her away from the wall, then pushing her forwards, while still holding her, towards where the guards were and into the rather empty building. Electra actually seemed to be a little scared now. Where the hell was he taking her, and what the hell was he going to do to her? She shuddered. The thought of another attempted rape 3 days after her last, or worse, an actual rape, made her scared, but she tried to keep her senses straight so she could get out of it if that was in fact the case. She didn't even try to squirm free, knowing it was a waste of energy. She just walked along with him until they were a ways into the building, away from the front door.

Once they had got to a certain point, she stopped suddenly, which made him shove her in annoyance at her trying to play games with him, but before he could really do much beyond that, in the bit of a break she made herself, she kicked him in the kneecap, effectively making him let go of her. Now that her arms were free, she looked a bit relieved, but she knew this wasn't quite over yet. She smashed him in the face and then followed that with a kick into his stomach, making him fall over. She quickly pulled out her dagger and got down over him so he couldn't try and move away from her, and now he was the one with the scared look, while she had a sadistic, vengeful look on her face.

With Josh pinned down, attempting to get up but being stuck enough, she stabbed the dagger into his hand, making him cry out in pain, but apparently they were far enough away from the front door now that the guards didn't hear a thing. "That's for attacking my home" She growled, following those words by stabbing his other hand. "That's for separating my family" She growled again, and yet again followed that by stabbing him somewhere else, this time into his arm. "That's for killing my sister! And probably my parents, too!" She shouted in anger. This time, she stabbed him in the stomach. He was already in excruciating pain, and trying to break free so he could cover his wound to make the air blow on it less, and to stop the bleeding, but it was hopeless, and he was starting to slowly bleed out. Especially after she stabbed him into the stomach. But he was still alive. "That's for using and raping my sister!" She shouted, twisting the blade around to make the pain worse. He was pretty much frozen in shock and pain to do anything worthwhile, or reply to anything she was saying, but she didn't care. This time, she followed her twisting of her blade with stabbing him repeatedly in the stomach, about 5 times, making blood splatter onto herself beyond just getting all over her hands. At this point, he was pretty much dead, but that didn't stop her from stabbing him 10 more times in the chest, guaranteeing his death.

When she came back to more of her senses, she looked a little horrified at what she had done, and quickly jumped up to her feet, looking down at the body with multiple holes seeping blood out of them, all done by her. She was certainly glad that he was dead, completely fed up with the asshole and knowing the world was a better place without him, but that didn't change the fact that she was still in a bit of shock at what she had done. It also changed the events of today, and she had this bad feeling things were about to get uglier because of this. She had killed the leader of these people, in their own base. That wasn't exactly something that was going to go over well with the others.

She gave one last look at Josh, lying there in his own blood, before heading towards the door and formulating a plan on her way to deal with the two guards watching the door, who hadn't heard a single thing. Like she had hoped, she managed to get far enough away from them to be out of earshot before she attacked him. Now she just hoped she could take on the guards, without them shooting off a single gun to bring attention her way. She decided that the quick and abrupt approach would probably be the most likely one to end well for her.

Taking a deep breath, she gripped her dagger tightly and burst through the front door. One of the guards turned her way, expecting that the leader was coming back out after he was done with whatever it was he was doing, despite it being rather quick. But before he could realize that something was off, and the leader was nowhere to be seen, he found a blade slashing across his throat, making him choke to death on his own blood, unable to say any words and falling to the ground. Before the man even managed to finish falling to the ground, she moved onto the other guard, who was very alert that something was off now by the noises going on next to him. He shouted something, but not loud enough for anybody else to hear except Electra, and pointed a gun at her. But it was too late for him to actually accomplish anything, and Electra grabbed the gun firmly, keeping his finger off of the trigger so he couldn't attempt to shoot at her or alert anybody else, and eventually managed to yank the gun free from his hands. As soon as he was disarmed, he looked a little freaked out, and Electra bashed his head rather hard with the end of the gun, knocking him out onto the ground. For good measure, she hit him a couple more times, not caring if it killed him or not. She glanced at the two people that she had defeated, then put the gun into safety and dropped it down onto the guys head, following that with walking off without a second glance at the people she defeated. Quickly though, she hurried up her pace to a running speed, to get back to her group and tell them that there was a change of plan due to things not quite going how she wanted them to.

"We have to leave. Now" Electra said quietly to the first person that she approached, which was Drake. Though, she looked nervous and antsy enough about something to alert the others, and spoke loud enough for them to somewhat hear her. The guards, while alert, didn't seem to immediately notice anything wrong about the fact that Electra kinda just came back without Josh. And was covered in blood. "There has been a change in plans" She told him, looking over at the guards nervously. Drake could probably guess that something had definitely not gone the way it probably should have by seeing that she was covered in blood, and it didn't look like she had any major enough injuries for it to be her own. The only real injuries she had other than maybe some minor ones was her bleeding knuckles on one of her hands.

Guards: After Electra Got Back
"Hey! What are you doing?" One of the men who was keeping watch of the rest of the group while Electra wandered off with the leader said. He said that to Electra, despite the fact there was nothing really specific and noteworthy that she was doing, other than talking to the others hurriedly. The reason he asked that question was because of her wandering back alone, covered in blood, because she couldn't exactly just hide that and expect to get out of here without them noticing. And she knew that, but she figured there weren't many options for her to do at this point.

"Where is Josh?" He asked her, and Electra wasn't sure how exactly to respond without escalating things. But saying nothing would escalate things, as well. "He gave me no other choice but to kill him after our conversation went sour" She told him, on edge, ready to strike out if something happened. She figured the honest, truthful approach would be the best bet at this moment. Things were likely to get ugly, no matter what she said, so she figured she'd give herself some satisfaction by telling them that she had killed their leader.

And as she feared, things were in fact about to escalate. The guy who had asked her what happened first, in response to her saying that she had killed their leader, was pissed, and wanted to get revenge for their leader by killing this stupid girl that had come into their home with friends and had caused so many problems already. So in his anger, he whipped out his revolver like he was in a western movie, but that was a mistake on his part, because Electra was prepared and was the faster one to draw her weapon, quickly pulling out her own handgun and shooting the guy in the stomach, then in the chest, killing him instantly. This of course set off another chain of events with the other people watching them, and the others in Electra's group. Another one of the men, for seemingly no reason at all, drew his weapon and fired a shot in Cathal's direction, instead of Electra, who was the one who drew her weapon first on this side of the shootout. The man quickly regretted that decision when he got shot in the head by Electra when she caught a glimpse of him shooting at Cathal, but she hadn't been quick enough, because the shot had already been fired from his weapon...

