Your faction is accepted. Which reminds me. I need to make a faction list.


Given the fact that from what I'm reading on the wiki, some characters might it significantly harder to survive than others. Those with healing factors and naturally high durability might be fine. But given the fact that there are some very powerful telepathic beings in WH40k which only a handful of characters can resist... It would be a good place for later in the RP when they decide to stop trying to kill each other.

Having us meet up on the Predator world (from the 2010 film) might be good.

For those who know all about the clusterfuck that is the WH40k universe, since it is not in my roster of, universes I have decent knowledge of, would you mind setting the setting up? Because I would have no idea where to start and would most likely ruin the experience. Especially for those who know what is going on.

Powers, abilities, and skills: During combat, Darth Nihilus fought in an aggressive, one-handed style. He had learned some of the greatest of the Sith teachings, but such practices took the form of dependence. They would make him stronger, but only for a time, and he would have to feed upon Force energy to replenish his strength. For this reason, Force-sensitives and worlds rich in the Force would draw him. His reach in the Force eventually extended to a point where he could feel Force users throughout the galaxy to find planets he would then cleanse entirely, killing everything who was touched by the Force. Prolonged use of this power made him a threat to all life, as his craving grew more intense with each feeding. Eventually, Nihilus' hunger controlled him, not the other way around, and the Sith Lord would instinctively feed upon those around him, slowly killing them. Nihilus' very speech caused pain and death to all who heard it, and those who served him became utter slaves in time. His ability was somewhat similar to Surik's influence upon others: the reconvened Jedi Council in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine inferred that the Sith had somehow learned this ability to feed on the Force from her.[4]

Darth Nihilus was adept in many aspects of the Force. He used his dark variant of the Sever Force ability to betray Darth Traya alongside Darth Sion by stripping her of the Force and casting her out of the Sith Order. Nihilus could also use the Force to lift starships, as he did on Malachor V with the Ravager. He tore it from the mass shadows that surrounded the planet and kept it together even though it had suffered extensive structural damage.[4] Through the Force, Darth Nihilus was able to escape death by containing his consciousness in his armor—an ability that Darth Krayt would inquire of Nihilus' holocron millennia later.[24] He was also proficient in Dark rage, Farsight, Force lightning, Force resistance, Force scream, and Force whirlwind, among others, such as a dark variant of Force healing called Dark Healing. His knowledge also extended to Sith alchemy: during the second battle of Onderon, Nihilus' sect of Sith followers used techniques that would bend tame beasts to their will.[4] Nihilus could increase the strength of Force powers he used greatly, if he wished, and he was capable of reaching through the Force at a range as far as a star system.

Another source I found has a shortened list of powers/abilities in a suitable format:
Superhuman strength, speed, durability, stamina, endurance, precognition/prescience, Force enhanced reflexes/reactions, clairvoyance, telepathy, telekinesis, Dark Healing, Force Drain, Force Lightning, Force Scream, Sever Force, Ritual of Transfer Essense (had transferred his soul into his armor/mask prior to the events of KOTOR II), matter manipulation on a sub-atomic scale (as per creating a Holocron, it requires one to make numerous precision alterations to it on a subatomic scale)

Equipment (If any): Lightsaber, mask, robe/armour, that kinda stuff.
Short backstory:

Darth Nihilus was a Human male who reigned as a Dark Lord of the Sith during the era of strife following the Jedi Civil War. Before becoming a Sith Lord, he lost everything during the Galactic Republic's war against the Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders. He survived the activation of the Mass Shadow Generator superweapon during the war's final battle at the planet of Malachor V, which surrounded the planet with a destructive spatial phenomenon known as a mass shadow. Experiencing the shadow that obliterated almost everything on and around the planet made Nihilus crave Force energy. The affliction painfully ravaged his body while rendering him a wound in the Force. He was found by a seeker of these, the Sith Lord Darth Traya, who told him that she could teach him to feed his endless hunger. He accepted her offer of apprenticeship at the Trayus Academy on Malachor V, and, over time, he became one of three concurrent Dark Lords of the Sith.