Liliana
Liliana let out a gasp when she heard the gunshots go off, and not distant, far away ones, either, but gunshots going off right inside the military base. She really hoped it wasn't her sister now, because she was fearful that she had just been executed on the spot. Though the shooting didn't really sound like an execution shooting, because the shots being fired came off as pretty sporadic. She bit her lip, having the distinct feeling that she probably wanted to get out of here even quicker now than before.

"That doesn't sound good..." Liliana said, and she went and grabbed what appeared to be a frying pan inside their area. She went up to one of the windows and peaked out of it, and saw a few of the other lingering men wandering off in the direction of the gunshots. But the guard standing at the front door remained where he was, deciding that he should stay because a close off encounter like this was a perfect time for all the slaves to attempt an escape if he wandered off. If things were unsteady inside the whole place, things could get ugly. He had a feeling it was the fault of the stupid newcomers, and he still wondered why they were let inside in the first place.

"We can try and make a break soon. It looks like they're all getting distracted, except the man in the front..." Liliana said. "But not yet, just soon" She added.

Colin
Colin listened to the story that Mr. Cowden told to him about where he and his daughters used to be, and how the two of them that he apparently ended up hanging around with he barely knew, and got two daughters from them. He realized that he had a point, and maybe being practical strangers wasn't such a big deal in this society anymore like it may have been back in the day. Not that it was entirely a big deal back in the day, either, but he felt that it might be even less so now. Things were different. People were different. It changed the entire culture of the world again, and he was beginning to think that he should just accept that and stop living in old world ideals of what was considered to be "normal", or the right way to do things always. He needed something different in his life. Maybe something...good. Just a change from the normal loneliness he has gone through lately, and this could be it. Even when he patted his gun he didn't seem unnerved by it, understanding completely, and nodding his head. "You're right. You're completely right" Was all he said in response to everything he had just said about his little story.

Colin nodded his head slowly to what Mr. Cowden said about how him leaving would complicate things, but his nod seemed to be a bit grim, like part of him really didn't want to leave. A bit strange or not, these people were the first to really show him any sort of kindness in a while, and he couldn't help but appreciate that. And having people to stay with he knew could be good for him right now, to help him keep his sanity which he knew he might slowly lose over time being alone for so long. He listened to what Mr. Cowden said next about helping him and reasons why it would be good for them to, and he almost disregarded his help at first before he carried on further, but by the time he was done, he fell silent for a bit before being able to form a response to what he said.

"Yeah, okay, you guys can help me..." Colin said after a bit, admitting that he could probably use some help with this if he had any hope of getting his family back. "Whatever it is you need compensation for, I will do my best to try and help you with whatever it is" He said to the part where he said he wasn't a foolish man, and that there would need to be compensation for this. "If you need help with something in return, I'll help you. You guys at least deserve that for offering to help me" He said sincerely.

Electra's group had followed her inside without question, but when she'd left on her own to go talk to the leader, Drake began to question that idea. What if this had all been some intricate plan? A trap? They seemed awful willing to just let Electra in, and to talk to their leader. What if it was because she was with them? He stifled his doubts, because either way, it didn't really make a difference to them right now. Either Electra would help them get out, or they'd have to get out themselves.

When the shiz hit the fan, Drake drew his guns and fired at anyone who seemed to be a threat, but wasn't very helpful due to the fact that when he took a step back, his injured leg gave out, sending him sprawling to the ground.

Cathal had just waited silently, positive as ever, when Electra had left. When she got back and things went to hell, he didn't really have time to be positive, because Electra didn't have time to stop the guy from firing. The bullet pierced his abdomen, and he collapsed back against a wall, letting out a cry of pain.

(Cole)
Cole walked slowly towards the city, barely able to put one foot in front of the other. He was dehydrated and starving, not to mention injured. He'd tried to fight off the men who'd robbed him, but he'd only managed to get away with his weapons. He had a deep cut on his leg, and another on his arm, and he'd lot a fair amount of blood, but he kept walking. He didn't even know why. All he wanted to do was lay down to sleep. Maybe once he got inside the city, he could rest. Little did he know that the city was already occupied by a group who may or may not be welcoming to him.

He simply continued onward, making his way in to the city.

Erica nodded slightly. She was going to enjoy his company. Erica tended to dislike those who tried to put authority over her, but this was a mission for Chuck. Chuck had been almost like a father to her, or at least, a grandfather. Either way, Erica had known Chuck since forever. Seeing as Chuck wanted this, then she'd do it for him. Not to entertain Atlas' wishes to be a leader. Erica walked with him toward the door after grabbing her assault rifle and slinging it over her shoulder. She spoke.
"Aye aye, Captain.", she said, jokingly. She obviously didn't take Atlas seriously, but seemed to want to do the mission regardless.

"Don't take me seriously if you want," Atlas said, shrugging,"Doesn't change what I said." He headed out of the door. If she had seen him before, when he was acting nervous and almost like he was unprepared for this world, she would have had a hard time believing he was the same person. He kept on walking in silence without a word. When they got close to their destination, he stuck close to the wall and the shadows.

Sewers, Seattle, Washington

Erica continued following Atlas, being quiet simply because she didn't care for the newbie. If the newbie left her alone, that was fine; she knew the sewers well enough. The newbie didn't. Even if he did have a map, running, he'd probably lose it. So, Erica decided it was a bluff due to this information in her favor. Erica continued following, being quiet, not stepping in the sewer "water".

Teague, Roni, & Léonce

Of the three boys, Léonce was pretty evidently uninterested in what was happening outside. A little brawl, maybe? He couldn't guess and didn't even want to know. Though he wanted to get out of this place he wanted a rest, too. Teague on the other hand was more evidently getting nervous. He had taken his scarf off and had just flung it off in some random direction. He was leaving it now.

Roni stayed by the door, tail wagging as always. He was quite interested in the new smells, and the now much stronger smell of blood. Teague came up beside him and knelt down. Surely the dog could smell the guard outside. Another idea came up in his mind and he walked over to Liliana.
"Hey, see." he waved a hand at Roni who was still absorbed with all the new smells. The gunshots had made him a bit jumpy, but he still responded well to Teague. "My dad told me something else about Roni. He can bite. Like, pretty hard. He's a hunter, so... That'll come in handy later. He used to catch rabbits and birds for us before we got dumped in here."

Unlike Léonce, Teague was pretty determined to escape. "When exactly is this... Soon?" he asked later, watching Roni stalk about by the windows.

Atlas made his way to the place they were supposed to scout, staying silent. Each footfall was light, like sneaking around was something he was far from new to. When they were at the entrance to the potential colony, Atlas unholstered his guns, making sure they were loaded, then stashed the map in his pocket before heading in.

Sewers, Seattle, Washington

Erica armed her machine gun, heading in behind him. She turned on her mask's flashlight, so she could see; it was too damn dark to see without it.
There were ten infected. Runners. They turned around at the flash of light. A few of them wore armor similar to Erica's. Erica opened fire without question on the Runners, because they can run and taking them out before they can is a good idea.

As soon as the infected were shown by the light, Atlas opened fire as well. Each shot was quick and precise, in the head each time. He had learned how to save bullets in his time alone in the world, with little ammo. It probably wouldn't take long for the runners to be dead with both of them firing. "These can't be why the scouts never made it back. If it is I think I overestimated you people's survival skills," He didn't say it in a rude way, just as an observation.

Erica nodded in agreement. That couldn't be it. She looked at Atlas, pulling on her gasmask tighter, and tossing him a spare one.
"Just in case there's an infectious cloud nearby. That could be what got them, especially if they were distracted by runners.", she said.
She looked around cautiously, keeping her gun armed.

"Put down your weapons! All of you!" Steven shouted suddenly, his voice freezing all of the men on the spot, and Electra froze at the same time, keeping her weapon pointed towards one of the men, who was doing the same with her. A few of the men had dropped dead, but none of them from her group had died yet. Though, she took note that Cathal had been hit, and she glanced his way worriedly, but mostly focused on the new arrival himself, who she had known before too, but not as well as Josh. She had the distinct feeling he was the second in command, though, making him now the leader. So she was a bit uneasy, but relieved at the same time that things appeared to be calmed down for the time being.

"No need for any more bloodshed today. Put your weapons down" Steven continued more calmly, stepping closer to his men and the group that had arrived and appeared to cause some problems. Most of the men on Steven's side put their weapons down as ordered, but Electra didn't put hers down yet. One man didn't put his weapon down, and said "But she killed our leader. Shouldn't we kill her and the others because of that?"

"No, no, no. His loss is a terrible one, yes, but what's the fun in killing them? I always found being locked into cells a more fun and entertaining punishment for people that cause trouble like this. Don't you think?" Steven asked the man, getting close to him and sticking his face in front of his. The man stared at him for a bit, nodded his head quickly, and put his weapon down, making Steven smile and then turn on his heels to face Electra and her group.

"You are at a disadvantage here now miss, so put your weapons down and tell your friends to do so as well. All that will come of this is your death. So be smart" Steven said. He knew who she was. He easily recognized her. But he still acted as if he didn't know exactly who she was. She glared at them, but then let out a sigh and lowered her handgun, holstering it again. She gave a nod of her head to the others in her group to do the same, and a look of guilt came across her face at the fact she now had gotten her entire group into a situation where there was no way they wouldn't get captured at this point.

"Good girl. Now men, grab and disarm them, and take them to the cells" Steven said, and with that, the men approached them all, pulling their arms behind their backs, taking off all their weapons they had, and pushing them forwards with weapons pointed at them again just in case things did end up going badly with them trying to make some sort of break. Electra didn't even fight it, deciding to go along with it, knowing that struggling at this point was a waste of her energy, just like struggling against Josh would have been. She walked where they wanted them to without showing any signs of a struggle. As they were being taken towards the cells, Steven followed the men to the prison cells.

Liliana
"Yeah..." Liliana wasn't exactly the type that was fond of hurting others or killing animals for food, but she knew what had to be done, had to be done. You had to eat to survive, and it wasn't like she hadn't eaten hunted meat before back at her old home before everything went to hell. She had just never hunted it for herself, or killed anyone for that matter. Really, she had really shot off a gun period. While she wanted to get out of here, she was afraid what might happen outside the fences if she ended up having to be pushed into the realities of the world with the others, because she had been so protected by her home that she knew little about actually surviving. Her sister hadn't, either, but even she had more experience just out of her own personal curiosity, but now she was way more trained than either of them would have probably ever had expected to end up. She tried to contain her worry, though.

"Soon...I'm hoping they stay distracted...Maybe something major happened and they're disorganized. I dunno...I just want to wait for a bit before we try and leave" Liliana said to Teague.

Atlas caught the gas mask, then immediately tossed it back. "Can you not see me? I haven't taken this gas mask off since coming down here," He said, raising an eyebrow and adjusting his mask. He moved further in to the place, keeping on high alert.

The Mob

"What the f*ck's goin' on?" said Sawyer worriedly, looking through a pair of binoculars. He and Karen were in the old Volkswagen Jetta that the group had taken and modified a few days ago. In the driver's seat, Karen shrugged. She had her SMG prepared in case someone popped out of the woodlands. There were gunshots going off in the A.F.A at the moment, and that was putting her and the rest of her group out of balance. Curtis had sent them out for a little scouting mission. In the past few hours, activity inside the base had heightened to alarming levels.

Just now, some guns went off, but right after that there was abrupt silence. Feeling accomplished, Sawyer swung his shotgun over his shoulder and returned to the car. "Alright, Karen. Let's hit it. I ain't got a damn idea what's going on in there..." he admitted as he entered the Jetta.

The Jetta soon rejoined the rest of the Mob, where the others were waiting. It was obvious that everyone was on edge at the moment. Gunshots from inside? That probably meant that there was either a fight, or a mass execution. Curtis was bothered by the latter. Their main goal here was to find out what exactly was happening inside the Academy, and if in case, it was bad... They would stop it. He didn't feel so good about bringing his 12 year-old boy into the heat, but he was determined to help. Besides, he couldn't be left here either; and Curt would need all the help he could get. Though Mav's hands were small, they would serve their purpose. Like they do on the Dragon.

Teague, Roni, & Léonce

Once the shooting was over, Léonce walked over. He was holding a shard of glass. Its wider end was wrapped up in electrical tape and thin cloth. He looked around cautiously before stuffing it in his coat pocket. Fortunately, the cotton was thick enough that he wouldn't get any cuts. Teague looked surprised, yet pleased. Léonce seemed eager to cooperate after all. He smiled at them.
"Bet ya didn't expect this, huh?" he asked the two, patting the pocket where the shard was hidden.