Together, they formed a triumvirate with Traya at its head and her other apprentice, Darth Sion, as the third member. The trio chose individual names for themselves, with Darth Nihilus becoming the Lord of Hunger. The apprentices grew in strength during their training and eventually overpowered their Master. Sion defeated Traya, while Nihilus sapped her energy, before the two Sith exiled her and combined their powers to sever her ties to the Force. Nihilus' affliction developed to the point where the Dark Lord was forced to call upon the dark side of the Force to encase his spirit within his mask and armor to stay alive. Sion and he then began a Jedi purge, causing the virtual extinction of the Jedi Order. Nihilus was responsible for the devastation of the planet Katarr in 3952 BBY, killing and absorbing the Force energy of the Jedi at the Conclave on Katarr along with every other living thing on the world save one Miraluka woman named Visas Marr. Marr was collected from the surface and Nihilus began to train her as his Shadow Hand.

One year later, Nihilus sensed a growing presence in the Force and sent Marr out to eliminate it. That presence was a female Jedi, Meetra Surik, who was on a quest to find the few Jedi Masters who had survived the Purge. When Marr attempted to assassinate the woman, Surik defeated her and convinced her to turn to the light side of the Force in the process. Although Nihilus returned to lurking the fringes of known space, the man was eventually tricked by Traya into initiating the Battle of Telos IV in an attempt to absorb a Jedi Academy that actually lacked any Force-sensitives aside from the headmistress. Nihilus met a large fleet comprised of Republic and Mandalorian forces at Telos that distracted him while his flagship, the Ravager, was secretly boarded by a small force consisting of Surik, Marr, Mandalore the Preserver, and his Mandalorians. The trio confronted and slew Nihilus in the ensuing duel while the Mandalorians rigged explosives that destroyed the ship. The Sith Lord's armor maintained his spirit and was collected for burial on the Sith homeworld of Korriban, where his soul could be contacted with a holocron of his own creation.

Weaknesses: Controlled by his hunger, lack of feeding on the lifeforce/force energy of others for extended periods of time weakens him. Though intelligent, his instinct drives him to a level that ensures it is the deciding factor in his decisions, and so he can act without thinking.

Short description of Tech level: Futuristic tech. Best the (Home) Galaxy can offer.
Short history of the faction: The 501st was originally comprises of Cloned Humans from Kamino. After years of training they were put under command of Jedi General Anakin Skywalker. For the next three years they served the Galactic Republic and Skywalker in the Clone Wars combating the forces of the Confederacy of Independent Systems. At the end of the war the 501st assisted Darth Vader in attacking the Jedi Temple leading to the deaths of several Order Members. During the Galactic Civil War they served directly under Darth Vader and served the Galactic Empire. During this time they earned the nickname Vaders Fist.Over the duration of the GCW Darth Vader hand picked the best of the best from across the Imperial Military to serve in the 501st Legion.

honestly, warhammer 40k is hardcore and grimdark but it really gets exaggerated. Many factions could survive in that universe, especially those with good FTL.

Short history of the faction: When Starscream was banished from the Decepticons for yet another failed coup against Megatron, he was deposited on the island of Guadalcanal, the site of one of the major battles between the United States of America and Imperial Japan during World War II. There he found and rebuilt several abandoned US military vehicles to pass the time. After he finished, he decided that if Megatron can have a Decepticon army, then so can he!After bluffing his way past Skywarp and Thundercracker to use the space bridge, he travelled to a detention center on Cybertron and liberated the personality components of several Decepticon political prisoners before destroying the rest. Back on Earth, Starscream installed the components into the rusting military vehicles and ordered them to transform.