Teague laughed and ended with a relieved sigh. "Alright, just... Don't let anyone hear. I don't think we can trust anyone right now." he whispered, looking around the room. There were very few other slaves around, and they seemed just as uneasy as Teague.
"Maybe... Just maybe, I can find a weapon of my own. They took my stuff, but I'll find something. How 'bout you Liliana?"

Aden, Sofia, & Cayden

Sofia almost squealed when Electra came back all bloodied. For a moment she thought that she was hurt, but that was before she fired shots. Instinctively, she crouched down and pulled her gun, downing two men in quick succession. Cayden used his fists to pound one man close to death before getting back up and shooting armed men himself.

Unlike the two, Aden dropped down quick right at the moment the first guns went off. He was hunched down, holding his arms over his head. He reached for the little gun in his pants, but with all the shaking, it fell out of his grasp. He didn't bother to pick it up. Throughout the short gunfight, Aden kept his head down, trying to pull at Woodrow's pants to make him get down, but he wouldn't. It was too late when Aden got up, kneeling. Some man roughly grabbed his arm and forced him up with a knee. "Get up, twerp." he hissed, pushing the muzzle of his gun against Aden's back. He obeyed, looking up at Woodrow.

Sofia and Cayden dropped their guns as well later, admitting defeat. They held their hands up as they were ushered towards the prison cells with the others in the group. Aden whimpered softly as he was shoved along, looking back constantly at Cathal who he had only noticed had been shot. This was going all terribly wrong.

Woodrow
Woodrow sighed and shook his head disappointedly when the guards failed to take him up on the offer of whiskey. He took a swig from the bottle and glanced around while they waited, humming a tune to himself. When Electra eventually arrived covered in blood he capped the whiskey and placed it back in his pack, allowing his hand to rest on the axe in preparation for what might follow. The gunshots rang out and his reaction followed shortly after. He moved with lithe agility towards a guard nearby Aden and buried the axe in the man's chest. Woodrow's face was cold and icy as blood splattered back onto him. He had barely managed to remove the axe before Steven showed up and everything seemed to stop. Woodrow's breathing was heavy and his eyes had a wild glimmer to them as he regarded the man sentencing them to jail time. He saw the others drop their weapons and saw the guard approach Aden. He could act, who knows, he might even sink a finishing blow on this Steven guy . . . But then he himself would be slaughtered on the spot. He dropped the axe angrily and glared at Steven.
"Watch yerself little man. The Dullahan's comin' fer yeah, aye, he'll find ye. Always does, I should know. I'm his messenger."
Woodrow said icily, his voice little more than an animal growl. The adrenaline from the brief encounter had yet to be burnt, he still felt raring to go. However, this was Electra's plan, he had to follow it for as long as it seemed set to work.

United States Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado
Steven laughed heavily at what Woodrow used as a threat to him, not sure what the boy was on about but finding whatever it was amusing either way. And not exactly much of a threat to him, because whatever it was, it didn't sound like something he'd believe in. "We'll see about that" He responded, still amused, but the way he acted amused was rather unsettling. It wasn't the good kind of amused, but the amused that made you feel like something was off about him.

Eventually they would get to the cells in the military base, which Steven started to chuckle about when they arrived, and he ordered the men to put them in their respective cells he wanted them in. He was observant, and he wanted to put the people together in the places he deemed to be the most appropriate for them to be in. The most appropriate way to amuse himself, anyway. He ordered the men to put Electra in with Drake and Aden, which they did immediately, then Woodrow and Cathal in the same place, telling the men to be gentle with Cathal because he was injured, which got an eyebrow raise from Electra, and then Cayden and Sofia together in another cell. They locked up the respective cages so they wouldn't get out, and then Steven looked towards Woodrow and Cathal

"Anything specific you two need to make sure Cathal doesn't bleed to death?" Steven asked them genuinely, like he was going to get them stuff to help fix of Cathal if he was just told what he needed to get. Or, at least, he'd send men out to get the supplies. This made Electra raise her eyebrow even more than before, expecting that Steven would have just let Cathal bleed out, not actually bother to attempt and help him.

Electra sat down on one of the old beds in the cell, and let out a deep sigh for multiple reasons. For one, she believed that her sister was now dead, and had been treated very poorly while she was alive on top of that, making her 2 year journey through hell worthless. But now her anger had set off Josh capturing her and taking her into a building, and without thinking it through completely, having stabbed the man to death to get free, instead of, say, injuring him enough to get the point across and them continuing the conversation, maybe her and her friends getting out peacefully. But nope, her anger had to overwhelm her, and her brutality that she had developed with it, making her kill the leader, getting Cathal shot, and now them all thrown into cells like this. At least they had ended up hiding their stuff that could be used for lockpicks...All their weapons had been taken away and thrown into some storage that Electra kept a very close eye on its location so that they could get their weapons back easily enough if they managed to escape.

Electra remained silent at the moment, but since Steven had thrown Drake into the same cell as her, she expected that any minute now Drake would open his mouth and complain at her, and she honestly felt like she would probably deserve whatever he wanted to complain to her about. It was her fault they were in here, after all, and from what she knew of Drake, she felt like he was a man who would like to speak his mind when something was bothering him, and she had a pretty good feeling that he had something he wanted to say at this point.

Liliana
"We don't have to kill anyone..." Liliana bit her lip, looking hesitant about Leonce grabbing a shard of glass that she had a feeling he was going to use to slice someones throat open or stab them in the neck at some point if he had to. At least the thought of it likely being a last resort option reassured her, but she wasn't too fond of the thought that one of them might have to kill someone in an emergency situation. She didn't like having any blood on their hands. Her specifically, she had never killed anyone, infected or not, in her life. And she'd rather not start to, either. She may have hurt people, like when she was being captured, but even then there was little that she could have done.

"I have nothing...Everything I own was burned with my village" Liliana frowned sadly at some of her memories of her stuff from her village, and how it was all gone now. "All I have is whatever I was given here. The clothes on my body, other pointless crap, that sort..." She sighed deeply. "Well, I have this" She waved the frying pan that she was holding, chuckling lightly.

There was a bit of talking outside, and Liliana decided to get close to the door and snoop on the conversation taking place. One of the guards had come up to the one at the front door, and informed the other guard that the leader had been killed by one of the new arrivals. Liliana looked a little surprised. Someone came in and assassinated the leader, just like that? Was that what the shooting was? Or was that the aftermath? The man a bit later said that the attackers, or specifically one killer, were now all captured, and that Steven had quickly taken over command, but that everyone was also in a bit of state of surprise about the whole affair, so everything was a bit disorganized at the moment while everyone was adjusting to the changes and what had happened. There were men cleaning up the murders that had happened, from the shootout and the killings of the guards that one of the arrivals had done. They were quite a few men short just from this little outburst of issues that had happened. The man told him that he had something he needed to attend to, and that he was to stay here guarding the door...by himself, which he nodded to.

"Sounds like now is a good time to escape. I overheard them saying to each other that Josh is dead, and that they're all very disorganized at the moment. Sounds like a good time to try and escape to me. What do you think?" She asked the others quietly as possible

Woodrow
Woodrow looked at Steven angrily. He had calmed down a while back and was thinking about the escape but it didn't mean he felt less hatred for Steven. He looked at Cathal's wound and made a quick diagnosis,
"I'll need some gauze, rubbing alcohol and bandages."
He said unhappily. He had plans, but they would have to wait until Cathal was not going to die
"Also some forceps and a scalpel if I could."

"A doctor, are we? I guess it is your lucky day boy" Steven said to Cathal, smiling warmly at the boy. He was pleased that he had conveniently thrown the "doctor" in with the injured boy. He was expecting to be given some half ass'd description of what he needed, based off of little personal experience. But it sounded like this boy knew what he was doing. He gestured to one of the men, telling them to get the supplies requested, and they nodded and took off.

Then Steven turned back to Cathal and Woodrow and smiled their way until the man got back with the supplies. He ordered the man to give the doctor the stuff, and the man did so, sticking everything through the bars to Woodrow. "Now don't try anything" Steven told Woodrow, since he was giving him some possibly dangerous supplies if he wanted to use it to stab someone. "That won't end well" He said calmly.

Woodrow
Woodrow smirked sarcastically,
"Oh sure, I'm definitely gonna try somethin' funny behind these bars. What d'ye take me fer? A fool. I try somethin' ye'll drop me like the coward ye are, with a gun from the other side of the room."
Woodrow muttered moodily and took the supplies, grumbling angrily to himself. He knelt down next to Cathal and inspected the wound once more. He took of the battered old belt that had resided around his waste for the past couple days and folded it up before handing it to Cathal,
"Bite down on this if it starts hurtin' too much."
He said and began the careful process of removing the bullet fragments from Cathal. He carefully cleaned the wound. It would have been better if he could have stitched it shut, that's what he knew he should have done for a bullet wound but he had no experience with stitches, and now wasn't the time to learn. He bandaged it up as best he could, recalling all the times his father had shown him the crossing patterns for bandaging. He purposefully bandaged extra, adding another length of bandage for a plan.
"Thanks."
He muttered and handed the stuff back to Steven.

Teague, Roni, & Léonce

Léonce scoffed, looking to the door. "We might need to, otherwise things will go rough." he told Liliana, shaking his head.

Teague nodded to agree. "It's better to have something to defend yourself." he said in addition, grinning at Liliana's frying pan. Then he sighed and knelt down beside Roni. "I didn't have anything to begin with." he muttered, hugging his dog. "Just my life and my best friend slash brother."

He stayed with his dog as Liliana moved on to the door to listen to what was happening outside. When she came back and reported what'd happened, Léonce looked ecstatic. He started to laugh, shaking his head. "Well.." he blubbered, tearing up a bit. "Someone finally dealt with that assh*le. Now there's just Steven."

Teague wasn't sure who Josh was, but since he was gone and Léonce seemed happy about it, he assumed that it meant good. He got back up and led his dog closer to the door. "I'm up for it.. I need to get my stuff back too.. Do you guys know where they might've put them?" he asked, picking up the scarf to prepare for what would happen outside. "Hey, watch." he said to Léonce and Liliana. To Roni he said aggressively, holding up his scarf, "Bad guy, Roni! Bad guy!" the dog's ears perked at the words, then he snarled and quite quickly snatched the scarf from his master and tore it to three pieces. "Neat, huh?" he asked the two as he rose up, rubbing his hands together. Léonce nodded, impressed. He took the glass shard out carefully so as not to cut himself and told Liliana, genuinely determined. "Let's do it."

Aden

After being left in the cell with Drake and Electra, Aden crawled over to a corner and just sat there silently. Woodrow wasn't here, so there was no one to grab on to. It would be awkward to try and do that with either of the two in the cell since he barely knew them. Right now, since there were no instructions for him just yet, he tried to comfort himself by curling up and taking deep breaths. He was completely ignoring Electra and Drake. There was no point in asking what was next now. Things had taken a terrible turn. Aden didn't even know what'd happened and he wished he'd paid attention.

There were still the tubes filled with acid in his heels, but now wouldn't be the time to exactly take them out for everyone to see. Even though he was trying to shut the world out, he could hear some other guy and Woodrow talking. Woodrow seemed especially upset. But it was nice to know that Cathal's wound was being tended to. Even still, he needed comfort. With his voice slightly hoarse, he tried to call out for Woodrow and Sofia, wondering where they were at the moment.

Sofia & Cayden

Despite being dumped in a cell, Cayden still looked smug as ever. He gave the guard who brought him to the cells a hard time by constantly shifting his weight. The guard couldn't do a thing though as he was holding both of the man's arms back. In truth, Cayden wanted to turn around and lash out at the guy who was smaller, but enough people had been hurt for the time. He went quietly, albeit rather grudgingly.

Sofia was more hysterical about the situation and was walking around the room in a panic. "What the hell are we gonna do now?" she hissed at Cayden, hoping the guys outside wouldn't hear. The man took his hat off, scratched his head and shrugged. "Dunno." he said simply, taking a seat on the dismal bed by the wall. "But I'll tell you now. We'll find a way outta this dump."

Cayden's assurance wasn't enough, as Sofia continued to walk about. She would peek out into the hall through the bars every now and then, couldn't hear Aden, and wondering how Woodrow was doing. She could hear him talking to that other man who appeared to be a leader as well. Aden was elsewhere, probably keeping to himself and not doing anything useful. Sofie wanted to hit something, but that could cause more of a problem than there already was. She finally stopped and leaned against the wall. "Dammit, dammit, dammit!" she growled, pounding the wall with her fists. And things were going so well too, she thought, covering her face in frustration while Cayden just sat there and watched her.