Short backstory: Tom Riddle is his real name. He was thought to have been defeated many years ago when his dark force sought to take over the world, and he was missing something vital. The second time he returned, he possessed the mighty Elder Wand which completed his invisibility. He was thought to have been destroyed again, but instead he was returned when a follower went back in time and warned him of what was to come. As a result, he was able to avoid his death and save 3 of his Horcrux's- His snake (Nasagi), the locket, and his ring. He keeps them on his person at all times now. He was not able to defeat Harry, as he never dueled him after learning the future. Instead, he has avoided Harry for some time now and retains his immortality. He was, however, able to disarm Harry and take control of the Elder Wand after that to was revealed to him, but he still didnt kill him after he learned he to was a horcrux. Now, his death eater force (which I will have a Faction APP for) and him are in hiding again...
Weaknesses(Physical weaknesses are for more powerful characters.): After his Horcrux's are destroyed, he is vulnerable to anything. They are all that make him powerful. Also, if he is out maneuvered to many times, he tend to give up and leave...

The Force: The Founder is considered to be one of the most widely known Force Users in alignment with his Celestial Heritage, giving him such command of the Force that he is able to spawn massive Force Storms with relative ease, he is noted to have mastered Force Sever shown when he severed his Brother, Asumar Masaki's Connection to the Force.
Yin–Yang Release:In comparison to his brother, The Founder has mastered the technique of releasing his Physical and Spiritual Energies, reaching a state of Equilibrium, allowing him to further bolster his own Force Abilities, and even use the release to enhance his own Physical Strength, the Founder also has access to Natural Energy to even increase his own standard abilities.
Celestial Empowerment:Due to his kindhearted nature, The Founding Masaki was able to go a level further and gain the power of a true Celestial, gaining that level of power late in his life, even enhancing his connection to the Force to unparalleled levels, however this Empowerment has a risk, this Empowerment goes up to three levels, each level increasing the risk of injury or possibly death, this is due in part of his Human Heritage.
Spiritual Force Manipulation: Also due in part of his kindhearted nature, and his Celestial Heritage, the Founder discovered and mastered the powers of Spiritual Force Manipulation, also gaining the powers of Ki and Aura Manipulation, also being able to negate the affects of Asumar's Visual Prowess, this is due in part of Spiritual Force and the Visual Prowess being polar opposites of each other.

Hand-to-Hand Combat Mastery:Exactly like his brother, The Founder worked tirelessly to master Hand to Hand Combat so as to not rely on weaponry too often, before resorting to use of his Lightsaber as he prefered a more Non-Violent approach.
Enhanced Condition:Due to his Celestial Heritage, The Founding Masaki has maintained his Physical and Mental Condition whereas he was in the prime of his use, granting him his most potent abilities of Speed, Agility, and Strength.
One Man Army/Supernatural Combat: Similar to his brother, The Founder has fought in extremely overwhelming odds, as observed when he entered battle, allowing him to take on a large number of enemies and take them on with relative ease. While he has never gone to his limit with this skill, he had expressed difficulties when fighting his brother on Rhen Var.
Weapon Proficiency:When he was trained by the Grey Jedi named Shimura, The Founder has honed his weapons proficiency to a point that he is rivaled by his brother and anyone at his level, he can even us enemy weapons with relative ease as well.
Force Armor Generation: In order to counter his brothers Spiritual Armor technique, The Founding Masaki mastered the Force Armor Generation that was utilized by the Celestial Elders to keep a type of armor for their own bodies, The Founder even has the ability to expand this Armor Generation into a being similar to Spiritual Armor.

Short backstory: The Founding Masaki was born on the same time as his brother Asumar Masaki and trained by the same master as him, his story starts on the day when the Old Masaki Dynasty was founded, he believed in the peaceful solution to the Galactic Question of War, believing that there was indeed a way to stop the countless wars among the galaxy, by nonviolence he believed was the key was in contrast to his brother's beliefs by peace through power. On the day when the Masaki Great Conquest took place, he confronted his brother on Rhen Var, whose sole ambition was to take control of the Old Masaki Dynasty and inflict his rule of "Order", after quickly defeating his brother and exiling him. It would be hundreds of thousands years later where he would enter a Force-Related Trance, bring his body into a death state until he would be awakened by a great disturbance in the Force.