Cowden

Mr.Cowden listened intently as the boy spoke and did his best to respond in kind and clear up any questions or confusion the boy might have regarding the Cowden's way of life and things that had happened up till now. When the subject of helping the boy out and what they might get in return, Mr.Cowden seemed to need to ponder for a bit before settling on something as he cleared his throat and broke the momentary silence he had just garnered.

"Well we don't really need much in the way of supplies unless you have hygiene products or toilet paper. More, the fact that Im worried that the higher ups of the old world government might have actually made it to the cheyenne mountain complex before everything went to hell, so we could use a couple extra hands incase we need to perform a hostile takeover or run into any trouble along the way. Im not willing to put my little girls in that sort of danger. But my daughters and I have battled bandits together, before, so freeing your family shouldn't be too difficult." he said with a shrug as one of the dogs came by and started sniffing Mr.Cowden Inappropriately, causing him to clear his throat again and blush slightly as he pushed the dog away and told it to go lay down before heading back to the sciency-looking table near the cabin's door and went back to working on his device as he spoke again.

"So when exactly did you wish to go galavanting off to find your parents? Our initial plan was to stay here for 3 or 4 days, get a little r&r in before heading off to try to find the NSA building, but we can switch around our plans to help you if need be. After all, it is the apocalypse. Not like we have anything but time now. " he said with a forced chuckle.

Steven
"I am not as much of a coward as Josh was. Or a dumb ass. I mean look! He got himself killed by a little girl!" Steven laughed, getting an eyebrow raise from many of his own men. It didn't seem like their new leader cared one bit that the old one was dead. Despite Josh' faults, they at least liked how he seemed more...level headed than Steven, who always acted crazy and all over the place. Like not seeming to care all that much that the leader was now dead. Maybe he liked his new place of power, they weren't sure. Either way, they were questioning their leaders sanity as usual, though people like Electra might question the sanity of all of them...and herself.

After Woodrow was done fixing up Cathal, who probably didn't enjoy that all too much, he gave the stuff back, and Steven took it and gave it to the same man who had given him the stuff in the first place to put it back where he found it. Before Steven could say anything more, one of his men burst in and ran up to Electra's cell

"I am going to make you physically pay for this!" He shouted at Electra, who just popped up her head to look at him when he spoke, like he hadn't just shouted at her. "You are going to know what it feels like to be raped little girl!" He growled viciously at her through the bars. All she really did in response was twitch uncomfortably at the words. Though every time she got called a little girl, she started to get pissed off, because she hated to be called a little girl, since she didn't like to think of herself as a little girl at all anymore.

"We don't do that anymore" Steven told the man shouting at Electra through the bars, knowing that word spread like wildfire that some teenage girl had taken out the leader, and it was easy to guess that the one that was covered in blood was the culprit. "Josh didn't care, but I do. You will not physically harm any girls like that under my rule" He said sternly to the man, who began to look rather pissed off. Not only was he pissed at Electra now, the new leader sucked and acted like he had some freaking morals or something.

"You're just gonna turn a blind eye to what this bratty teenager has done to us?!" The man shouted at Steven, glaring at him now.

"Of course not. But that doesn't mean I will give you authority to harm people in that way" Steven said, looking like he was having a face off with the man who was stuck in his little temper tantrum, and looked like he wanted to lunge out at Steven. Which he ended up doing, brandishing a knife and charging Steven, who totally expected it since this guy had a history of having uncontrollable anger issues he liked to take out on others. The man got a knife stabbed into his ribs and into his heart, killing him instantly, Steven letting the man fall to the ground.

"I've been dying to kill that motherfucker for a long time now" Steven said to nobody in particular, looking pleased with himself that he now had the authority to do whatever the hell he wanted, even to his own men. Josh rarely ever killed his own men, unless they seriously got out of order. Steven didn't care what he did to his men. If they caused problems, they could easily die, like the man in front of him. The other men of his around him looked at him in a bit of a scared manner, but at the same time they all looked relieved that they no longer had to deal with that pain in the ass. Even Electra almost felt like thanking Steven for at least having some sense in him, but instead she ended up just watching the commotion and saying nothing, realizing that what had just happened could have easily been one of her friends, or herself, if they tried to escape or if things had gone differently.

Liliana
"Yeah..." Liliana said quietly to Leonce saying that it was about time someone dealt with that asshole Josh. While Steven bothered her quite a bit, especially when he tormented her the other day, Josh was always the one she disliked the most. She felt bad being glad that he was dead and gone, but she couldn't help those feelings today, and she decided that being glad some bad guy was dead was the least of her problems at the moment.

"I don't know...It depends what you had. If you have weapons, I have no idea. Anything else that can't be used as some sort of weapon, they'd let you keep, so you probably have it in here somewhere. It might be too risky to try and get your stuff, wherever it is..." Liliana frowned deeply, because she figured he'd really like to get his stuff back, but she couldn't see any way that would be safe to do. She twitched when he held up his scarf and told his dog that it was a bad guy, and the dog snarled and ripped it into pieces. "I'm glad I'm not on the receiving end of your dog" Was her reply to what happened. "I hope we don't need to have your dog tear anyone up like that..." She said quietly. She gave a nod at Leonce being ready, and took a deep breath. She felt bad leaving the other slaves behind, but she knew it was way too dangerous to bring that many people out. 3 was dangerous enough. Having probably something like 100 people storming out of the base was waaayyyy too obvious. So no matter what she thought, she had to accept that she had to leave like this.

Liliana threw the door open quickly, obviously alerting the guard out there, though he acted a bit distracted. But before he could do anything noteworthy other than turn around to see what was going on, he found a frying pan connecting hard with his head. She bit her lip as the man fell to the ground, hoping she hadn't killed him, but she knew she was just being silly, and all she did was hit him hard enough to knock him out for a while. Just to make sure though, she checked to see if the man was breathing still, and he was, so she gestured the others out hurriedly and started sneaking around the base towards the only potentially useful exit she knew.

Colin
Colin nodded in understanding at Mr. Cowden's request, though he doubted there was much remnants of the old world government, if any, so he doubted that if they did encounter anyone there, that it would be the old world government. He expected if it was anyone, it'd probably be more bandits or something instead. "Whatever you need" He said, clearly willing to assist them in return for their help. He laughed lightly as the dog came over and did its inappropriate thing, shaking his head at the dog. "Animals sometimes, man. They have no sense of what's appropriate to humans..." He shook his head again, but moved on from that subject pretty quickly.

"I didn't have an exact time I planned to head off to try and find them. So whenever fits for you guys works for me. We can stay here for a few days to relax and whatnot. I'm in no rush" Colin told Mr. Cowden.

Teague, Roni, & Léonce

Teague grunted and shook his head. Maybe he'd have to leave his things, after all. It was a terrible waste, but getting out would be really worth it.
"Alright." he shrugged and stayed closer to the door. His dog seemed pretty eager to get out into the open air. He giggled softly at Liliana's comment on Roni's attack and shook his head at her, seeming confident. "Sometimes I don't need to say a word. It's either because he's hungry, or he sees someone who looks like he's about to hurt me." he told her with another shrug.

He and Léonce moved quickly out the door right after Liliana swung her frying pan into the man's head. Léonce laughed a bit, somewhat glad he didn't have to bury his makeshift weapon into the guy's back. He made sure to stay behind the two in case something went wrong like it did for whoever recently came into the base. Roni was trotting along right behind Teague while Liliana led the line.

Teague glanced back at the building where a few kids were peeking out the door. Fortunately, they were smart enough to stay inside. They even shut the door but left it open a bit in case the three changed their minds. "Right..." Teague said quietly, crouched down as he walked behind Liliana. It was obvious that he was far more afraid than he seemed. "Where're we going, Liliana?" he asked, gripping the pipe he'd taken on the way out tightly.

Meanwhile outside the Air Force Academy, one fairly powerful group and a smaller and capable one were converging on the area. One from the North and the other from the North-East...

Travaran flexed his fingers around the steering wheel of the big black Cadillac, staying as quiet as possible. His brother was fast asleep. He should be, anyway. They'd been through a lot in the past few days. Trav needed a rest as well, but he could manage better, being the older one. Their father always expected him to be durable and brave for the sake of his brother, or anyone who needed his help. Determined to keep that promise, he held back a yawn and kept his eyes straight on the road as he drove on towards Colorado Springs.

Maneuvering through the city streets was far more difficult than it looked. With all the submerged portions and natural blockades, it was almost impossible to get through. Luckily, Travaran found more than one ways over most obstacles. Eventually, they came to a point where the only obstructions on the street were vines and small bushes. Cars seem to have been kept off this highway by the military. That is, before it fell apart. The Cadillac drove by the other end of the Academy just as Electra fired rounds into the man with the revolver. Knox was woken, though rather slowly. He looked around, rubbing his eyes. "W-What... What was that, Am?" he asked and yawned.

Trav leaned forward to look up the wall, then shrugged. "Dunno, bud. Came from inside, though." he told his brother and backed the van up carefully so as not to fall into the ditch that was behind him.

A little later, after the two boys got out of their car, Trav got his shotgun ready and briefed his brother.
"Right, so here's what we're going to do." he started off, replacing the magazine on his AA-12. "I heard shots, and maybe you heard them too. Just maybe. So... We're gonna see what exactly's goin' on."

Knox only nodded, putting his weapons where they should be. Though he was small, he could still slink around well despite the weight. Their first task would be getting across the wall which was pretty well guarded, though they didn't see the Cadillac since it was way too far down, obscured from sight by a roof of branches and vines. This side of the wall was slightly higher, only because the ground beneath it had eroded, taking down much of the urban area down with it. Trav made his brother scale the slope leading to the rooftop of an old apartment building before going up himself. Knox looked upset as he peeked over the foot high wall on the rooftop. "There's no way over the wall, Am." he said, jerking his head in the direction of the base. "At least not over here." Trav couldn't help but agree, and helped his brother down to the slope. There they returned to their car and drove out further, observing the base.

"This place is damn huge." Trav said almost absentmindedly, but made sure he had control over the car. Knox only nodded. He was holding his AUG up so that it was propped up against the door, so that if someone or something hostile came up, he could shoot the crap out of them right away. For his age, he didn't seem to be scared at all by the fact that he was out here alone with his brother. Constantly in danger.

"We could get inside, but I doubt we could get out. You see those guards?" he said, disappointed. Knox nodded again. "Too bad." he mumbled, tapping the side of his gun with an index finger. Right now, they would keep around the base, looking for a way in. Trav still wanted to get inside, and since they had not yet checked the entire length of the fence, he figured there would be a way into the base somehow. Sneaking in would be great. Since they were also well armed and well trained, fighting wouldn't be a problem.

(My brother and I could provide some support for the three since... Yeah. Léonce is still going to die thoug.h. :'()

They have no sense of what's appropriate to humans..." Mr.Cowden nods briefly, seeming to listen, mildly agreeably to the responce as he seems to ponder a response, unintentionally making it clear he was trying to avoid talking about what the dog just did, as much as the boy was likely trying to. "I'm glad to hear you feel that way. We have been on the road for several days straight, only stopping for rest or bathroom breaks, and rarely even that. We need a bit of time to unwind and relax. Plus, this gives me some much needed time to work on my device. I haven't had the time to pull this thing out and work on it in quite some time. We'll probably stay here for 3 or 4 days, before we head out. In the meantime, I suppose you could enlighten me on your plans regarding your parents, where they are, and how you plan to get there." He pointed out a bit distractedly as he worked away on his device.

Cathal was just sort of in a daze through the whole thing, crying out in pain when the guards took him to the cell. He just squirmed and whimpered, up until Woodrow went to work on his wounds, at which point he simply passed out.

Electra was right that Drake was going to get mad at her. As soon as they were in the cage, he began pacing, though it wasn't very impressive due to his limping rather badly. "This was a stupid idea," Drake said,"Well, the idea was stupid enough, but it was the execution that was really the bad part. How the hell could you think it was a good idea to kill their leader?! How did you think that was going to go? 'Oh hey, I killed your leader. Hope you're fine with that'" He kicked at the bars angrily with his injured leg, which was a terrible idea, and he ended up jumping up and down on one foot for a bit, hissing in pain. Once he recovered, he continued his rant,"I may have agreed to your 'plan', but you are a terrible leader. When you were attacking him, did you even think of us? We came here without a second thought to help you, we put ourselves willingly in to your hands, because we thought it was the right thing to do, and did you even thing for one second what might happen if you killed him? Cathal could die because you didn't stop to think."
Times are looking grim these days~

Electra
Electra sat on one of the cell beds, watching Drake pace back and forth like she was patiently waiting for him to start shouting at her about this whole ordeal. And as she had expected, he started to speak his mind, getting irritated at her, which at this point she honestly understood why he would be irritated with her. But even then, it was hard for her not to get set off when someone made her angry about something, and even though she pretty much thought he was in the right to be mad right now, considering the fact she murdered someone because she couldn't keep her anger contained, she responded to what he said anyway, instead of trying to keep things cool and level headed.

"Do you REALLY think I thought that was a good idea? He pissed me off and it set me off, I tried to attack him in anger, he grabbed me, put me into an arm lock and started pushing me into this warehouse or whatever, and I didn't trust him so I broke free and stabbed him to death" Electra knew that her explanation wasn't likely to make Drake feel any better, but said it anyway. "I could have just, you know...broke free and called peace so we could continue what we were trying to talk about, but my anger at him just got the better of me...and so I stabbed him like...15 times without thinking it through properly..." She let out a sigh, having a hard time seriously arguing with Drake right now, though she knew she was probably just feeding the fire with her words to Drake. She didn't pay any mind to Drake angrily kicking the bars and injuring his leg, because she had expected that to happen. "The plan was going perfectly fine at first" She pointed out as if that was somehow reassuring. "If you had a better plan, you should have said something. Oh, right, you didn't, and went along with the oh so terrible plan without much protest" She said, her voice raising, but she tried to control her raising anger because she really was trying to attempt not to escalate things too much, though she felt like she was failing. "No, I didn't. I was blinded by an angry hatred at what he said to me. Only after I stabbed him to death did I realize what...what I had just done and caused for us all..." She let out a sigh again, expecting to have Drake either yell at her some more, or punch her in the face shortly.

Liliana
"He...he attacks people because he's hungry?" Liliana didn't exactly consider that to be comforting, though she wasn't sure if it was supposed to be or not. She didn't say anything after that, though, choosing to move on to what they were planning. Which was their escape.

"To the only way I know that could possibly work as an escape right now" Liliana said, continuing through a section of the facility, doing her best to stay behind things and peaking around corners to see if anybody was nearby. A lot of people appeared to be talking about the events of today, clearly distracted from their jobs. Others were missing from their typical posts, for whatever reason or other. Even though they hadn't been here that long, having recently moved into the base area from some other settlement, she had been here long enough to know peoples patrol routes and such. And it was definitely off from the normal. She would probably have been caught by now under the old order of things.

Eventually she got to where she wanted to go, and let out a sigh, because she wasn't particularly looking forward to this. "Here we are" She said quietly. In front of them was what appeared to be one of those water drainage pipes of sorts, and for some dumb reason or other, it went under the fence, making a good access for people to get in and out if they felt like escaping or entering. The only notable problem was that the pipe was rather...small, and it looked like a human could barely make it through it. She bit her lip, because she had a claustrophobia issue, and this would be a great way to set it off.

"Who first?" She asked, a hint of fear in her voice, but also hopefulness that they would be able to make it out alive. Freedom was so close now, but the close freedom was through a tiny pipe of claustrophobia, and she was afraid that something was going to go terribly wrong. Sh would have to hope for the best right now...

Colin
"it gives me well needed rest, too. I've been on the move for a while now. I could use the break" Colin said to Mr. Cowden. He also thought to himself that it could be a good time to get to know Mr. Cowden's oldest daughter, since Mr. Cowden appeared to be very okay with the whole thing. Having the company of someone his age for the first time in a long time could definitely be good for him, and it was just a bonus that the girl was pretty...Now he just had to try and avoid making an even bigger fool out of himself than he already had before even talking to the dang girl one-on-one. "Well, I plan on getting there by driving there" He chuckled lightly at his stupid comment. "I know who likely took them, and I've heard rumors about that the group that likely took them heading to Colorado Springs to occupy the United States Air Force Base or something like that....It might end up being too dangerous to try and rescue them, but...we can at least see before I give up, right?" He looked Mr. Cowden's way hopefully.

Mr.Cowden only had an inkling of what the boy's plan with his daughters might be as the boy thought about it. Naturally, given the attitude and reactions the boy had given so far, Mr.Cowden wasn't too worried about anything bad happening. The teenager was clearly way too bashful. Mr.Cowden nodded in agreement and ushered some words of understanding and how he could relate when the boy mentioned needing a break as well. Though, when the subject of driving to wherever this place might be, Mr.Cowden stared at the boy in confusion and befuddled for a few brief moments as he glanced around, trying to see if he could spot another vehicle in the midst. To no success. At which point, he felt the need to comment as such.

"Drive there? I was not aware you had a form of motorized transport. I certainly do not see any lying about." He pointed out with a sweeping gesture of the grounds from where he stood. He let the boy explain, if he did, and then continue to ramble on about everything else that was just previously asked of him before intersecting with a response of his own, clearly surprised at where the boy had said the place was, getting a quizzical stare and a raised eyebrow toward the boy briefly, as if to silent be saying ' you've got to be kidding me. ' just before actual words were spoken.

"Well now, isn't that something? Colorado springs is it? Your in luck, boy. It just so happens that, according to the old world maps I've perused, that place just happens to be the nearest town to the Cheyenne mountain military installation, we are going to try to take over. How convenient for you. And if it is as dangerous, to retrieve your parents, as you claim, then your in luck there as well, sense I just so happen to have certain equipment to protect against bullets and arrows and such things. Perhaps I'll lend some stuff to you on our way in." He said cryptically, with a shrug as he kept fiddling about with his device, seeming to either have ignored or just not heard anything else the boy had said up till then.

"I do. It is at my camp. I think it is a Honda Accord or something, if I remember right" Colin said to Mr. Cowden. "But if you have the space, it would probably be better if we all rode together, so we're not using even more gas than one vehicle would use" He said as a suggesting after talking about the vehicle that he already had back where he had set up camp.

"Nice" Colin said with a smile. "Conveniences are always great. And I'm sure that stuff you speak of would come in handy. Not sure how handy it would be against sniper rifles, though, but I would guess it would be useful otherwise. That's to say if they even have sniper rifles to be worrying about, just saying. Better prepare for anything" He finished.
